I have been having issues with my Nokia's camera flash. When I press the flashlight option. The LED Flash will flicker on and off. When I record video or take pictures the flash doesn't work. Has anyone experienced this issue?

just received my SGN, and I found that when i try recording there is no autofocus also in settings.
Does anyone have same problem?
Its normal. Auto focus is for camera not for video.

Hey, i'm using lgcamera to record videos with the 5830i (that way i can record 480p with quite nice quality). The only problem is that in lgcamera i can't turn on camera flash. Whenever i press that "lightning" button (which is the camera flash i think), just nothing happens and that button remains crossed, meaning it didnt turn on. Any suggestions? I've been looking for solutions everywhere.
I've been on vacation with my new s4 and I've noticed that half of my photos were at 1280x720 resolution on the main cam.
I've noticed it switched when I've accidentally switched to 2mp cam and switched back the resolution never came back to 8M.
Is there anything i can do on the camera app to make it remember proper resolution?
ps. Is there any way to silece the camera "shutter" sound?
I can't replicate your problem with resolution. Either I'm not following same route or it was fixed in MF5 that I'm running.
You can silence shutter sound by turning ringtown volume all the way down (off).

I't doesnt allways happen ill try to find proper steps to replicate this behaviour. As for volume it works as a zoom button and turning volume down prior to launching camera app does not elimitnate shutter of focus sounds .

There might be a solution for shutter sound. :fingers-crossed:Try installing Note 2 (sic) Hidden Settings (it works on my S4 Active i9295). There are many useful settings. One of them is "Add shutter sound menu" which adds item to settings menu in camera to turn it on an off. And there is also "CAMERA SHUTTER SOUND" which directly turns sound on and off.
when i switch to the front camera it freezes.
The camera then becomes useless. I can't use it at all.
Anyone else have this issue?
Everytime I turn the camera on you can hear and see the lens open and close and you can hear the sound from it.. is this normal is anyone else experiencing this??
Yes its OIS and the aperture working.
Go to a dslr camera store and turn on a camera with IBIS. You will hear the same thing.
