Over the air (OTA) update is not working for you? Where did you get the update.zip from?

I got it directly from the phone update.
I doubt it's for TWRP. But I'm not sure.
The official update makes use of the folder /dload on the Sd-card. And in this folder there are 2 apps: UPDATE.APP.asc and UPDATE.APP <--- the update itself, about 2GB
In the settings menu you can scroll down to Updates, and the choose Local Update

Why? The OTA update doesn't do that. Apps and settings are all kept. But it's always recommended to make a backup. I believe the update app will tell you that also.

I upgraded manually and I lost all my data.Second time I made backup but restoring data( in my case) from previous ROM to new ROM was only causing problems with some app-s ( fc,crush..)

@ tonymarsu
To me sems that you are trying flash official ROM with custom recovery( TWRP) .You must flash again stock recover.img, extract that update from zip, copy dload folder to sd card and than follow steps from @ Mwolthuis from post # 4.

"FC and crush" are a sign for a unclean installation of a Rom. Everytime i had this - only a full wipe was the soulution.

Italy.
I've got OTA update over the B609 that I downloaded on this forum.
Anyway, I managed to do a system dump ("adb pull /system"). Can this be useful?
In Czech republic nothing
No in Morocco
Someone has found a link for the ROM؟
I am currently working on a ROM device b613

If you download the OTA, would be on local-interno-dload_ota
you need to copy the update.zip to external sdcard and later upload to mega and give us the link[emoji1] [emoji1]

Uhmmmm....i think that once i installed it, the updater deleted the file. There is no file anymore. Maybe if I re-flash B609, then I can save the ota file BEFORE installing it...

Yes, it's necessary to copy it to sd before installed, but don't get back, we can wait to other Italy user who make the copy before install it.

In Spain neither, It seems that it's only in Italy
It seems that the update B615 comes to those who have the sim 3 in the phone (3 ITA). Resolves roaming problems when you are not under cover 3.
Bit the bullet and bought this for everyone.
I am not responsible for anything that happens as a result of flashing any of these files or your own actions.
If someone has access to put up mirrors it won't last long on my Gdrive.
Instructions:
1. Download file and unzip. There will be 4 files.
2. Open Odin and place BL, AP, CP, and CSC files in Odin into their respective places
3. Click Start and wait until you see Pass!
Your phone will reboot and you will be back to stock.
Use Odin 3.12.03
Thanks for the mirror @DevVorteX

I'm almost done downloading, Right when it finishes I'll post it up to AFH and add a link here.
Here's the folder link with the 4 files on AFH. I zipped each one individually for easier download:

AP file is finished now.
I flashed it last night and then to the new nougat. Did not work with prince cosmey but worked on standard Odin.

On the phone, the update.zip file is stored somewhere in /cache, but it is not accessible or readable unless you are rooted.
I was able to get these files directly from the Google servers where Nokia 5 OTAs are downloaded from on the phone.

SINGLE SIM VARIANT LYA-L09
This url I managed to grab from hisuite as it downloaded. I have a zip that I can also upload if anyone would like it.
Currently I tried putting the .zip into my Internal SD card under directory 'Dload' but a check for updates did not trigger an update. I reckon we could probably glean some more information on the OS from the image.
I will try and grab new updates as we get them, and others could upload updates they receive before me!
EDIT:
Kudos to speedyjay for finding out that we need to put the zip into the Huaweisystem folder on the root of the drive.

Mine is Dual SIM and I got the update yesterday on OTA. It just takes a little patience.
I also don’t seem to be able to do the update. Zip folder is in internal storage - Huawei system. I have tried recovery mode, normal settings update and the *#*#2846579#*#* menu which shows no memory card. When searching as this is the only option
i read somewhere that if u force flash the phone with another region's firmware it changes region to C900 which cannot receive OTAs........ hmmm
