My moto g6 says that there is no sim card inside of it. I recently flashed to stock rom from a custom rom and that's when it couldn't detect my sim card anymore. I have tried flashing all of the stock files onto my phone which did not fix my problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Just out of curiosity what is the model number of your Moto G6 ?
XT1625 is my model number.
I have a moto g6 with the model number XT1625. I flashed TWRP onto it and downloaded lineage os onto it and then rooted it. Everything worked fine until the screen started flashing weird colors. After this I flashed the stock os and when my phone booted up it said, "If you have a sim card, please plug it in now." My screen problem was fixed so I deduced that it was just my custom OS having issues. I got really worried about the sim card and checked if it had an IMEI number by typing a code into the dialer and it displayed the device ID but no IMEI. When I booted into fastboot mode it also said "baseband not found." This is what fastboot mode displays:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (Secure)
BL: MBM-2.1-ali_retail-e4c1135-190329
Baseband: <not found>
Product/Variant: ali XT1925-6 32GB PVT2
Serial Number: (won't display this)
CPU: SDM450
eMMC: 32GB SAMSUNG GX6BMB RV=08 PV=03 FV=0000000000000003
DRAM: 3GB SAMSUNG LP3 DIE=8Gb M5=01 M6=06 M7=00 M8=5F
Console [NULL]: null
Tools Mode Config: DISABLED
Battery OK
flashing_unlocked
Connect USB Data Cable
I think that this might have to do with a corrupt EFS but I am not sure. I have looked this up plenty but can only find outdated videos that do not fix my problem. If anybody can think of a solution I would REALLY REALLY appreciate it because I would very much like to text and call.

Try to use the rom from the link I posted here and the flash instructions without the extra stuff which is for lineage and see if that doesn't help.
Thanks but when I tried that it didn't help my problem...

Hi all,
I got a Moto G (2014) XT1068 phone which has dual sim slots and although cards are detected in both slot gets no network.
According to the receipt it was bought at a retailer and should be unlocked - repair from manufacturer was refused because the phone had been altered. So currently I can try to recover the network service on my own ...
The phone has an unlocked bootloader and a custom rom installed named TP 1.1.0 retde
Android: Android 5.0.2
Baseband: MSM8626BP_1032.3105.93.00R EMEA_DSDS_CUST
Kernel: 3.4.42-StellarKernel_RC_2.1-*
System: TP 1.,1.0 retde
Build: LXR22G
Since I did not make the modification I guess the ROM does not support dual sim mode.
I so far flashed the current TWRP 2.8.6.0 to have a custom recovery that should work with lollipop.
I also flashed the bootloader for the XT1068 model in case that got corrupted.
So far nothing helped and I am currently downloading the 5.0.2 stock ROM for dual sim phones:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/official-stock-firmware-t3018682
Is there anything else that might be wrong to prevent the phone from using the gsm network after the sim got detected ?
Do yo have the correct APN settings
I was having problems with my sim card not being recognized, then i tried flashing modeom files for the XT1068 version, but I didn't know if my phone version wat this one. Then I flashed this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/help/solved-brlost-signal-fastboot-erase-t3162580 What happened is that my phone is now showing IMEI 0 and says Emergency only on the sim card slot. I don't have a partition backup, and I think I've messed up my IMEI.
Can anybody help me to get my connection back? I think my phone is a Brazilian XT1068. I really need the XT1068 modem fies to try, I'm out of home, and I can't download the full firmware! It would help me if someone could send the XT1068 modem files.
More Info: fastboot getvar all shows corrext IMEI
Flashed xt1068 and xt1069 5.0.2 factory images and nothing happened.
Tried restoring TWRP backup of my PDS partition (backed it up before the issues) and nothing.
I think I'm going to send it to motorola... Can they solve this kind of issue?
Sent from my XT1069 using XDA Forums
hey try flashing modem files of XT1069 because and bro, you have to flash the firmware soemtime or the other
HI, I'm confused here and I need some help.
Basically i bought a brand new S5 sealed phone in the box sold as a G900F
The box says model: SM-G900
behind the battery the phone says SM-G900F.
phone works fine, in settings about device. it says model number is SM-G900F
android version 5.0
firmware version G900FZHU1BOK2
now ive had s2,s3,s4, before this, all rooted plenty of custom roms.
my problems started when i tried to flash a custom recovery. and it came up with the error message:
System software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone.
When im in download mode it says:
Product name: SM-G900A
current binary: custom
system status:custom
reactivation lock: off
knox warranty void 0x0
qualcomm secureboot: enable (csb)
rp swrev: s1, t2, r1, a4, p1
secure download: enable
udc start
how can I have a 900f phone with some sort of 900a locked boot loader installed???
is there anyway I can update this phone. or use roms. Ive tried a lot of different methods but they all seem pretty old and not working for me.
I really need some help this is a brand new phone and its annoying me.

Try to flash with odin latest firmware for AT&T version available here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=312968873555011029
Also when you put phone in download mode check if FRP Lock or Reactivation Lock is on or off, in order to be able to flash must be off. Good luck

Hi everyone.
I bough a 2nd hand Moto X for testing some apps. The seller give me a phone that has IMEI 0, IMEI SV 00 with android 4.4 Kitkat that can make/receive phone call normally (rom for Brazil but back cover of phone is Verizon ???). I tried to flash some roms included CM-12, Stock flashable that get from XDA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/development/xt1053-retail-stock-lollipop-flashable-t3155843) and I flash successfull. But when tried Android 5 rom I have issue with speaker phone so I decided to flash original rom from Motorola. I wipe everything and forget to save old rom so I can't make my phone work with SIM card.
My rom info:
- rom: debloated XT1058_RETBR_5.1_LPAS23.12-21.7-1_D (from XDA)
- modem: XT1058_RETBR_5.1_LPAS23.12-21.7-1 (from XDA)
- Network status: No sim card, no service
- Serial number: T063203ZV6
- IMEI: fake with value calculated from sim tray. I use IMEI changer - Xposed to set IMEI
- SIM provider: Mobifone - Vietnam
Did I use wrong modem firmware ? How to fix it ?
Thank you for your attention.
Phong.

I had issues after I semi bricked my NZ P9+ phone.
I used DC Phoenix to "unbrick" it using method two of DC Phoenix tutorial. I then used DCU to change the vendor and country.
Im now running Android M C432B181, at least that's what the phones status is reporting.
However if i use DCU to read the phones info it states its running C900 kernel. See below.
Im trying to install VIE-L09C432B360 via SD and ive attempted the OTA proxy method. I get a message "PT Failed. Are you sure you want to continue?" What does this mean?
Also if i say yes to continuing It reboots and starts the install however it gets to about 37% then fails.
Any ideas ????

Also to note Themes wouldn't work. I've started again.
I've used fastboot to flash the EU OEM partition. Copied the oeminfo file to the same path as fastboot and I entered the command "Flashboot oeminfo oeminfo". I used DC Unlocked to set the vender to hw and the country to eu.
I've then used DC Phenix to flash the factory firmware as in the tutorial.
I've then used the SD Card method to install C432b103
Once installed checked updates on the phone.
Installed b161 and b170 using the factory OTA method.
Themes work now but it's not finding any updates since b170.
Using *#*#2846579#*#* I see that it reports that it is still using C900 kernel.
Hello all,
Recently purchased a P9 Plus with this firmware loaded (VIE-AL10C00B390). Having trouble with all the preloaded chinese settings and not being able to use google apps. Also, unable to find a global firmware for VIE-AL10. Any help would be greatly appreciated
