I decided I wanted a new, different watch face. Tried downloading one app to get one and the app showed on my phone but didn't show up on the watch. Thinking that the app was the problem I tried another one, same thing. I ended up factory resetting the watch, uninstalling and reinstalling wear os, and then when trying to add my apps back, realised that NONE of them are showing up on the watch. I am getting text notifications, but no apps.

I have started to have this problem and because I'm quite pedantic it's rather annoying me.
I've been using chompsms since I had the T-Mobile G1 and never had a problem with it, but in the last few days the native messaging app has just decided to start pushing notifications again even though notifications are turned off. While it's nothing major, it's bloody annoying!!!
I've tried numerous roms, it's the same in every one, I've tried freezing the native messaging app in titanium and then I didn't receive any messages at all. I've even tried a different messaging app and still the same. I know it doesn't really effect anything apart from my sanity. Has anyone come across anything like this before cos if I don't work this out soon, I'm gonna have pulled all my hair out lol
Uggh.. Might have to stop wearing this thing because I cannot figure this out. Everyday, it seems like my Gear will randomly stop giving notifications. Everything is setup correctly and the check boxes are marked and everything. If I toggle bluetooth or reset the gear, the notification comes right through. Ive tried completely resetting the Gear and even doing a factory reset on my Note 3. No luck.
Any ideas on what could cause this? Im all stock.
I have this same problem. I've read other places that if your phone screen is on when the notification arrives, it won't send it to your phone. But even if that is true, it still seems inconsistent at times. It is frustrating...

Yup. If the phone screen is on the notification wont come through. When you turn the screen off, the notification should come through on the watch. That makes sense.
But you said, it's frustrating when it flat out misses notifications..
Yea, noticed I was missing some Gmail notifications today and rebooted the gear and all started working properly again. Makes no sense.
Yep, this is happeing to mine as well. My watch will be quite for a while and ill pick up my phone and boom, i have 3 texts and an email and my watch did nothing. screen was off and the icon that says gear is connected is there as well.
yeah started noticing this after Gear Manager updated itself to the white version (1.7)
This happened to me few times, but I've made a habit by disconnecting and reconnecting it to gear manager on every morning when I start to wear it.
This has been driving me up the wall. It happens almost daily. I'll be using the phone doing various different things and I will get a pop-up that says "Unfortunately clock has stopped". I hit ok and it goes away but within seconds, it pops back up again. This will continue until I reboot the phone. I've tried clearing cache on the app and in the storage menu but it's continuing to happen. Any Ideas?
It seems to be if you have alarms set. Mine does the same thing. Even full restore didn't fix it. Using timely for my alarms does. Unfortunate to have to use a different app.
Try this, it fixed my "unfortunately clock has stopped" issue

I too experienced the issue "unfortunately, clock has stopped" after updating my phone to Lollipop. I called Verizon and they told me to do a factory restore, which I did. The issue still persisted.
I just called Verizon Wireless tech support back. The guy had seen this problem once before and found a fix for it. I haven't seen this fix posted on any website, but it worked immediately. Please let me know if this works for you
Go to Settings--Date and Time--Select Date Format, and then choose a date format. Once I picked 'regional' the clock worked without the error "unfortunately, clock has stopped"
I tried clearing cache and doing a factory reset, and it didn't work. You don't have to do this if this if selecting a date format works. Please comment and let me know if this helped you. I'm curious if this will work across the board. Maybe even for phones other than Samsung Galaxy S4. I'm stoked!
I get it for YouTube all the time. For example, open a wallpaper app or something "YouTube has stopped" - could be anything, and this is days without using YouTube.
Weird.

After just using timely for alarms I stopped having the clock issues and have been getting the youtube and internet doing it now. If its not one thing its another. I wonder if its just my phone at this point.
I've tried several different apps to no avail. I had an LG G watch before this one so I'm pretty familiar with using a wearable. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both android wear and the apps. I've tried factory resetting the watch twice. I'm stumped. I was worried it was a conflict with my previous watch because when I tried my favorite watch face app, it still detected my old watch at first. I Uninstalled and made sure to clear data and cache but nothing. And I've tried several face apps since then to make sure it wasn't an issue with that app specifically. Please help
I've had the ZW3 since it came out. Never gave me a lick of trouble. Recently I got a Note 8. Now many of the apps that I have on my phone (Cerberus, Photo Watchface) just never show up as apps on the watch. I've done the usual things to fix this: Factory reset the watch. Delete the apps from my phone and reinstall them. I even went so far as to do a factory reset on my Note 8 (and watch) to get a fresh start. But, for some reason these apps never show up on the watch as they did with previous phones.
I'm pulling my hair out. What do I do next?
I had the exact same problem when I got my Note 8.
I finally got the apps to install by opening the playstore on the watch & installing the apps directly to the watch.

Thanks. That worked for Photo Watch but it doesn't work for Cerberus since there's no Cerberus app in the watch app store. I know Cerberus works with Android 2.0 as it worked on my S8+. I just can't get Cerberus to recognize the watch on the Note 8.
