Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.
And lastly, this is first and foremost a ROM about Nexus 5 (hammerhead). This is my personal device, this is where I test the ROM. angler, bullhead, flo, mako, shamu builds are provided AS-IS, and bugs/missing stuff/features especially for them will be put on the lowest priority and will depend on my free time. I will only guarantee the nexus 5 ROM and its abilities.

Official/Unofficial is my way of saying "I build it/I don't build it". My humble PC is already building too many devices, that's why I don't think I can build this one, too. @nazmul.rr will have to build the source as is though, so it should be the same.

Layers manager isn't showing up on this build, I did enable it in Development settings. Would logs help??

Layers manager shouldn't be part of it. You should download it. What you enabled should show it only when it's installed. You are right, I should add a guard to it (search for installed app first, then show that switch).

ROM is not rooted by design. You flash your own SuperSU. Checkout the ROMs FAQ. Regarding mobile data, maybe you need to set your correct APNs or is it something @nazmul.rr should fix.

Since my first trial here on xda building omnirom went successful at least for me so i got motivated to build another rom that has more customization but not based on CM i came across lots of rom and settled to DU, after spending many hours building the device trees and fixing build errors it finally built successfully . i've tested the rom for quite some time and i'm very happy with the customization it offers, lets cut the chase and begin.
About DU
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

First of all its based on aosp (omnirom) to be specific. I didn't try phone calling, camera works like aosp as it depends on sony blobs we can't do anything about it.
It has more issues than omnirom keep in mind that its the first alpha build

These are the bugs that i faced after trying the ROM-
1. Can't make phone calls at all..
If i dial a number,For example-1212..
Call screen says-"Dialing..."
And then nothing happens,it just stays like that...Even when i try to cut the call by pressing the red button,it says-"Hanging Up..." and it just stays like that...Nothing happens.I tried force closing and disabling and re-enabling the phone app but still the bug persists.The app just starts from where i force stopped it before.I mean the "1212" call i tried to make is still there when i re-enable and open the phone app.The only way i was able to cut that call was to restart my device.
2. The camera app was buggy too .I tried capturing some photos with the front camera,it worked and when i tried to swap to the rear cam,It doesn't swap or gives me a black screen.Sometimes,the capture button doesn't work at all...
Thanks to SolohunteR bro for his work..I hope these bugs get fixed soon ! :fingers-crossed:

Multirom does work, but it has to flash the secondary rom kernel every time you boot (at least to my understanding). Check out some of @Myself5's recent posts (it will give you a rough idea of how it works and how can use it!).

Yep. I read about the kexec workaround thing and that we shouldn't boot the secondary ROM too much. I meant to say I'll try this when I have time to do it.

Yh, I have heard it could very possibly damage the storage device for the boot.IMG and render your device useless as it continuously would have to flash the secondary boot.IMG whenever you want to boot a secondary ROM (that is until there is a permanent fix for kexec). I am glad to know that more people are finding out about multirom as it is simply one of the coolest most functional mods I have ever used:victory:, and I greatly appreciate the contribution that @Myself5 and @Diewi have made to port multirom to our device!:laugh:

Frontal flash working??

Camera is bad, does not sync focus with flash in any camera app. I dont know how to vive you the logcat.
Other bug, recent paneles, pie, does not show clear all icon when you try to close them all, evento with on.
Open camera with camera2 API option on, works.

The rum is great thank you for your efforts but about the problem in the popup notes I do not know maybe because of the language please fix

Prerequisites
You should be using the most current factory image from Google (crosshatch).
You need to follow this guide to unlock your bootloader and install TWRP (3.2.3-2 or above required)
--
First time installation :
1. Boot to TWRP
2. Wipe/Advanced Wipe : Dalvik / ART Cache, System and Data (all but not internal storage)
3. Flash the ROM zip
4. Flash the TWRP install zip (in order to keep TWRP after reboot)
5. Reboot to System (You'll see "No OS Installed", this is normal, don't worry)
6. Enjoy the DU ROM.
If you want root, you need to setup your device first, then boot back to TWRP and flash magisk (the link is above in Downloads section)
If you want to update your bootloader, for whatever reason, you can do so after you have the device up and running.
Updating :
Don't forget to remove any Substraum overlays before updating
1. Reboot to TWRP
2. Flash the ROM zip
3. Flash the TWRP install zip (in order to keep TWRP after reboot)
If you are not rooted, you just have to reboot system
If you are rooted using Magisk:
-> Reboot to recovery (TWRP)
-> Flash Magisk zip
-> Reboot system

You should respect the wishes of the DU developers since we are doing all the work and not post here. If it wasn't for us there would be no roms for the pixel 3. I will not be releasing or pushing anything to github until this is shut down.

I cant charge while playing game, is there any solution of this?
Or this jus the Rom features?

I installed this ROM and it looks very good, its fast and still +-16hr battery left

It couldn't charge because your phone is heating (This due to playing games will make your phone heat faster, specially on 9810 + charging).

Hi, is it possible to use it with Samsung's proprietary apps (Health, Wear, Wallet..) and is it also possible to use device encryption?
Is it necessary to repartition the memory?

1. Samsung proprietary apps will never work.
2. The ROM is encrypted by default.
3. You will just need to change your /data partition into f2fs, no need to repartition anything.

I have a question. For public transport we have 9292 app in netherlands to buy a ticket for bus, train etc. But it won't generate a QR code, and this should for proof of payment for public transport. Can i bypass this to make the app think its not a ROM? Its not even rooted. P.s. its not a ROM-issue, had this in the past as well. Any idea? Thanks

This might be achieved with Magisk, which bring the question, is there a way to install it in this ROM? anybody have done it? Android 13 doesn't play along with Magisk AFAIK, also, does anybody have some feedback about the Bluetooth experience with this ROM? specially during calls and pairing devices (smartwatches, etc)

Magisk can be installed on this ROM. I highly recommend v25.2 stable, not the v25210 since it may cause some bugs.
And about bluetooth bug, it still there. Let's wait for a fix from Google.

i installed this and now my s9 is bootlooping, and the ofox links are dead

Question can I have the 3-button navbar or can't I find it?

Oops : I can't connect using BT LE, any fix ?

EDIT : in fact it's only my watch I can't connect, my Shokz headset works.
