Hi,
I've tried looking in tasker but cannot find the mobile hotspot toggle state. Does anyone know how to enable both? My car has an android head unit and requires data and Bluetooth connection.
I'm going to point you to a tasker forum thread that should cover the bases for you: Launching hotspot when paired with car bluetooth

I have paired this and it works perfectly if you manually connect to the Serial Port (COM2) but I would like to launch bluetooth and it automatically connect if it is available.
Is this possible on the widcom stack without a mortscript.
Thanks,
Bluetooth won't know it's in range unless Bluetooth is turned on!
If bluetooth is turned on, it'll automatically connect anyway.
I've got a bluetooth FM transmitter for the car, and what I do is use G-Profile to turn on Bluetooth if the phone is on external power (when I connect it to my car charger). Works well, and would do the trick for what you want, I imagine.

Where did you get this from? I want one!
So,
The setup in my car is this, Pioneer Appradio 2 with Justop K10A HDMI stick connected in the rear with ARUnchaned loaded for touch screen control via Bluetooth.
The problem: ARUnchaned doesn’t seem to auto connect once the app has started, restart Bluetooth with the app running and then it auto connects and functions fine.
The Question: Would I be able to use tasker to restart Bluetooth once ARUnchaned is up and running? And how would I go about it? (I am currently using a wireless mouse to manually restart Bluetooth, not ideal in the car)
I've never been into developing/tweaking so this is completely new to me, any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. :good:
I have a rooted XT1052 which is used solely as an in car OBD2 reader and WiFi hotspot (for my Android car stereo head unit). It seems to have a problem whereby sometimes when the WiFi hotspot is activated, it repeatedly turns on and off the WiFi hotspot. The only way to get it to work is to reboot the phone.
Here's a video showing the fault:
Any ideas how to fix?
Hello,
I would like to know how can I answer a GSM call on a second phone ( AA connected w/o SIM) arrived from a primary phone with SIM using Bluetooth or WiFi hotspot made from the primary phone.
Phone A with SIM no AA connection
Phone B w/o SIM and connect to phone A via Bluetooth and/or WiFi hotspot.
I can find application tha make this possible using Windows, smartwatch, iPhone... But not with android..
Phone A oppo reno 2z android 11
Phone B honor 9 with AA mirror, connected AA and using phone A WiFi hotspot.
Thx.
Ps. Sorry for bad English..
Phone A should be connected to the car's bluetooth and phone B should not be connected to the car's bluetooth. That way you could use the hands-free.
Can't do that. If you connect a cable via USB to AA you can't use Bluetooth for voice call. But today, after a lot of days I find a way to bypass the problem, now I can use my first phone to call/receive call using the car and my second rooted phone with AA to watch Netflix, use Spotify and so on. If someone is interested I can post my car/phone configuration
I wondered if any of the tasker expers could advise a way around an issue I have.
I have 2 cars, both with bluetooth conected to my Pixel 6.
I also have a Garmin watch connected via bluetooth used for alerts etc.
Since I've started working from home, I have an issue which is drivng me crazy. If my wife goes out or return in either of the cars, but phone will connect to the car outside whilst I'm in the middle of a call.
I could just turn off bluetooth, but then I'd lose connectivity to my watch.
What I really want is the ability to enable/disable individual bluetooth devices based on my location. So if at home, the cars are disabled, if away from home (i.e. driving) they are enabled. However bluetooth seems to be all or nothing.
I could forget the connections, and re-pair whilst out in the car, but thats a pain.
So I wonder if even if tasker cannot disable individual connections, maybe it can change the settings of those connections. If I go into the car setting, I have 3 toggles which can be set off/on. Phone Calls, Media Audio, Contact Sharing.
Is it possible for tasker to change these settings on an individual bluetooth device based on location? So basically, if I'm home, disable phone calls and media audio on my cars.
And if this is possible, what is the best event trigger? Presumably GPS is one way. I also have wifi at home, but dont use it on my phone (4g is quicker and more reliable)
Can tasker scan for wifi networks and use as a trigger without actually connecting to wifi? Are there any other ways of detecting I have left home?
And if Tasker cannot do this, any ideas how to get around this issue outside of tasker?
Thanks in Advance.
