After 2 days with a first single charge I got over 10 hours of screen on time with MIUI. Not bad
Single charge on AOSP + MicroG gave me nearly 4 days and over 9hours SOT
Decided to let it drain all the way. I got over 3 days battery time and over 13 hours SOT. Quite impressed with this AOSP rom and the battery's phone.
Just got this device for my mother. She is a basic phone user, who would spend most of her time on calls, social or online shopping apps along with reading stuff & camera usage.
Running stock MiUi based manufacturer given ROM & it's giving amazing battery backup.
Device Age :- Less than a weak
Device Spec :- 2/16 GB
ROM :- MiUi 10.2.7
Root :- No
Bootloader :- Locked (Stock phone)
Network :- Single SIM (AirTel India VoLTE)
WiFi :- 2.4 GHz home usage.
About 10 hours- 10% per hour. Which is pretty good. A lot will change with the ultra mode which is to appear in the new miui.
i would say battery life is pretty good
battery life
battery life is verry good. i can use it.allday ,i will try mobile legends to test its capacity. its ok to use 12 watts charger in this device thank you for your answer...
Hello,
My SOT is only about 2hrs :/ brand new phone, tested with:
- MIUI 10 (10.2.5)
- MIUI 11 (11.0.18)
The most power consuming thing I found is "Android System" it took about 70% of all my battery is it normal ?
------------------------------- solved ------------------------------------------------
OK I solved it, used "Debloater by The4Anoni"
link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/and...anoni-t3879739
And now my 7a consumes aboud 15% battery per day
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My battery life is 1-2 days, SoT 10-14h.

When I was on the first preview of android m, I would get about 4 hours of SOT, which was about the same amount of SOT that I would get on lollipop. But now that I did a clean flash of the second android m preview, I only get about 1.5 hours of SOT. Anyone else having terrible battery life or is it just me? Any solutions?
I'm on preview 2 for about 4 days now. I'm still getting over 4hrs sot. No issues here. Running ex kernel
I'm on stock M2 Preview with fresh install. Getting terrible battery, about 1.5-2 hr SOT. I don't game or watch much videos. I'm on wifi 95% of the time. Battery stats shows Wifi 50%+. I have no clue what's causing this. On M1 Preview, I would get about 3 hrs SOT.
Most likely its due to there being a bug with how the battery is being reported. Many users here on xda have seen this issue. Phone will literally run for hours with 1% battery life.
Have any of you actually ran the phone down and used it normally?
I have the issue and got well over 4 hrs SOT, my batter was at 1% for approx. 5 hours before the phone actually shut off.
See the last few pages of THIS thread for some of the discussion.
Also added the last screen shot I took before I fell asleep waiting for it to die...
When you sleep, does your phone sleep, or does it stay up all night and crunch 1s and 0s? Rate this thread to express how you deem the speed at which the Huawei P8lite's battery drains under standby conditions. A higher rating indicates that when the phone is not in use, the battery drains minimally.

Pretty much stays up. Drains about 15% /8h overnight. B603 firmware.
Hi,
After the upgrade some 4-6 weeks back to EMUI 4.0.3
Android Version: 6.0
Build Number: ALE-L21C185B574
The battery is draining so fast than i need to charge every 12 hours approx. Before the upgrade, battery life is around 21-22 hours.
Another issue, phone is heating up fast while charging or in use
hi
i am on omni rom 7.1.2 thanks to the developpers i had an issue with battery life 3 months after ( my P8 lite is more than 2 years old)
battery decreasing in 12 hours
i ordered and install a new battery ( the same as original) but i still have the same problem.
i'm asking myself and maybe other users , developpers , is there something in the boot rom to program the phone to drain battery after 2 years ? ( as apple did)

83% battery usage from display even on dim settings
Ok, but how many hours? Display having the most consumption is IDEAL!

Sorry to your 3t SOT jealous. It's stunning from me because that's my own cycle of daily using a phone. Not like someone who can only tell a cycle by 100%--10%
proudly sharing my battery usage statics. During this time I have updated and installed lots of apps with torrents download

Now had my first Cycle. For that big screen it's more than good. In Comparison to Op5 and Nexus 6p you can see the difference Qhd on Nexus to FullHD on Op5 a day FullHD+ on Op5t. For all the people who want more Resolution inxmy opinion FullHD+ is best choice because it needs less battery and I can not see any Pixels on that great Samsung panels
I got 6 and 51 minutes SOT
24hrs later after first charge from yesterday.
6hrs SOT seems easy target from me. I Will try get some game play for heavy duty test in this weekend.
First full day of use, quite impressed!
I request the OP to edit his first post and tell the users to charge phone till 100% and let it discharge under 10% before posting SOTs without charging in between for the most accurate result.
I had the pleasure of using the OP5 before getting the OP5T and i feel OP5 battery drain was lesser as compared to the T. This is not to say that OP5T has a bad battery life but i was able to get 7.5-8 hrs on OP5 on moderate use with 5-8% remaining. On the T i get around 6-6.5 hrs which is decent. Maybe after a few cycles it might improve.
Awesome battery life guys
Typical usage day, 2.5 hours of YouTube and some video calls, chatting etc. OnePlus 3 I got 3 to 3.5 sot max (freedomOS and bluespark). WiFi and 4G.
I like this, never had even near 6 hours in any phone.
Happy but I think a custom rom will get more.

Easy answer: smaller Screen means less power consumption. Amoled 5.5 inch vs 6
Wait for updates they will improve bugs for more battery life I think.
First full charge and then this, transferred and installed lot of applications, watched a lot of videos. This is pretty amazing, love it
Loving the battery life. This is my first discharge cycle and it's double the sot as my old nexus 5x.
Amazing battery life
After my first charge to 100% this has been my battery life

for my g6 h870 battery life is baaaaaaad, unless I'm running on android 7,14 (fulmics from) then the battery life is amazing. but on newer android versions like 8,9 and 10 screen time is up to 2 to 3 hours with a brand new battery, with old battery I was getting 1 and half hour of screen time. so my tip to you is to try fulmics rom, ofcourse a lot less functionality, but battery life should be very good

My h870's battery life is miles better than u said urs was on android 10. i finish the day with around 20% and start with 90%. And my g6 is 3 yrs old. Your phone might not b working correctly

yeah, when i checked on battery consumption, it shows me that "Phone idle" uses around 50% of the battery. Ive tried many different fixes but none of them worked. This phone idle thing followed me almost on every single rom I install.
Yesterday I installed xtended xq (android 10) rom, and the battery life is back to normal.

Battery life is very good if compared to what I've had before(aquarios 8.1), UI is smooth, lots of functionality. i cant compare it to havoc os, its been long time since I've had it. but I've read in comments to that rom that its generally better than havoc.

On my g6 I get pretty good battery life too, around 4-5 hours sot, using havoc 3.8. I don't use things like aod or ambient display. Smart charging should be disabled. Even if I set 'stop trigger level' to 99%, I get much worse battery life. The phone is around 2 years old.
G6 H870 noticed if I charge battery to 85 % or 95% I get bad battery life. If I charge to 100 % I get good battery life. On Stock and Custom. I think something wrong with battery calibration.
Is somebody else experiencing it?
Hi, I have purchased a new Redmi note 10 pro but the battery seems to be draining relatively fast. I am on MiUi 13.0.3.0 update. There are some screenshots attached of the battery page. Also I was able to find the Actual Battery Capacity: 4997 mah. Can anyone please confirm that this is normal or not?
What is the over night battery drain percentage? And how much screen on time do you get in one full charge (100%-0%).
I bought a new device 4 days back. I'm on the latest miui 13. I checked on accubattery and saw the actual capacity to be 4700 but that app has been notorious for incorrect measurements.
1. I'd like to know what app you are using to get the actual capacity
2. I can't say how much your drain is from the SS. I can tell my experience. Im getting around 7-8 SOT % with 120hz. Overnight drain is under 3-4% max. I have debloated the OS as well so that might help as well.

Over night battery dain is 2-3% at Max I have manually disabled apps from running in the background. As of the SOT I am getting around 7-8 hrs (100%-10%) 120HZ
