Hi mate. I’m in the UK too and ordered it from Giztop. I ordered the 512GB model and it came to roughly £930 with shipping and 2 free gifts - the Aero Cooler and the official case. Pretty expensive but I doubt the phone will actually launch in the UK on 4th September as earlier mentioned so I can’t be bothered to wait another month.
You can also try out Aliexpress or Liaow. Both have it in stock and sometimes there are ones on eBay too.
Cheers.

I'm really curious how much the real global variant is going to cost.
I was considering the 512GB version from giztop and enjoying the global ROM they would load, but I don't mind waiting another few weeks for the official one with a locked bootloader so I can get OTA's and what not.

Who bought Asus ROG Phone II/Elite version 12GB/512GB from Aliexpress
Hello Everyone,
I'm Thinking to buy this as there is no global version yet here in USA, I was hoping some one might have bought this version.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000128227373.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.59e83c00ixRC7Z&mp=1
if anyone have bought this version, can you share the ROM version whether its WW or CN,TW. I know this isn't much of a big deal for some.
any suggestions or screen shots will be helpful.
Also i've consideration to go with Tencent Edition, but wanted to get the highest spec one.
Thanks

I personally think you're crazy if you pay almost double the price for that upgrade. The RAM you won't need and to pay $400 more for the storage is nuts. Get the 128GB version and save yourself some money

You do make sense, but honestly Its not big of deal for me as i bought Note 9 last year for the same price, i have been a sam/apple guy for years. I know 900~1000 $ for a phone sounds ludicrous for many. That's where the high spec phone NA market exists.
The Tencent edition is promising as its 545USD in ebay, but there is a lot of discussions regarding 4G bands not supported, so i was skeptical with thought.
my only confusion is aliexpress selling global version WW(Elite Version) 12GB/512GB or its Chinese Version or other.

According to giztop and many other sources, the 128GB version lacks important LTE bands.
Personally, it's worth it for the storage, but the bands can be very important.
I pre-ordered Tencent version 8gb 128gb from Banggood for 497€. Good price.
giztop is the best
ship very fast 12 days on italy
no taxes
paid with paypal a little bit more but high quality service
They sell the global model (ZS660KL-1A012EU) in some Asus stores like Belgium, Poland, Sweden but they don't send to other countries like Netherlands where i live.

Hi Everyone,
I found a link for Asus ROG II Global Variant - 12GB/512GB from Canada, for 987 CAD$ ~ 740 USD$, Its showing they ship to USA with EMS Canada for 65 CAD$, total of 1049CAD$ ~ 789USD$, surprisingly low considering Aliexpress & Giztop.
I'm not sure about any taxes it did not show up even in the payment page just 1049 CAD$ only PayPal as payment option.

Be careful from the looks of this it looks like the Chinese version with the global version flashed on-top. Why? Because in the specs it has 2x2mimo while the global should be 4x4mimo

I am a french citizen living in China for one year
I am dreaming to buy a Galaxy Note, but I can buy it only in China, is someone can tell me if it will work properly when I will come back to France ?
If not is there a possibility to change the system at this moment?
Sorry but I am a novice in this matter
Thank you in advance for your help
Yes as long as you buy the GSM version. Not sure if there is some CDMA weird version for the Chinese market.
Agreed, look for the GSM bandwidths, I think the EU's on 900 and 1800.

where are you folks planning to buy?
hey, I'm an American in Shanghai - I've been planning on buying one as well, but it seems the only choices are
a) buy a "brand-new" model, grey-market European version, 50% chance it's a refurb, but can offer local store warranty for ~3280rmb ($520 USD), or
b) buy an official, brand-new one for 4100rmb ($650 USD)
I almost pulled the trigger on the grey-market one, but it just kills me to know that I can get a brand-new NON-refurb for $500 USD through Newegg in the US... arrgh.

I bought mine on taobao from Shenzhen, 1 day shipping. I think that is safer than buyer from a store in shanghai, as the taobao sellers are selling loads of these phones.
Mine had been opened and made chinese even it is a european version. they changed some settings so you'll default to chinese language after a wipe/upgrade, and the samsung keyboard didn't work when I first good it. But after reinstalling european firmware everything is good.
I would stay away from official version because of price and I'm also not sure if all google services work on those.

yeah - the quote I had for ~3300 was from a taobao seller with a brick 'n mortar store. At least there's somewhere to go if the thing is borked. The "warranty" is through the store and not samsung, but at least they know where (taobao!) to source screens/mobo and claim to give 2 years replacement service should anything go wrong. still might pull the trigger on it... unless one of my friends goes back to the states in the next couple of weeks.
Did your seller offer any kind of warranty?

november 15, its been confirmed.
That seems like forever. Heard a rumor that the US is only getting the Pro variant.
Anyone has a list countries that will have Mate 10 for sale? So far it seems that only pro will be availabe in my country.
I have only found the launch countries..
At launch the Huawei Mate 10 64GB will launch late October in more than ten countries including Mexico, Spain and the UAE.
In mid-November the Mate 10 Pro will launch in more than two dozen countries including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Ireland.
The ultra-premium Mate 10 Porsche Design edition will launch in Mid November 2017.

Has anyone used the hua wei phone? any suggestions ?
You can buy it here. Even the 6gb 128gb variant and choose international ROM.

I think people confused the "First wave" release countries and rumored that those not in the list will never get the pro model.
Also note that in first three month the re sellers from China will bloat the price of the phone very high. Not worth it.

Last year Mate 9 launch was global while Mate 9 pro was unveiled in China only later and released slowly in selected countries. However this time, both model were released together in an internationally arena in Europe and would be pointless if one model does not even release in huge chunk of the market. It makes sense they will release differently in different countries because of different demand and Huawei's ability to get the devices on time into the market.
Pretty sure ME and East Asian countries will get both models. Pro in UAE will release on mid November while the standard model already available for preorder and will be delivered from October 30 as i understand.
See Mate 10 preorder for UAE: http://consumer.huawei.com/ae-en/campaign/mate10-pre-order-en/
However US is altogether a different story as Huawei is still trying to make a big presence there while in other countries they are widely established.

Its already been pushed from 30.10 to 02.11, I guess to higher demand .. Strangest part is the price of mate 10 in UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi stores). Its "just" 530 EUR/626 USD (local currency AED 2,299).. I am not sure what am I missing there, but I know for a fact that they don't have VAT or that type of tax so that price is final. Maybe when its shipped outside it gets some sort of customs duty, but my friend will buy one like for his personal usage and bring it to me in mid November.. Maybe huawei is trying to conquer that market with a new mode with "cheaper than elsewhere" policy

No doubt tax is reason why prices are higher in Europe. The price in Malaysia is also similar to price in UAE. And they are almost similar to price in China.
The pro model is priced high even in China. The 6+64gb at 4489CNY and 6+128 at 5399CNY. So one can expect UAE price to be close to 2850AED and 3150AED. To be fair the Mate 9 pro was priced similarly but not sure if 150$ difference between the two is justified for getting an 18:9 FHD+ Amoled display, slightly sleeker build and smaller bezel, IP67 and 6gb ram. I like the Mate 10 pro (except for fp location) but still need convincing the price is worth it considering the drop in price for Samsung S8/S8+.

Hi
Visiting las vegas in a few weeks and considering buying a Note 8. I can order off Amazon.com (I have a US account) and thinking of getting shipped to a locker. Will be $798 for unlocked international version. 64gb version in black.
Or is there a cheaper alternate? I know if I buy instore I have to pay the local tax, but dont think I do if I order via Amazon as just checked before pressing the complete button and its Nil tax.
Any advice appreciated.
where are you travelling from?
US version is snapdragon and if you want root the exynos is the better option
I think it is wiser to get a device in your home country, in case of needing to claim warranty, it would be infinitely easier for you, besides, in USA only the little 64 gb snapdragon version is available, if you are interested about avoiding taxes, be aware that those taxes you would pay in your country at an official distribuitor will give peace of mind and warranty

yes that is Europe exynos dual sim model, have one here myself, if you bought in Europe you would have the 24 months warranty once registered with Samsung

In Europe we know there is only the 64 and 128 versions of this phone but there is also a Hong Kong version available with 8/256 which to me seems like a better option if you can get it. And also in Hong Kong this varient comes with a UK plug,

My question to anyone is ,Have they bought this one ?
Or do they know of anywhere where you could buy it factory sealed as it seams like a pretty sweet deal which would be worth getting.
Although Eglobal have a Fairly respectable reputation,I. Not sure if what they are listing is just a k20 pro

That's interesting. The global MIUI site does list the Mi 9T Pro with upto 8/256 GB, so in markets outside of Europe, and maybe Europe later, this is a genuine version. I'm not aware that it's been officially released yet outside of Europe, but maybe it will be in the next few days. Everything eGlobal say certainly points to it be genuine.

Pity, not available in Europe apart from possibly on eglobal.
Problem with eglobal is they have essentially copied the description and specs from their k20 pro listing and they include k20 pro in the title of the listing in brackets which could mean it is in fact a k20 pro with a global rom, although they do include band 20 in specs, but it is very hard to confidently buy from them. Their support is no good either , otherwise I would ask,but All they do is give out generic replies
Spotted it on Wanda mobile, though a bit more on the expensive side.

Just got mine from eBay a couple of days back... it is the Global version indeed. 490E + 8E EU shipping.
Ordered mine today from wonda mobile, £435 delivered to the UK.
Hoping for a nice upgrade from the Poco

In Europe we know there is only the 64 and 128 versions of this phone but there is also a Hong Kong version available with 8/256 which to me seems like a better option if you can get it. And also in Hong Kong this varient comes with a UK plug,
Currently only one site I know of seems to be selling this varient, eglobal:
https://www.eglobalcentral.eu/xiaomi-mi-9t-pro-8gb-256gb-dual-sim-redmi-k20-pro-carbon-black-1.html

I got it from eglobal UK but yeah, it came within the 9 days. It came Monday as I'm using it now. All is fine!
I'm planning to buy the SD 888 version but unfortunately it's not sold in europe.
I've heard of many people who import the phone from HK, China or US. But I can't find the right websites.
Can anyone help me with that? Maybe a tip for cheap sites or something would be so nice
If you know someone in the US or HK?
Wondamobile.com had the China Snapdragon model in stock last time I checked.
Wondamobile.com got mine there im from sweden.
Thanks guys! I thought maybe someone lives in US and could tell me a few of their shop names
Wondamobile is very expensive...so sad.
Got mine from eglobalcentraleu.com, but also checked Wondamobile and tradingshenzhen.com before taking the plunge.

Are you joking now? WondaMobile prices are less than what you have in your country of living! Also, the version you should go for is Hong Kong or Taiwan! The chinese one has no Google services for you.
If you don't like to deal with Wonda .. check out https://eu.etoren.com/
But i recommend Wonda because they have better service.
Another thing, why you are looking for Snapdragon variant? I had that (bought from Wonda) for about 3 months but i sold it and got the Exynos that is sold in Europe, i find the battery life a little better with Exynos than Snapdragon. The performance is the same, i felt that Exynos has more power sometimes than Snapdragon.
Don't forget that you get only 1 year warranty (it's not valid within Europe) when you buy any Snapdragon version, you need to return the phone to the store you bought it from and they fix it by themselves which means they don't send it further to Samsung workshop ... you have to pay for the shipment almost 50 USD... But with Exynos, you have 2 years warranty within EU and you don't need to ship it anywhere, just look for Samsung Workshop that is close to you and drop it off there.
A last thing also, you have to accept that some features may not work well if you import your phone from these asian countries or even from America. The same with the 3G/4G/5G networks, especially 5G, it is not supporting more than one band in Europe, so you will have to live with that if you want to go for Snapdragon variant.
