81 hz display mod - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions and Answers

Hi,
K20 pro got 81 hz display mod from our beloved xda guys.
Are we NOTE 8 guys getting any such mod? It will be awesome.
Thanks

I believe that the Note 8 only has a 60hz display. Overclocking the display would probably kill it.

Realme x2 pro 120hz?

guys, someone might be able to make a mod like overclocking the screen to 120Hz, forgive me if anyone decides it's stupid!)):скрещенные пальцы:
I dont know the details but isnt refresh rate a hardware thing?
Its a Display thing... 120hz will be possible if the Phone Supports it

Yeah. What I meant to say is realme x2 pro has 90hz screen so it cant be increased to 120 hz because it doesnt have the hardware to support it.

Well in theory the screen may support 120hz. But more likely doesn't. We cannot really know without an app that can push that on low level.

I think it could be possible, like Xiaomi mi 9t pro have a 81 Hz mod and it display it's 60hz
I wish someone do it <3
I also really wanted someone to make a 120Hz screen, but so far this is only a dream, but who knows maybe !!

I saw the app saying max touch samples/sec of 207 but it variates !
It's varies depending on speed.
Should be 240, according to most apps I have tried. Should be the same display/sensing assembly as the OP7T too, I believe.
Spec for spec OnePlus 7t and X2 pro screen are both identical including touch screen sensor... The only difference being colour calibration. Op7t warm and X2 pro cool and inturn colours look slightly different.
Edit sorry I know this was slightly off topic.
Edit: my X2 pro is polling around 230... Tested the mate 20 pro, honor view 20, honor 10 for comparison and all 3 poll around 170.
thanks you so much...

K20 pro 90hz mod

No, 90hz never worked, it will just go down lower than 60hz using this mod

Mi9 screen question about touch sampling rate

Hi there id like too know if this touchsamplingrate app is giving me the right info about the amount of hz the sampling rate is of mi9.
When i test the app it tells me my screen has 240 touch sampling rate. I do not want tpo believe this, so thats qhy i ask question.
App is called touch multitest. U can find on playstore. Its a little oudated so i dont trust it .
And i cant find a answer on internet about the amount hz the mi9 has.
Sorry for bad english tho
Thanks
Using this method and a couple of fast scrolling session I get the following data:
Max: 466
Min: 0
Avg: 168,00648508431
Median: 185
I guess you can trust the median, it's ~180Hz. Although when I stop and go, I often get around ~210Hz as well.
Nice. I did not test this method yet, because at the moment i do not have a pc.
Thanks for testing and the info since there is no info nor video on the internet testing the mi9 touch sampling rate.
I tested this app on poco f1 and on redmi note 8 pro and both are at 180 hz.
Heres another screenshot of the app itself tested on mi9.
I think its very impressive (if the app really works) since i know that only high end gaming phones(redmagic, blackshark etc) have 240 hz.
