Did you tried to reset to factory?
Strange because I'm on 193 and still have it. Must be a regional thing.
Are you on a Pro or just a normal one?
Mine just updated and i still have the toggle. I'm on three which network are you on?

Yes already did factory reset , still no auto brightness settings not available.

Sounds like it's a regional or carrier thing then. I still have it here on Vodafone in the UK
Don't have it in Germany anymore.

Hey guys!
I found out the solution.
Auto brightness toggle did not exist. And I said Ok, I'll install another app to change it. But it did not find the Adaptive Light Sensor..... Hmmm
So I would check the phone in Huawei Care app. So. Surprise!
ALS and Proximity Sensor did not work!
Clearly had to send it to a service. He opened the phone, and saw that there was a imperfect connection. Cleaned it, fixed it! Now work perfect!

Hi all,
Unfortunately with the EMUI 8.1 on Android 8.1 with the P20 Pro the widget updating is still not working (see also the thread in the Mate 10 Pro).
Or is there something I did not consider?
Any help is appreciated.

No, you are not alone. Many many users have this problem. I think there is a problem that all apps are to much sleeping and dont wake up. Can be a bug in EMUI 8.1

Make sure you go in to Settings > Battery > App Launch then pick the app and choose Manage Manually and allow to run in background, I found that helped with some of my widgets that should update.

I cannot confirm this. The Huawei Calendar widget works fine and will be updated as soon as you start scrolling. Unfortunately I don't like the widget neither the calendar app...
There must be a solution for the programmers available from Huawei.

There is only a message "problems loading widget", not scrollable. You can remove/re-add the widget, and after a short time this happens again. EMUI makes most widgets useless, even when using another launcher.

Just got the phone and noticed this as well. I have my current S8+ running with an identical setup using Nova Launcher and I can see its widgets updating correctly while P20 Pro does not.
Any solution?
i'm using KGWT for widgets and seems to be working fine
The 'solution' so far is to go in to settings and change your display resolution and put it back, this refreshes the screen and also the widgets, other than that, no one seems to have a solid solution.
It seems like it is a bug with EMUI. The developer for Calendar widget pushed out a new version with a potential workaround fix for the widget on Huawei devices, but it still seems to not work correctly. Given Huawei's track record, I fear a fix is not close.
C782 latest update fix
I just received the 110 C782 update and the widget bug is now fixed!

Did you test this at least for three days? No? So, wait and watch, before starting to cheer.
Pessimistic, much!
It will be 3 days by 8am tomorrow morning so I'm pretty confident......most of the bug reports were noting the scrollable widgets stopped between 1 and 24 hours after activation.
I did wait 2 days before I posted.

Allowed to cheer?
So its now been 3 days 2 hours and 20 mins with widgets working correctly, for me at least I believe its properly fixed.
Huawei has also closed my ticket in agreement.
Happy Days!

Same here! Seems Denmark are among the last to get the update.
Funky route?
You could always go the Funky route?

I think XDA should close those Funky paid services (if any) forums and threads, and ban every user advertising it.

In Poland after some updates there is also VoLTE icon. Maybe depends on operator in your country.
So yeah, as title says, I have problems with DND because it doesn't do a crucial thing it should do, not disturb me. Instead it's just doing nothing besides showing a moon in my already bloated status bar. Can I somehow make it work as it should on any other ROM? Had this issue on both ColorOS 6.1 and Realme UI.
Very strange... I've had the X2 Pro since release in November and use DND every single day and it's always worked perfectly.
Mine doesn't work the way it should as well. I thought I was crazy or dumb not able to use the phone correctly.

no, mate
okay so after some observation, realme UI has better dnd over coloros 6.0 but I think it's only because it's taking "silent notifications" category into an account but telegram is not in there yet it doesn't make any sound, hmm so weird
Hi everyone,
recently I bought this device (Xiaomi 11T Pro) and right now I'm using the 13.0.16 Stable.
As you can see from my screenshot, my AOD is on, the animation effect is set up and the notifications are enabled.
But, no matter what, my AOD always shows the clock and the battery.
If/when I get a notification, I have no effect/animation and icons (I have tried many notification apps, like Gmail, Whatsapp, etc).
I searched a lot on Google, but it seems no one mentioned this problem, so I'm guessing it's not a bug, but just me with some weird options.
Any idea or suggestion to figure it out?
Thank you so much.

If you receive the notifications for the original apps, surely an authorization or permissions to validate.
See the side of the AOD, change theme, programming etc..

I'm tempted... just... I'm a bit lazy to unlock the bootloader and then reinstall everything again
Silly question is not related to this topic but to Xiaomi EU from:
The image is rooted or not? Just to avoid losing Google Pay.
Thanks again

Nope,play store certified without root.
Found the issue... really embarrassing...
As in the attachment, inside the "lock screen notification" the format was "hide all".
I knew it was some deep option.
My bad.

I got poco f4 in the month of July and I had changed this setting while setting up the phone and never realised this was the reason why I couldn't see the notification animation. Finally !!
