First of all. Thank you for all your works! My zuk z1 is my only phone that i use everyday. So im wondering if this build is more or less as stable as aex oreo? Want to know before i switch to this rom. Again. Thank you.

So, the first modest conclusions on aex 6.0(used gtranslate):
1. Additional settings are not translated. At the same time they became an order of magnitude smaller.
2. The interface is smooth, although at first it was jerking.
3. Fingerprint is configured only through menu-> security.
4. Whether only with me or not, but when I first booted the system, the screen literally twitched. After the reboot stopped.
5. The download icons from 4pd and the playlist of the market are not displayed.
6. The camera does not darken and it is good. Removes and records as at 5.8.
7. Gps works (I don’t bother with GLONASS)
8. PiP is activated by default for applications that support them, checked on the vlc player.
9. Who is too lazy to read up ) STARTING KERNEL ADIUTOR AND SWITCHING A SOVERNOR WITH A PERFORMANCE ON AN INTERACTIVE (so that the cores do not thrash).
10. Autonomy leaves much to be desired 3% an hour faster than 5.8, but thanks to that, I think they will improve in updates.

1. Battery life is better, considering it to be first build.
2. After first boot, phone was getting hot.. 1 reboot and it got resolved.

4. Saw settings app crash a few times.. Not major though..
5. Please try to port digital wellbeing to this rom.. (from pixel exp)
Thats all for now.. Rom is very well usable for day to day..
As it is Pie, battery life is expected to increase day by day.. (lets see)

So, I will be pushing an update now with permissive selinux cause some things are having impact of enforced selinux.
And the other thing, we just now noticed that Nov asb with Pixel3 XL tag (r16) are having some issues with hotspot and breaking this if data is turned on. So, we will be addressing this soon and the update with this fix will be pushed as soon as this is addressed.

Fonts will be added in future and digital wellbeing is included if you flash at least Nano gapps iirc

For flashing this aex with pie, do we need to flash firmware files of aex v5.8 first?

-HWC is disabled
-The signalbar always shows 0, although calling and data have no issue and work as intended
-Vibration for calls/notifications is too weak

Now that vibration is fixed i am using this is daily myself.
Discovered that I forgot something and therefore the hard press homebutton doesn't work. Added that now and making new builds.
Both star2lte and starlte will be up soon.
Next builds after this will probably be for march patch.
Edit: new builds are up but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have fixed it. Probably AEX just doesn't swallow it as the same commits work fine on other roms.

With stock kernel it seems pretty decent. But i need a few more cycles to properly judge. It isn't really a bug anyway so that's why I removed it.

The hard press homebutton is actually fixed now. I will remove the builds of earlier today and build upload the newer ones asap.

I just wonder what the differences between the two versions are. The one without GApps means that I need to flash GApps after flashing ROM or I can't use GApps with it at all?
I'm downloading the version without GApps at the moment and will flash it anyway. (The download speed here is ******* low). :silly:

Non Gapps simply means it doesn't have pre-installed Gapps. You need to flash Separate Gapps package of you want.

The differences is Gapp, and you are right, Flash the version without GApps then flash Gapp

Evira 2.6b and 2.8 will make brightness bug occure,no full screen app toggle.

(At least in my phone) I can confirm dirty flash from OFFICIAL AospExtended-v6.6-zenfone3-20190609 build to this UNOFFICIAL AospExtended-v6.6-zenfone3-20190629 works. No bootloop whatsoever.

My fingerprint scanner works well. maybe hardware failure or do clean install.

With this release, we really want to apologise to our users for the delay in the update.
With our core developers being tied up to their personal life & space we were not able to match our consistency.

The rom is slow and the auto rotate is not working just like pixellauncher

This problem is exested in my variant too (A500h) and the auto rotate is not working in all of them (exept RR and viper)
