Reflash 8107 with Portuguse

Hi everyone!
Sorry for my silly questions but i looked for it and could find out a direct answer.
I bought an Omnia 7 that already came with Mango 7.5 8107 version with:
PDA I8700XXKH2
Phone I8700XXKG2
CSC I8700TMNJK1
I´ve been reading that to install another language, in my case Portuguese-BR, i have to downgrade and then put in edit the option, also i read that this firmware still cant be unlocked.
So please, be patient, after years with iOS and Android i´m starting now a new an great life.
If anyone could really help me, i´ll really appreciate your time and company.

Mas posso fazer o downgrade?Posso instalar essa pre-NODO rom sem problemas? Li mas esse link não diz nada sobre as linguagens disponiveis. Você tem um Omnia em portugues?
Desculpe, mas o Windows Mobile é bem mais complicado que os outros sistemas.

Use esta http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=897163, faça as atualizações pelo zune, antes de chegar em mango adicione o registro 0416 portuguese( conforme link anterior que te passei) que ele vai atualizar ate 8107.79 em portugues, a rom é i8700xenjk1 pois no link acima tem duas

I don't know if your fellow Brazilian helped you, but I write the process to add a language interface, it may come in handy for someone else.
You don't need to downgrade to add a language, because now Mango on Omnia7 is unlockable. But you need to wait till there is a new update, because you are already having the latest update. If you cant wait, flash (downgrade, losing your stored in the phone data) a 7720 Rom like I8700XXKH2, download from http://www.sammobile.com (you need to register for free first)
A. Interop unlock your phone using The WindowBreak Project (Mango is unlockable on Omnia7 if you have firmware KK1 and earlier. Only KK2 is unlockable. The roms fw is KH2 and you will be ok). Instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20619864
B. Sideload WP7 Root Tools by Heatchcliff74. Download and instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1265321
Use the apps registry editor and go to Local Machine -> MUI -> Available
Add a new Value (be careful add val, NOT key) with value name: "0416'', value type: ''string'', and value date: ''Portuguese - Brazil''
Exit the app. Reboot the device and re run the registry editor to make sure the new value has been saved at Local Machine\MUI\Available. Also note down what other languages exist.
C. Update manually (not via zune) with WP7 Cab sender from 7720 to 7740 using that cab http://download.windowsupdate.com/m..._2cb1bfdd82133914239b8ee1a78e61e9000d124a.cab

Install all the cabs (let's say you had 5 languages + 1 newly added Portuguese - Brazil + the actual update cab, that makes 7 cabs total) in one go (just place them in the WP7 Cab Sender folder). Wait till the updates finishes (be patient)
You are good to go with newest OS and your added interface language.

Obrigado funcionou certo conforme seus links, muito bom, o ruim é que perdemos os comandos de voz, você tem algum pack em português? Além disso, notei que perdi o unlock, fiz tudo conforme o tutorial para evitar o re-lock mas quando enfim terminou e a versão 8107 foi instalada, quando entrei nos devidos programas fui informado que a Microsoft havia "banido" e devia desinstalar...será que isso aconteceu porque atualizei pelo Zune?

a)When adding a new value, it always show me "string value name error" and only accept to save with value type "String" and not "DWord" and with name "Portuguese (pt) " and not "Portuguese - Brazil"
b)To stay with Mango unlocked, i should preserve 7720 Rom I8700XXKH2 or with you manual method update to 8107 will preserve it? Does it works like when updating an iOs with jailbreak via Itunes oficial ones?
c)Does are avaiable any voice control packages to portuguese or only to the original languages that come with Nodo?

A. My fault mate, value type is ''string'', I will correct that in the initial post. As fas as the name is concerned, I don't know if it really matters what you write in there. If Portuguese (BR) does it for you it's ok.
B. If you are interop unlocked on 7720, whatever way (Zune or manually with WP7 cab sender) you update, you will stay interop unlocked BUT if you update via Zune there is the possibility (some get it, some others don't, chances are that if you have a unbranded device you will get it) that you will get the new KK2 firmware update along with the actual os update, which although doesn't lock your phone, it doesn't allow you to unlock it again (in case you lose your unlock let's say by Hard-resetting your phone). So easy unlock like Windowbreak (and actually any other way till now) will not be possible without flashing back to older roms.
If you update manually to 8107 (skipping manual update of KK2), and hardreset your device, losing interop unlock, with Windowbreak you can re-unlock it very easily. Also KK2 firmaware doesn't allow provisiong, that may limit some homebrew customising.
C. There is nothing you can currently do with voice packages, at least to my knoweledge. Right now if you set your local to Portuguese (BR), your voice commands don't work?
Go to HKLM\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\MobileOperator and tell me what is the data there to see if your device is branded or unbranded (000-88).

B)I asked you about cause my portuguese fellow post some links that i follow and at the end my 8107 final update was warning on xap programs that Microsoft "banned" it and i should uninstall then. By the way, that firmware you suggested, i thread people said many things about engineed mode and other stuff, i preferred not to use it cause like i said, im new here, so i download the 7004 one and made manually each update.
C)Yeah, voice command and bing commands says that isnt avaiable at my region

Rom is a different thing than firmware. Rom includes OS version (PDA), firmaware, bootloader and and radio version. I8700XXKH2 Rom contains KH2 firmware. Indeed I8700XXKH2 Rom is Engineering Rom (in contrast to Retail Roms), but there is a tool to flash both Retail and Engineering Roms without problem and most importantly engineering roms are 100% updateable via Zune, and after the 1st update via Zune the status of the phone/Rom goes to Retail. But anyway you went all the way from 7004, so more flashing excitement and you get to experience all the updates... 7004 -> 7008 -> 7392 -> 7403 -> 7720 -> 7740 -> 8107. I don't know in your case from 7004, how many steps did you take?
If you updated to 8107 and Zune says there is an update, don't do it. It's the KK2 update that doesn't allow interop unlock and provisioning. If you didn't update to KK2 with the 8107 update in one step, that is... (It is more adviceable to update from 7740 to 8107 manually).
Check Settings -> About and post firmware/radio/bootloader versions.

Here what I've done to have portuguese language (including Camera Settings). if you don´t copy the file with the camera settings translations, you will not see that settings on the camera. You will have only three buttons for the flash.
- Install Windows Phone SDK 7.1
- Install a retail rom 7004 (using I8700_WP7_Downloader_Ver_7.03_For_Retail_Device__Product_Force_Select__)
- Update in Zune to 7008, then cancel the next update.
- Unlock with WindowBreak (it's easy and work always) - http://windowsphonehacker.com/artic...ck_your_samsung_wp7_with_windowbreak-12-23-11
- Install Registry Editor (Windows Phone SDK 7.1 - Application Deployment)
- Create new value for Portuguese language (0816) in registry
- Update in Zune for 7403 (and cancel the next update)
- Install DiagProvXMLv0.91_IS.xap (Windows Phone SDK 7.1 - Application Deployment)
- Copy camerasettingsmanifest.0816.xml to \Windows\ folder on the phone, using Isolated Storage Explorer GUI on PC, and then the DiagProvXML on the phone
- Install WP7 Rool Tools (Windows Phone SDK 7.1 - Application Deployment)
- Verify that the file camerasettingsmanifest.0816.xml is on \Windows using Explorer from WP7 Root Tools.
- Update to 7740 in Zune
- Update to 8107 manually with Cab Sender. (If use Zune unlock is lost)

We use the switch for DND like on op devices
That "Game mode" is too cheesy and we have not decided what to do with that. Also there is only basic support for the led stripe (charging and notifications)

Conseguí descargar la versión V2.18 y después de instalar me pidió una contraseña de google, la cual no me aceptaba, es mia y estaba bien puesta, pero no me dejaba por lo que encendí en modo Recovery e hice Wipe Data y ya consiguió encender y ya solo saltó la actualización V2.21 y seguida tras instalarla, saltó la V2.23 que es en la que estoy ahora

Finaly Nubia sent me a link with the original Beta international firmware with Google play services but I think Chinese firmware is better. My problem is that I can't Install play store. I proved all methods that I know, root, etc. Chinesse firmware is full and it have much options and adjust.

Dear meltbanana, could you add some more information about 'cloned' device and that ROM? Which distinct model of G5s (Montana) did you use and which version of bootloader (BC.xx line in Fastboot Mode) does it have?

la sd solo es para que entre en modo fastboot, luego debes pasar el flash y ya. le quitas la sd

How to write in SD?

Hi, I tried this on a 16GB memory card and it gave me a lot of partitions around 20.
I put a memory card in the device and tried to enter fastboot mode, but I didn't succeed, qualcomm appeared to me again.
I then tried to insert that same file in the same way over rufus as I inserted on a 16GB memory card so I tried on 32GB and 64GB memory cards.
But when I put on a 32GB or 64GB memory card I don't get more than 20 files, I only get 1 GPT file.
And then I put that memory card in the phone and again nothing happens.
By the way, this is a Moto G5s montana XT1793 phone.
How to fix it, it just flashes white, the battery is over 3.8V, the computer sees it in qualcomm mode. How to recover it?

You can choose (after lock/relock) if you want to wipe (or not) data.

Problema nel blocco del BOOTLOADER
Salve, ho un Asus Zenfone 3 ZE552KL con android Oreo. Ho scaricato questo tool, per effettuare la procedura del blocco del bootloader.
Dopo aver aperto ZE552KL_Modder.bat e aver seguito la guida per scaricare tutti i file ed aver fatto partire il blocco del bootloader. Mi sono trovato all'avviso "Part 1- flash factory raw" da almeno 1 ora. E' normale questa attesa? Posso chiudere il tool senza danneggiare il bootloader? E in caso lo danneggiasse, si può far ripartire la procedura per metterlo a posto?

Hai bisogno dei driver USB, in quanto il PC ha bisogno di questi driver per comunicare con il telefono.
Sotto il Part 1 - flash factory raw dovrebbe essere presente un <waiting for device>. In caso contrario, dimmi cosa esce.

Yup, it should work because the lock/relock process it's done while being on Factory, so there should be no problems.

Your modder.zip does not seem to contain the factory.
How will the factory come onto the phone during the process of lock/unlock? Or do i missunderstand something completely?

Nope, you shouldn't search anything.
The download link for Factory RAW and Oreo RAW is automatically opened while doing unlock/relock process (only if their zip files are not in their respective folders. If there is any zip file, 7z will do the rest of the job). So no worries about searching etc. That tool is designed to simplify unlock/relock/root etc. process, not for searching for hours many raw files + aft links

Firstly, it checks if there are 2 files into the unlock folder: factory and oreo raw. We'll call this process "checkfiles".
If detects that there isn't a factory raw and neither a factory zip, it redirects to download section where you can download and place the factory zip into his folder. After that, when you press a button, the unzip process starts. When it ends, it returns to the "checkfiles" var. Now he detects that there are both factory raw & zip, and check if there's oreo raw/zip file. The rest of the process is the same.
After that, when you unlock, basically it flashes factory raw, then reboot in bootloader, unlock the device, reboot in bootloader and, finally, flash oreo raw.
The same process is used for locking bootloader, with the only difference, obvisiouly, that the bootloader will be locked and not unlocked.

Hi all, I managed to fix the green tint issue on Redmi Note 10 Pro ( 64 mp camera - SWEETIN) on the latest EU global ROM without root.
Note - This should be only used on SWEETIN or the Indian variant of redmi note 10 pro.
- Installation
1. Download the latest EU fastboot Rom (13.0.7.0) and extract it.
2. Open the following file "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format" with notepad++ or any text editor and replace "sweet" with "sweetin" and save the changes.

Thank you, brother!! I just installed it on my sweetin (64mp) device and it's working flawlessly so far.
I am curious to know what sort of modifications you did to the super image file. Is there any way you could share the details. I'd like to be able to do this for future eu rom releases as well.

aaahh, nvm, after setting everything up, I noticed that the audio quality is really bad compared to indian ROM, even with dolby on. So, I'm back to stock and I will enjoy whatever modifications I can get with root.

muito da hora, vc só extraiu o super da rom indiana ou fez alguma modificação nele?

fiz esse procedimento e deu super certo, agora é usar e testar mais a funto, acheio o audio mais baixo mesmo, mas não é tanto assim. a mim não atrapalha.

I am using it for more then a month, never noticed bad sound quality, it's similar to Indian varient only, did you formatted your phone before installing?

No Recovery ROMs are different and as there are lots of Issues converting EU Roms to Recovery, I suggest using the Fastboot Method only, anyways you will have to do a clean flash in either case.

Bro there are lots of guides on YouTube and XDA, download twrp.img from official website for sweet, then boot into fastboot mode and type following command
fastboot flash recovery "recovery name"
Then you will be able to boot into recovery.
