LS995 - Latest officially supported version of Android - LG G Flex

Hi all. Can someone tell me what the final supported version of Android is for the Sprint LG Flex (LS995)? TIA!

When I left that phone, it was KitKat 4.4.3...not much development for it. Shame it never caught on

I've not facebook: why a petition should be in vain at all?
This is the text of the petition:
To: Motorola Europe
Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Update for Motorola Milestone (Europe).
Motorola Milestone is still a top-class smartphone and there are no technical reason to not port Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) to this device since the update to Android 2.3 is yet announced on less-powerful devices.
We would like Motorola to update Milestone smartphone to Android 2.3 as we feel that the device is fully capable to support the new OS and is still to early stop supporting this device only after a year from it's commercialization. Especially for a top-class device.

before i'll create it, can you tell me if there are any grammar errors?

i personally appreciate your efforts however, i think they are wasted, im pretty sure 2.2 is the last official update we will see simply because it is motorola we are dealing with, not HTC or even smasung

I think that it would be better like this:
"Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Update for Motorola Milestone (Europe).
Motorola Milestone is yet a powerful smartphone and there are no technical reasons to not port Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) to this device since the update to Android 2.3 is also announced for less-powerful devices.
We would like Motorola to update the Milestone to Android 2.3 as we feel that the device is fully capable to support the new OS and it is still too early to stop the support for it as it has been out for just a year, considering also that the Milestone is a top-class device."
Anyway good luck
Why don't simply asking for an unlocked bootloader that allow a full ROM cooking like for droid and all the other HTC devices?
I think that it will be easier to get this instead of an official porting from Motorola (absolutely not convenient for them)!
And the community later can develop for porting 2.3 on milestone too.
Much easier.... Doesn't it??
P.S I already had some experience in the past with petition and manufacturer (Eten/Glofiish/Acer) ... And this is my point of view...
Worry for official release of Froyo first...then think about Gingerbread.
Change the phone is the fastest option...just saying.
Whait for it. ...
Ahahahaha, if u think how long they took them to relese 2.2, a. ... whait, it's not relesed yet, then if u think a bit, the deam phone will break before you got 2.3
Just saying. .. =))

As above, ask for the bootloader to be unlocked instead.
If the device is classed as End Of Life, i.e no more updates happening, then it's more likely they'll unlock it....
Dont get your hopes up though, we still dont have 2.2.....
Ehi guys, go to this thread and sign on both petitions!

Looking for Lollipop 5.0 upgrade from Kitkat 4.4.2 for LG G Flex AT&T (D95020b)

Hi Gurus,
I need to upgrade my existing LG Flex to Lollipop 5.0 or greater version, any help and links to subject post would be highly appreciated. I am using below version/kernel of LG G Flex :
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband Version: M8974A-AAAANAZM-2.0.20046
Kernel Version: 3.4.0
Build Bumber: KOT49I.D95020b
Software Version: D95020b
No update exists yet
Lollipop Update
Last time i checked the g flex of any variant will not receive lollipop due to compatibility issues. From what LG told me after i emailed them about it. Though rumors point to the g flex may receive 6.0. Though i doubt it, wishful thinking though.

hi. well where do i start.... first theres no official release for any g4 except the korean variant.. the h815 is a beta release LP was named 10 MM was 20 and N is 30. so MM last tmobile was 20v 20= MM so we should get a 30 for official N. the h815 is a beta release. its a v29 not a 30. and by the way we had the first working full firmware of nougat first then h815.. my friend tecknofreak release it he was first person to have it working then me. .
as for official release its unknown.. Lg promised in Q3 wich already ended and theres no N. but at the same time we ask ourselves why did they bother to release a beta on h815 if they had no plans...??
some say it may not come some think that this month for h815. i called tmobile and a lady in the developing department wasnt aware of LG promise she search online and saw the announcemnt she told me that if we get it it will be on december or november for tmobile. IF we get it. she said yes but i dont trust them.
if you want to try N flash this.

ps . you posted this question in the worng section. should be in the tmobile section or frequently asked questions threead.
I wouldn't expect 'official' Nougat for G4. LG is playing with us. Never ever LG, what a sh1tty company
