Hi guys, I am aware that Phh makes one of the best GSI period but the problem is that lad aint got time to fix for each and every devices.
So if anyone is capable, please make a gsi optimised specifically for M20.
Thanks in advance.
The problem I've faced:
1.Fingerprint sensor doesn't work ( wasn't smart enough to implement the fix provided)
2.After two or three reboots the devices bootloops but the strange part is it boot upto lockscreen and keeps looping.
3.Wide angle camera will be gone entirely which is a shame as it is one of the best part of the phone.

Hi everyone,
The note 9 is the great device, and project treble make a even better. But there is a strange conflict with GSI and the phone.
On the stock ROM Hotword Ok Google, works even if the screen is off, but with GSI or sGSI work only if the screen is on.
Trusted face doesn't work too, but the front camera work great with the Gcam for example.
If someone, knows how to fix that, or why is that, please help, me and someone else will be very thankful.

hi, I flashed some of s8 port ROM for Note5 that developer posted on XDA, but most of ROM, the S8 camera sticker doesn't work(I click the bear icon and selecte animals sticker, and turn camera to people, but no people detection appeared), it didn't detect people face at all ,and I also tried to flash independent s8 port camera (https://forum.xda-developers.com/note5/themes-apps/s8-camera-port-t3592871) ,but it has the same issue. although couple of other ROMs does work, but there are some other issues, can anybody give me give me some hints or instructions, that would be appreciated.
My fingerprint sensor on my Mi 11 doesn't on any generic system images that I use. On each one it asks for a fingerprint on the back sensor even though the Mi 11 has one integrated into the screen. It doesn't sense any touch that I do. Does anyone know a fix for this?
There is no fix for it, and it has been stated a lot of times in every gsi rom.
It is normal for gsi roms to have that bug. It can only be fixed when somebody makes a device specific gsi rom.. And that only will be happening when we got a normal working twrp and we get hooked on the gsi programms by somebody.
You wouldve know this if you just used the search function..
Thanks, I assumed that was reason. I also realized that I have no sound. Is there an easy fix for that?
All the bugs you are facing are not really fixable untill we get an active developper.
Howdy! First of all, read all of this.
Now, here's my issue:
Basically, I flashed the custom orangefox recovery in here (and also Pixel Experience for my phone, follow the same link) and now, the touchscreen doesn't work at most cases! The whole run down is as follows:
1. boot/restart the phone: Touchscreen doesn't detect touch
2. turn off and on the screen: Touchscreen works flawlessly (unless left for like- quite a looong time- or if the Always On Display is enabled)
3. turn the screen off an on again: It doesn't work again! And so for every consequential cyclo
It's bothering me a lot and I don't know what to do anymore, I don't wanna use a mouse for my phone
Is there any solution? Or do I have to go back to MIUI? (In miui the issue is... similar, but after just an on/off display cycle it works fine)
In case this info is needed:
-I had a screen replacement not long ago
-Pixel Experience worked flawlessly in the touchscreen sense before the screen broke and was replaced
Thanks for reading

I'm not sure, since it was replaced at a repair center (not Xiaomi but 3rd party) but in MIUI it didn't give that problem, and uhh... the build just says deprecated and nothing more. I don't know how to report the issue to the mantainer

those centers dont use genuine parts, so, your display must be generic, you can expect fails in touch, brightness, sensors and touch features you have lose your amoled image quality,, so that the problem your generic display
I am facing the same problem. After replacement, a third-party display of my xiaomi redmi note 10 pro max phone Pixel Experience recovery.Img and custom ROM's touchscreens don't work.
Initial ProblemThe issue arose after having been on Pulkit's LineageOS (unofficial) for weeks. One fine morning i get the following message on my lock screen: Fingerprint hardware not available. To respect the rules of the forum and since I had already gone into detail about it here and found a temporary fix for it, I refrain from reiterating the same.
TLDRThe fingerprint hardware issue came up abruptly, wasn't fixed with changing kernels. Switched to a miui 14 port for a week, everything was working fine, switched back to an aosp rom (Voltage os), runs fine for a day and on the second half of the second day, the fingerprint sensor stops working again.
Help?I've scoured through the forum in search for a solution to this but seems like it's a truly unique problem x | Has anyone encountered something like this? Were you able to solve it or was there any permanent fix to this? I really don't want to have to use miui if I can help it and after having been on aosp roms for almost a year now, I absolutely can't daily drive miui T.T
Any advise or suggestions on the matter are really welcome!
