Has anyone tried to take a T-Mobile N1 on VZW LTE? While I'm not quite sure this is possible given that LTE runs on 700mhz which isn't supported by the N1, it does appear 3G runs on 1700mhz, which is supported. I've had it with T-Mobile in Denver and am looking at other options while I wait for the first ICS phone. Thanks!
T-mobile and Verizon use different technologies to implement cellular coverage. A T-mobile phone will not work on the Verizon network.
anyone know if /how we can activate lte on our phones if it can be?
thanks
Pete
I can only get an Edge connection when using my China Unicom Dual sim 802W on the T-Mobile network.
I cannot get any 3G connection anywhere I have been , where I previously got a 3G signal with my SGN II
I would like confirmation from somebody else that the 3G 1900Mhz band is in fact working on this model.
Thanks

Did you get it working?
anyone able to pickup lte on tmobile? im in strong coverage area and usually any att phone i use with my tmobile sim picks up lte but not getting it with the first. only 4g. ??
only ONCE did I pick up a 4g LTE signal and it was in a T-Mobile store using the apn epc.T-Mobile.com but a little while after more specifically the after I went out LTE was lost and the speeds I saw were definitely LTE like. I don't know if it was just a fluke on the phone that displayed the signal wrong or that tmobiles refaring is getting allot more drastic allowing LTE
Sent from my HTC first using xda app-developers app
I just got an unlocked code for my samsung galaxy note 4 t-mobile and I'm wondering if I could use it on verizon network?
No
Voice frequency share the 1900mhz band, 3G share the 1900mhz band, 4G share the 1700/2100mhz band, and 4G LTE are compatible bands as per: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular_frequencies so I don't see why not? I have put Verizon 4G LTE devices onto T-Mobile's carrier before via APN settings so I don't see how its not backwards compatible?
did you try it?
