First of all, I'm not responsible for any damage to your device.
I've extracted v385 drivers from Syberia OS and I'm using it with SuperiorOS without any problems so far. Performance and battery increase are notable even after the V331 update.
This should work for Snapdragon 625, but you can try with other phones following this instructions, but only if their use adreno 5xx gpu.
You can check your OpenGL version with AIDA64 on Display and you can also check your Vulkan version with Hardware CapsViewer for Vulkan.
Added lastest android Q drivers (v415). It was tested on SuperiorOS and AICP but should work with other Pie roms.
Working on Android 9.0 Pie.
OpenGL V385
OpenGL V415
Optional. Flash it if you face a black screen with vulkan apps.
Vulkan 1.0.66
Instructions:
Wipe dalvik, system, vendor, data and cache.
Flash lastest firmware
Flash your rom
Mount system and vendor (not needed for v415)
Flash the drivers
and then flash your other addons.
You can dirty flash vulkan drivers.

It's the same thing, but his driver was outdated (v331). I've extracted a newer version and posted here (v385) and the performance and battery increase is notable better over the v331 version. But today he has updated his drivers, so now both should be on the same version.
I also felt in need to link and give the thanks for the original op (heindrix), but somehow my comments wasn't appearing on beingtejas topic.
I already updated it 7 days back,

But since am not home and busy in my work , it's pending , since i not post anything without testing , and am using k20 pro at present..
I updated my k20 pro drivers too and with that i updated max 2, but you posted it just before me..what ever your source is now.. it was not working that time when i first included my drivers with hardrock bro's rom.
Hardrock know better about all those things we did that time to make the best we can give.. let it be.. since i was looking to stop my work for max 2 for long time now i got the reason..
I still add one thing i don't used anything from your sources , even i asked him to help but he didn't answered.. it all by me and it will be..

The drivers from heindrix's topic was working perfectly as many people with many devices said so and I've tested it too. I saw you there and your comment that v331 wasn't working but his v313 version worked, then you made a topic sharing v313. I posted not only on heindrix's topic but also in yours that v331 was working and the instructions to make it work, but for a reason my comment didn't appear (neither you reply for that comment) on your topic and a very few time later you updated your drivers to v331. Now I've extracted v385 drivers and one day later you update your drivers to v385.
I felt in need to give heindrix his proper thanks. It's done now and people also got v385 that feels way better.

Follow the instructions, otherwise it will give you a black screen.
Added lastest android Q drivers (v415). Tested on MiMax 2 running SuperiorOS.
Just a side note: give the credits when you copy other people work, don't just copy and call your own.
It's not nice to do so, you can even make harm to the community as the original creator can stop his work and in the end you will get caught.
Great Work sir thankyou for updating driver
it's great that i find someone who do the work for Mi Max 2.
and unfortunately i read some argument on the top replies too.
what i've done on the past was just finding the latest version blobs for related adreno gpu. extract it from a rom, check the version, flash-test it, run the benchmark and test the vulkan features.
after that i analyze the logcat to see if there's something related to the graphics problem causing by the new drivers.
other than that, it's require reverse-engineering the blobs to fix the error (like blackscreen) which until today i haven't been advanced it because i didn't really dive into it.
Every time i install thise drivers Google camera on.mi max 2, turns black.. and Gg

Hello,
Developers, I really need help to get the ubuntu-touch port working again!
After the first release of Ubuntu-Touh I tried to port it again to our devices, but I don't get them booting. I only get a black screen. I have updated all sources on github and made the appropriate changes. You can find all relevant sources and information on my new website http://danwin.github.io/ubuntu-touch.html where I have uploaded the non-bootng builds for developers.
I still have the old builds available for those, who want a booting ubuntu-touch, but without any functionality: http://danwin.github.io/ubuntu-touch.html

You have to created an ext4 partition with CWM of another kernel or Linux and flashed then my kernel to use the ext4 partition on your SD-Card as /data, because ubuntu is to big for the internal storage. Have you really done that step?

For now yes, but hopefully officiallysonyrebel can make the kernel patches in one or two days available, so I can rebuild all images to make the daily builds of ubuntu booting, which have a lot of improvements.
Kernel patches related to what? I can help out. And I remember officiallysontrebel saying that he doesnt know much about kernels on the ray thread that was removed.

The daily images of ubuntu aren't booting and officiallysonyrebel said that this is related to some kernel patches that have to be made, you can PM him and ask if you can help him with patching, so we can make the daily images also booting, which have a lot improvements in stability and usability.

thats strange.... It cant be kernel related, if you had added the new configs to the source code. It could be with the lastest CM10.1 changes for the 2011 devices. Take a look at http://github.com/cm42semc , here you will find the latest commits. I say this because if there was a problem with the Ubuntu Images, i.e something new needed to be added to get the build to boot, then it wouldn't boot on my n7100 either (as i made the same changes as prescribed on the guide). Either way its just a hunch. Give it a go.
With kernel patches, can performance be addressed?

Maybe, but the daily builds of ubuntu have a lot better performance and stability than the mwc-demo image, which is currently the only booting version.

Yes, others did have a blackscreen, even the n7100 users did. But some, including myself got it to boot.
This is what I did:
1. Wipe system / data / dalvik
2. install device part
3. install ubuntu image
NOTE: You made a new partition on the sdcard where ubuntu was to be installed. I recommend you to WIpe your sdcard, create a new partition and try again. Also try with try flashing with a different recovery / kernel then flashing the ubuntu kenrel in the end. Sometimes recoveries mess up.

I found the bug with not isolating kernel in additional roms after posting multirom here. Unfortunately I havent solved it yet. I decided to not delele this project because the rest of this works. This is useful who want to have similar rom in on tab. For example to test apps. Sorry for inconvience.
this is beta release. for p900 only.
I'll write full instruction later. For full description see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011403
I'm not sure that everything is stable, so I dont publish source code. I dont want to distribute buggy sources. thanks for understanding.
for stock firmware only. for now. use stock frimware as primary. you can flash cm as additional.
Installation:
1. https://yadi.sk/d/RVXpEgc6c4GKo - this is modded recovery. flash via odin
2. https://yadi.sk/d/CHl8wTYYc4GMZ - patched kernel. (patched my 1.3 pro kernel)
https://yadi.sk/d/D2riVhEgc4GPP - multirom main program
flash through modded recovery patched kernel and multirom.
uninstallation:
https://yadi.sk/d/jc4uxZeCc4GRb - flash this uninstaller through recovery, then flash original twrp
known issues:
- 1920x1200 resolution in twrp
- in List Roms installed roms dont shown
- in multirom boot menu touchscreen downt work. use buttons (vol-,vol+,power)
multirom apk from play store doesnt support this release.

nice to see you here. Actually I bought this high end class tablet because of its specifations and over standarts. Still is the most powerful tablet in market.. But somehow it always lacked development and support of developers. Recently maybe the price is dropped so it started make owners smile little bit.
I was almost giong to change it, but still there is no powerful alternate..
I would like to be a tester of multiboot. because I would love to see ubuntu desktop in this tablet.
Thank you!

Do you mean the first (pre multirom install ) flashed rom kernal is the only kernal that boots regardless of the chosen rom, is multirom a separate bootloder that is chainloaded by the original bootloader? Does multirom have a config file describing the various kernals with different filenames if so can it be manually edited? Does multirom mount emulated system partition images or are their actual multiple prexisting system partions in the mbr that multirom can choose from ? What would quilify as similar roms, stock and omni are they similar enouph ?

I dont recommend to use this multirom because it has the bug with sharing kernel. So you need to use similar roms as primary and as additional. I dont have an idea how to solve it at this moment.
Hello there, it's time to get this rolling somewhere.
This is a Development-Thread. Please don't post if you aren't a developer.
What this IS
This is a Development thread, a platform for developers to discuss the development of CyanogenMod for the G925F. It's made so that we can get this working, fix up the problems - because there will be severe ones - and achieve a working official Rom at some point.
At the moment it's @OldDroid and me with help, but it would be awesome if interested devs would join in so that we can make this a team effort.
In short, it's a Dev-Thread in a dev section.
Right now it doesn't work and I'm not sure that it will work.
What this IS NOT
This is NOT a working Rom. Not even close. I can only link you to the kernel repo and soon to device and vendor, as they are almost completed for a first try.
And yes, there is no download link for the Rom. Because there isn't anything you could download yet.
This is also NOT intended as a Q&A thread. Please don't ask if your variant will be supported, I will respond by trolling. Firstand only priority is to get this running, then we'll talk about variants.
And ETA is an evil word with no meaning here. I work slowly, deal with it

It's apparently not without some minor casualties, but we got it. Huge thanks to @RaymanFX, he's helping me, since I'm not that much into CM building yet and I'm also basing this project on his CM for the N910C, which's 5433 is darn similar to our 7420, so we got a pretty good base to begin with.

But can you tell us more in details how porting works and what are the challenges with it.
Is it hard to develop a rom without samsung binary files and drivers? I know they are proprietary and closed soruce.
If just Samsung could be more developer friendly like Sony.
We can request source for closed binaries here, http://opensource.samsung.com/reception/receptionSub.do?method=inquiryView, most likely they wont answer

I can't say what the challenges here will be, since I couldn't manage to even flash it yet - Second build is compiling since hours now. For now it's using all the proprietrary stuff we managed to grab and some additional stuff from the 5433 CM. But without booting it's hard to tell what won't work and might present a challenge ^^ From what I saw it'll be tough to just get the modem running. The hard part is to write the drivers yourself

I would personally flash an Engineering boot loader while doing this, to ensure version checking is not the issue.

Yup looks like but for vulkan api only. I don't it'll be much problem with that. As u can see aosp 7 builds are already up for nexus5 , one plus one and few other devices which are 800 or 801 .
I hope stil working on s5 sm g900f
Can't wait for CM14, although qualcomm won't release new drivers for gpu. So I do not know, if it is worth to wait.. But our devs are geniuses, maybe the current driver packages will work, too.. But at first, I have to root my phone, what I don't like to do, because 0x1 is bad with warranty till January.. hmmmmmm... But Paranoid Android, CM14, ...

Alright, got ubuntu installed (windows partition had a heart attack afterwards lmao) so now Ill do my best to follow that guide and see what happens i guess... Should build pretty fast since this machine has a i7 3770 and 16gb of ram and it seems the guide says 8gb of ram is fine.
Alright guys, i got to the part where I have to sync the repo, so i pasted the link in the cm device tree github page that is in the "clone or download" dropdown (ends with .git) and i get this error in the screenshot... got any ideas?

No idea.. I googled a bit but i didn't find anything exactly like that, maybe you can just try another time, I'm not an expert developer, so I just hope someone could help us.

Hey guys just for us kind information we can hope cm14 aswell as ROMs based on it. Look this post by aicp developer/contributor . he has booting aicp n dev build. The awesome thing yo notice in this post is network indicators. Looks like ril is working also I think its usable too. But we have to wait a lil more to get public build.
Hit thanks button on his post.

We want to try that build, beta, alpha or wathever it is. We just want to try it, feel nougat in our hands, we want a download link for that build, even if it isn't stable, daily usable and public. We want that, we must have that.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community
There are lineage os builds for only tab s2 8.0 2015 models.
this version is stable without any known issues.
Root is not included here. For root install magisk or su-addon ( https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/su/addonsu-14.1-arm-signed.zip )
install:
flash with twrp
don't forget to flash gapps ( opengapps.org ) you need version for android 7.1 arm

WOW! This is the first build of Lineage that works great on my tab! Didn't test fingerprint but autobrightness and camera is working great. Thank a lot. On T710 by the way.
See my signature for twrp 3.1.1-0 for both gts28wifi and gts28ltexx.
Please note that twrp 3.2.0-0 has just been released! I'll be working on bringing it up to the Galaxy Tab S2 2015 tablets as soon as possible
On a related matter, I own a 9.7 wifi variant and I build for it daily. Netflix doesn't work with the official gts2-common repo, but if you use mine it will. I kept a long since abandoned fix which has worked very well in my builds.
Do we need gapps, thank you sooooooo much for this!!!!

I flash pico on my phone and tablet, but even stock or higher should work if the builds are from official sources. I also recommend Magisk if you wish to root. If these builds have su root, Magisk simply uninstalls it before installing itself.
bonuzzz, you did what most (self proclaimed) devs failed to achieve and deliver for the T710/715 in the last months! i just installed the ROM and tried it out the last few hours. finally got a clean and reliable android for my T710.
it's working really smooth, no issues so far. everything - including bluetooth and fingerprint - is working perfectly [edit: haven't tried it, since not needed: according to some posts in this thread stock camera doesn't seem to be working properly]. i am really anstonished and amazed by this great initial release, thanks a lot. i hope you keep on delivering such a good work.
many thanks and best regards from germany
For me on my T710 the microphone did not work. So it isn't in perfect working order yet and the battery drains quite fast, but it's miles better than the previously shared builds here on XDA, and most certainly usable.
I also had issues with certain apps not working properly, so I ended up going back to stock for now. (more precisely: the Antutu 3D part and the Focus gallery application).

Sorry if twrp is spam. Best of luck fiddling around with lineage recovery. For everyone's sake, I hope that Netflix works on your builds.
Thanks a lot for this build. An important progress for the T710/T715.
And also thx for the current TWRP link @ripee, missed that one.
Camera app force closed. Dont save any pictures
If you use a third party app like open camera, it actually works really well.
Either way, the microphone doesn't work at all, as in all roms for this device, and sadly it is a deal breaker for me since I use my tablet for video calls all the time.

open camera same problem.
My twrp recovery is old. I update this and I will try again
Having used this ROM for the last few days on a T710, I experienced a very stable system. UI was always smooth, no serious issues so far. :good:
However, I observed some strange behaviours/minor issues:
Fingerprint unlock isn't always working reliably. Sometimes, when trying to unlock the lockscreen, the finger on the fingerprint sensor doesn't seem to be detected and the PIN has to be entered manually.
LiveDisplay is not always active when the device comes from sleep and has to be unlocked. Upon the next sleep/active via short press on the power button iteration, the LiveDisplay mostly works as expected.
Once, presumably a wakelock drained the battery throughout the day until it was empty and the device turned itself off. I don't know why this happened and can't reproduce it.
Altogether a very successful start for this ROM, I will keep it on my device and hope the dev keeps on working on it to further improve it or even update to Lineage 15.x...
Thanks, @bonuzzz!
Sorry for intruding again, but we are about to get official TWRP support! I've been asked to test the "release candidate" images. As I don't have either a gts28wifi or gts28ltexx, I'd like to post the links here and ask for feedback. I'll create a separate TWRP thread once I confirm that these twrp builds work. I apologize again:

The point is,..
If your building it, wouldn't you want it all together so you could track it easier? Now you'll need to read all the threads that you've posted this into to find the results.
I know we all appreciate you doing this. But please make your own thread for it so we can all see what's going on. Without having to read through the 4+ threads this is in.
Keep it up. It's nice to see our tabs still getting some love. Thank you. ?
