AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?​

If you're having issues and want to submit a report (Logcat) please make sure you are reporting from the stock kernel, not a modified kernel. Modified kernels can break or fix, even improve things. It depends. I can't get a full clue of the issue when you're not running the original kernel.

Install process
New beta's are submitted at the end of each week, or bi-weekly. It is required, that in between each beta update, a full wipe of System,Data,Dalvik Cache, and Cache is performed. Dirty flashing each update WILL generate more issues than allegedly current within the beta software. We will not provide support to users who did not perform those pre-flashing requirements. If you can't afford to lose current data, or perform a backup, then this program isn't your cup of tea.
Security
AOSCP 4 holds an extensive amount of security measures to ensure your experience and private data is kept safe. We hold all of Google's up-to-date stagefright patches with several media bypass blocks and kernel modifications. We also ship with private signature keys for an extra security. Be advised that with our new security keys, you cannot flash other roms on top of aoscp, vice versa.

Installed on Redmi 4A with 1. TWRP recovery (vendor partition enabled)
2. Batik recovery
3. Pitchblack recovery.
All 3 recoveries don't detect the sim, and performance is slow, and play store is buggy, at best.
Hoping for a quick fix, since I love this ROM a lot!

How to detect sim

bootloop after change rom from PIXEL EXPERIENCE 9.0 (both recoveries - Batik & TWRP ) on my Redmi 4a (rolex) i try instal with a guide from rom source site, on other android sites, do a a clean instal and "dirty", even i format data and clean everything (w/o external data) - there is a problem with bootlop (i want to try latest bootleggers Rom for rolex - and have ... bootloop, of course) for now i use RessurectionRemix - no problem. (previously i used Pixel Experience, ViperOS, HavocOs... and many others - with no problem.) any sugestion ? u rom is broken or what ?

MoKee Open Source is the biggest non-profit Android Open Source development team in China, with members from all parts of the world. We follow the latest development from Google closely and improve various parts of Android according to the user habits. Being a non-profit organisation, we utilise our spare time and own funds to keep this passion alive. Therefore, the costs for the forum and servers are solely beared by us. In order to provide a good user experience, we only included a few preinstalls in the ROM. Along with the advertisements in the forum; we hardly get enough to pay for the bandwidth. The point is, those are our only source of income, however many developers choose to exclude them when releasing unofficial builds. Unlike CyanogenMod, we did not accept monetary help at the early stages, as in China, most people do not understand the meaning of “making a donation”. They would think of it as buying a service, which is conflicting with our objectives. Anyways, we still made it until today, and even started to provide third party developers a chance to utilise our OTA system. All of these are the fruit of our hard work and passion. We are proud of the happy users, and we are also proud of the support given to MoKee Open Source. How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, and Data (you might need to format the data partition!).
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Reboot and set up your device, enable developer settings and in them OEM unlock/Advanced reboot/USB tethering.
7. Reboot back into TWRP recovery.
8. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
9. Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! This might differ on AvB Devices.

About Project
ReloadedOS is an Android Custom ROM which is based on CAF. The main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as much as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. I hope that you'll all love this project, and help us, shape it even more better. Meanwhile, all of our sources are publicly available on our Github. Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. FAQ
Why is the security patch older than the latest AOSP patch?
CAF focus on delivering the latest hardware patches and are usually about a month behind Google on security patches, on the other hand, Google is usually a month or more behind on them on caf patches (sometimes months). No point in complaining about it, if you want the latest security patch, go with an AOSP based rom (like LineageOS), if you want latest Qualcomm optimizations for our hardware as well as fixes, go with caf, it's as simple as that.
