My A2
Hello, well it turns out that about half a year ago I decided to change the rom of my phone from android one to miui, but then I decided to return to android one and when I returned began to appear the logo of miui and not just android one, also now when I enter the fast boot this does not show any image I simply know that the screen is on
I was wondering if it was something that can be removed, in addition to asking for tutorial recommendations because I also want to format the phone to its factory state with android 8.1.
I also leave a video of how the phone currently starts, the video is accelerated btw
If you need more information of any kind I will be online

Just add the point between the bit and ly, i can not add links by now (less than 10 post, lol)
DDid you flashed or fully converted to MI6X without deleting firmware folder? because ithe case is the latter then as of now you are ARB4 and no way back to Android One

Hello,
First firmware I was using was Chinese firmware and it worked fine (OTA was updated to 10.3.17). I used it until I got permission to unlock my bootloader. Then every other firmware from Mi or Xiaomi.eu have this problem. I cannot calibrate compass - in compass application or maps app my direction is spinning all the time counter-clockwise. Spin speed is ~5 spins in 3 second. Tried to clean compass app cache - do not help.
Tried to test sensors - in "all specs" click 5 times on Kernel and enter CIT. Result - Accelerometer looks working fine, Gyroscope - Z axis shows -7 all time, Magnetic sensor - spins counter-clockwise all the time.
My bad I have formatted all system before flashing firmware, that may get lost of original "persist" and "vendor" images if they are required.
Summary - looks like gyroscope sensor is failured - Z axis shows -7 rad/s all the time and that makes some functions hardly usable. Compass included.
Phone did not had any drops all the time. Only magnetic car holder was used, but cannot remember it happened same day. It was used with previous phone too and it still worksfine.
I have tried many Cn stable Roms, Indian roms, EEA, Xiaomi.eu. Installing in fastboot mode. No one firmware works fine with compass application.
Several fastboots tried:
Code:
raphael_eea_global_images_V10.3.1.0.PFKEUXM_20190723.0000.00_9.0_eea
raphael_images_V10.3.6.0.PFKCNXM_20190516.0000.00_9.0_cn
raphael_images_V10.3.8.0.PFKCNXM_20190601.0000.00_9.0_cn
raphaelin_in_global_images_V10.3.3.0.PFKINXM_20190711.0000.00_9.0_in
raphaels_images_V10.4.1.0.PFKCNXM_20190827.0000.00_9.0_cn
Recovery ROMs tried:
Code:
xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20ProMI9TPro_V10.3.17.0.PFKCNXM_v10-9.zip
xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20ProMI9TPro_V10.4.4.0.QFKCNXM_v10-10.zip
Maybe you can suggest any possibility to fix this? I assume that should be software issue.
Did you ever flashed Q or Downgraded from Q to P?

Originally was Android 9. My first ROM flashed was Xiaomi.eu V10.4.4.0 - Android Q. Later tried Android 9 and Android 10.
I have just tried to install Lineage ROM over Stable CN 10.3.17 ROM - it misses compass app, but random app from net shows that compass works good. I mage a backup of all partitions. Maybe it is possible to restore some partition over working Xiaomi.eu ROM to keep Miui working and make compass work too?

Like others, most probably you broke your device sensors while downgrading. Do a clean restore of Android Pie with a fastboot image. Extract the persist.img from the fastboot package and flash it to the persist partition through LR TWRP. Reboot and Calibrate your front Camera and let other sensors Calibrate aswell. Do a hardware test (*#*#64663#*#*) and you should be able to see values for x,y,z axis for most of the sensors. If the compass still doesn't work, you might have a defective item.

Redmi K20 Pro persist backup required
I have tried steps you suggested and works everything except Gyroscope. As before. I have made testing using Sensors Multitool. Rotation vector Z is swinging from -1 to 1 all the time even if phone is still. Gyroscope info shows Z axis always -7 or more. Gravity reacts to movement, but unnatural. On Q everything worked until downgraded back to P.
I have found useful topic about this problem - https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-3-xl/how-to/android-10-sensors-bug-t3964904 . Reading through maybe will find something useful for my phone. I have never rooted my phone. Used Magisk few times. Persist.img I used was from Android 9 Chinese ROM 10.3.16 (As my phone is Chinese version). Persist.img was installed only with TWRP, it showed no problem when processed it.
Maybe someone can share backed up persist partition of Redmi K20 Chinese version? Hardware version in "All specs" page shows "Hardware version: V1". I got instruction to retrieve it. The following should put an image of the persist partition on the phone's internal storage. It should be executed on TWRP from Advanced > Terminal window.
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/by-name/persist of=/sdcard/persist_backup.img
I have made md5 checksums of all persist.img I have in each firmware. Despite file size is same, content each time is different.
Code:

1) Open root shell
2) dd if=/dev/block/by-name/persist of=/sdcard/persist_backup.img
3) Copy new persist.img to your sdcard home directory
4) dd if=/sdcard/persist.img of=/dev/block/by-name/persist

Hey, I have the same problem and this is getting me crazy. Have you solved the problem?
No, I got tired trying and now use phone with this problem. I get to much effort live without my new phone as I need on my daily life. Lineage os is not interesting to me too use for working sensors but without miui.

hmmm i am seeing a pattern , where many had problems after flashing roms , odd , anyway how to tell needle on the app is really facing north ?
It occurs also on my Mi 9T Pro with official global ROM... Compass spins constantly over Z-axis. It is especially visible for instance in Google Maps and annoys a lot. I think I will wait till MIUI 11 release and then maybe return this phone unless it will recover.

Yes, looks like it occurs with officials ROM too if ROM was uploaded by FASTBOOT mode. Stock sensor settings gets rewritten with universal settings which do not work as desired.
Yes it seems so. The worst thing is that, it was working just fine at the very beginning, compass was lost just few weeks after I bought the phone
In the meantime maybe there were two official OTA updates, nevertheless I cannot recall what could cause loss of this functionality.
Thanks for your comment anyway.

Even mine was screwed up..I taught I'll have to take it to service centre ....I had formatted system ...and when I installed fastbiit ROM..the gyroscope and accelerometer was not working.. unfortunately I had relocked my bootloader and had to wait for 30 days to flash persist file....so I just gave factory reset from settings a try..and it worked

You did factory reset from ROM version you have uploaded via FASTBOOT earlier and that worked? What persist file you have used? And how compass functionality - works? Fastboot ROM version accelerometer works fine, but compass fails.

Hi,

Thanks.
Hello, I would also like help to do the same thing .. so if a charitable soul would help us please! Me is especially for the wifi network which is really bad on Android 10 is the Stability. Thank you to those who come to help us
Hi Friend,
Let see if i can help you.
I come from LOS, after some hours i decide to come back to COS 6.1
You need to dowload COS 6.1 ozip custom recovery flashabe
Folow this steps:
Go to TWRP ( I donw know steps for OrangeFOX )
Wipe / Factory Reset ( Swipe to Right for Factory Reset )
Go to Install and Flash COS 6.1 OZIP
Reboot bootloader
Flash vbmeta stock img ( fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img )
Go to TWRP Again and Format Device ( Wipe - Format, write "yes" ) after format restart system.
If you want i can share a folder with all stuff
Sorry for my english
The X2Pro Community/Information is still small.
Im on COS 6.1 BL unlocked and Rooted, and i like, all funtions work, face unlock, nfc, fp, camera modes , Macro, Ultra HD, Slow Motion, Night Mode.
Later i will Lock BL and Remove Root, stay all original, and w8 for official update, no need to use VPNS or other stuff to update for last(Beta) roms, but im afraid brick device after lock bootloader.
If Realme sell X2 Pro with COS 6.0/6.1 it means the rom full working.
I prefer wainting for stable rom like COS or RUI.
If RUI has the same funtions like COS i update.
We have alot of good devs , but i read some stuff about Realme not release kernel sources, i dont know much about this...
Tell me if steps work for you.
go back to coloros 6 android 9

my issue is very stupid stupid stupid, did i say stupid already? the volume for in on call (non speaker mode) is SUPER loud. and yes i already have it all the way low.
it was high on coloros 6 android 9 but tolerable, but on android 10 its ridiculously loud - the office next to me can hear my conversations(and wifey when home) and i have to place phone like if i had it on speaker phone. did i already say this issue is stupid. anyone know a fix for this? (i know, i will create new post for my issue)
i really like this phone a lot for its price/spec and if there is no way to go back to coloros 6 android 9, im prob end up selling this just because of this stupid issue. Im in south cali fyi if anyone is interested in buying

This is what i have: Realme X2 Pro global or EU version with the new Android 10 version
I tried installing COS 6.1 from your link using stock recovery "Install from storage" but i get a "Installation failed The installed version is lower than the current", which i think means that i have a higher version of android and i want to install a lower version, and it is not allowed.
are you saying that i need to have bootloader unlocked to go back to stock COS 6.1?
in my case I already had the BL unlocked when I did the update. then I go back to Android 9. in your case with the BL locked it shouldn't be the same procedure
I update today to RUI because Im facing an issue with Buttom micro, not working. I update from COS 6.1 to RUI and the problem its the same. Its a hardware problem, only top micro works.

i updated to the latest C24 update and i still have the same problem, voice in-call volume for the earpiece is super loud that will make me deaf if i dont place phone at least 3inches away from my face(again, basically like if it was in speaker mode but its not), and i also have similar issue like you where i think bottom mic does not work sometimes. What i have found out with the mic is if i put the phone in speaker mode then switch back to earpiece mode, the bottom mic works(i think?). Have you tried something similar?
I know you dont have the same loud ass earpiece volume issue but the mic issue is similar to mine...did we get brick/lemon phones or is this more of a software issue? Why havent more people reported this then? or nobody here makes voice calls anymore?

I've tried downgrade from realmi UI for almost 24 hours, and only your tutorial helped.
Has anyone experienced something like this? It’s happening on my Xiaomi K20 Pro after I just updated it to MIUI 12 directly from the settings app
here's a video: youtu.be/ Mv-Qbgb0rR8 (I don't know where else to post this video, but I'm not allowed to post links)
Just in case the video wasn’t very clear, basically when I try to boot everything seems to boot fine to the lock screen, but if I try to unlock the phone with my pin it will just go back to the boot screen again, if I click on the emergency button it also does the same thing and if I just wait a little bit the same thing happens too.
It kinda reminds me of that wallpaper bug that bricked people’s phones, but I didn’t have any problems in MIUI 11 and my wallpaper is from the Google wallpaper app so I don’t expect that to be the problem.
I think it might be because my phone is running the international/global Rom instead of the original rom? I bought this phone used, and the software is saying that its a Mi 9T Pro instead of K20 Pro.
Can someone help me solve this? Or would I need to just factory reset? The phone is also already unlocked, so I was able to back everything up via a custom recovery, but reinstalling and setting everything back up again is just going to take a while, so maybe someone can help?
Maybe I could do something from the custom recovery (currently using orangefox recovery) to save this? I really don't want to factory reset
yes i am facing the same issue
At this point I wouldn't hold much hope on avoiding a clean install.
If you can access the data OK in TWRP/OF, I would suggest backing up your personal data, then try the following.
Dirty flash the MIUI 12 recovery ROM again.
If that fails, clean flash the MIUI 12 recovery ROM.
If that fails, clean flash the MIUI 12 fastboot ROM.
Personally myself, I would go straight to flashing the fastboot ROM, as it's the option almost guaranteed to work.
You can also try to factory reset your phone. Do you have TWRP?

Facing the same issue now. How did you solve it? I also have the Google wallpaper and just updated
Hi guys,
I've been a part of this community a long time now and again have a need for your help. Fortunately these forums have saved me from some bad situations and I thank you for your kind help.
So I have recently bought a mi 11 ultra that I am told is on global Rom, it has unlocked bootloader and is everything I always wanted it to be apart from a few problems.
The 5ghz WiFi does not work "most" of the time.
The updater does not update but does show me there are updates available.
I'm.unabke to sign out of the Xiaomi cloud on the phone and it's now trying to auto renew at some cost something I don't want.
The camera has some quirks as well and I'm sure that some or all of these are Rom specific.
I'm just really looking to get it all working it also needs resetting I think.
My phone is on 13.0.5.0
The updater says that the update is 13.0.9.0 the website says that weekly 13.0.1.11 is available.
Never having had a Xiaomi phone before I am unable to figure out what is the sensible Rom to put it on when I wipe it. I also only really know how to work a Samsung a Huawei but can't really find a guide with any of the ROMs I listed above in it.
Can anyone help me?
Thanksbrett
U should tell more details on 5g wifi problem
U MUST ask the seller about that mi account to sign out of it first, it like apple Cloud account
Your phone is now with xiaomi.eu rom, the best custom rom for 11U now, it base on official miui CN version with some mods for global users
Because of miui 13 is A12, and no custom recovery works with A12 so the only way to upgrade / flash rom is using Fastboot rom file with xiaomi flash tool
And rom always has 2 branch, stable and dev weekly beta. I think u already know what it jeans. So your phone is now with stable brand, u can find download link at xiaomi.eu

What details do you want?
it does not work most of the time that's all I can tell you?! I.e. sometimes it finds the 5ghz WiFi channel on my virgin hub 4 most of the time I can only use 2.4ghz which allows my internet speed down. I have 1130mb fibre with WiFi booster pods all over the house.
The mi cloud account is mine. How would the seller know anything about my account? It's not his account signed in it was a clean device when I received it it worked well until I tried to sign out. I could screen record it and.post if it helped. The account is attached to me, it's sending me the emails about renewal because it's only using the free space to back up and I have more on the phone then 5gb so it wants to upgrade the cloud storage which I don't want to do. and from what I read the only way to stop it renewing is to sign out. Which is why I wanted to do so.
I am supposed to be on best or most stable and its not stable and has faults that's kind of my point to why I want to try and upgrade it, it has faults so I want to wipe it clean and upgrade to the new weekly and see if i get a better result, if not I can always go back to the other version.
Would I be better off going back to miui 12.x.x?
Yeah bloody apple are a nightmare I have played that game before hahaha.
I don't mind totally custom ROM I just not sure how it's done on a Xiaomi.
So I need the xiaomi.eu Rom the Xiaomi flashtool which I'm guessing is similar to the one I use for Samsung?
Yeah I got that there 2 runs bit like the old nightlys on the aosp?
I just want to try and make some of the thinks that annoy me go away. As I said I can always go back I'm sure.

Weird, if this is your acc, why u cant sign out
Xiaomi.eu is called custom rom but it doesn't really like "custom" it just base on CN rom with some mods to make it "global" (original CN rom didn't have google services but u can easily install it)
In your case, u should download fastboot rom of xiaomi.eu lastest stable (u can find link in xiaomi.eu forum)
And read the instruction of how to flash fastboot rom and do it. Just remember to choose to "clean all" your phone will be flashed from beginning

Yeah it's really frustrating I press sign out the screen flashes as if it were going to ask me for the password then just stays on the screen it's on. I hope it's not going to hinder me when I update lol.
I Appreciate your time my friend.

Ah forgot about xiaomi.eu Rom. They already make it to a automatic script, so after downloading the rom, u only need to run the exact .bat file that u want (in your case is windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat)
