'Deep Precess Clean' on CN ROM - Nubia Red Magic 3 Questions & Answers

How do I disable 'Deep Precess Clean' on CN ROM? I know it is settings > Advanced on Global ROM. Is there an app I can use to find a hidden setting? Does anyone know the process or service name I can disable for the process clean? All of you with CN ROM how do you get notifications to work?

CN rom does not came with that feature, they are using phone manager instead of a simple switch. You need to set up the phone manager.

Phone manager? Is this an app or is it in settings? I am using CN ROM with English as a language, a few apps and one or two settings are still untranslated and in Chinese so maybe I am missing something.

It's called Neo Safe in CN ROM. There are a option called Power that euqal to the deep process cleaning in international ROM.

Thank you, I have changed the settings to not limit power for certain apps (email, message, snapchat) and it seems to partially work. Interestingly enough it seems like Snapchat only sends me a notification if I have the app open in RAM. If I close snapchat it won't send me any notifications. Maybe there is another setting for processes or services

Deep Process Clean Missing
Can anyone help me, i cannot find deep process clean in my new software update, i cannot receive message untill i login...please help me

I have updated CN ROM, this deep process clean equivalent in CN ROM is still present. Perhaps yours is a Global ROM? I saw someone posted that this deep process clean is gone after they updated

[ROM] Chinese Marshmallow ROM for ZTE Axon Elite (A2016) international

I was able to install Chinese ZTE Axon Elite (A2015) Marshmallow rom to my international version of Axon Elite (A2016). Wifi, mobile data network and calling works. All Google apps are working too, Chinese rom has google services installed but those are needed to be activated by allowing them run in a background. Only Chinese and English languages available, but system is working in your local language after installing More Locale 2 from Google Play.
This ROM is not rooted, so you need to install Super User in TWRP right after installing this ROM.

Changes:
Added modem files (modem.b00-modem.b22, modem.mdt) from international B06 NON-HLOS.bin.
Minor build.prop changes (e.g. changed English as default language).
Removed stock recovery.
Added Google Play, Google Contact sync, Google Calendar sync, Google Gmail, Google Exchange sync, Google Phone, More Locale 2.
Removed all possible Chinese ZTE bloatware (over 200MB). I had to leave Mi-Assistant so that it can be used for allowing apps running in a background (example Google Play, Super SU).
[*]Added stock Marshmallow boot animation and removed boot sound.
Features:
Latest Google Security patch
MiFavor UI 4.0 with new themes and fonts
Applications Avatar (I have no idea what it is)
Toolbox - including compass, noise test, ruler, protractor, level meter, paintings
Calendar, shows weather for five next days
New Desktop backup and recovery capabilities
Long screenshots
More system Sleep functions
Smoother UI animations
SMS two-finger zoom
New power limits
Enhanced ZTE lock screen
...and some more which might not be useful in other countries than China (please check more details from: http://www.myzte.cn/thread-270646-1-1.html)
Working:
Wifi, mobile network, mobile data, bluetooth.
Fingerprint scanning.
Google Play services + other Google apps are working too (like Calendar, Contacts sync), but must be activated in Mi-Assistant Auto-start manager and allowing permissions in apps. Please see attached images for example.
Bugs and limitations:
NFC doesn't work.
Only Chinese and English languages, but it is possible to use More Locale 2 app (included in ROM) to change locale settings. Then apps (and part of the system) are working on your defined language. On my opinion it works just like in B06. More Locale requires Root access and executing ADB command (app shows the needed command) to change locale.
Download (B15M beta, updated 09.09.2016):
Mega https://mega.nz/#!cRAXTbqQ!UYTEzWb4AH5yZbcI4fK_09QBM5TYgvCCMMl1uTijetE
Based on the tip from @martas.vavra, I removed stock Chinese recovery so TWRP is not deleted after installing this rom.
Working Super user can be downloaded here https://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/57550023717f4/SuperSU_V2.62-3.zip. Thanks again @martas.vavra.
Quick steps:
(optional) Backup all apps by using ZTE own backup/restore app. It's then possible to restore apps after rom installation.
Install TWRP+root by using the method by @acer73: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zte-axon/development/zte-axon-elite-a2016-twrp-root-t3237760
Copy ZTE_Axon_Elite_A2016_unofficial_B15M_09092016 to SD card.
Boot to TWRP recovery.
Do full backup in TWRP.
Do factory reset in TWRP.
Install ZTE_Axon_Elite_A2016_unofficial_B15M_09092016 from SD card in TWRP. NOTE! Status bar is not progressing at all when installation is ongoing! Don't panic. Just wait, it will complete.
Install Super User .zip again.
Reboot. Please be patient, first boot will take minutes to complete.
After first boot is complete, start Mi-Assistant and enable apps (Google Play, Google Contacts, SuperSU... etc) in Auto-run Manager.
Enable app permissions for Calendar, Contacts, Phone, SMS, Storage in Settings -> Apps, App permissions.
Reboot.
(optional) Restore apps by using ZTE own backup/restore app. ZTE has removed Backup/restore app but here's download link for backup/restore app from B12M: https://mega.nz/#!hZQ2HTbb!IvTJu17kjibXGSJBsRUutz0wwPZL0XlruDVAyExqsC8
Note to users: I'm not responsible if you brick your phone, so please be careful!
Thank you for your efforts! Great to hear that there are only minor bugs. :fingers-crossed:
Leaves me thinking about why ZTE does not provide this update by themselves if there are only few things needed to be adjusted in order to make this work...

Like already mentioned, when trying to add PIN lock, settings will force close. I also compared international B05 and Chinese marshmallow rom files and noticed differences on fingerprint modules and apps, so I believe we are out of luck here.

I think that copying that files, modules and apps would be possible, from one to another, won't you? I have no idea of how to doing it, but maybe it is easy for someone experimented in rom's modding.

Unfortunately I don't know, because I was testing this rom just half day. On that time I didn't notice battery drain. I returned back to B06 because my phone has to be password protected and I just can't live anymore without fingerprint scanner.

Probably it's nothing to do with fingerprint scanner. I checked logcat file and settings will force close before that. Settings will force close right after trying to enable PIN code lock.

With cyanogenmod there has been similar issues with some devices and error has been caused by wrong baseband (https://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/118507-cant-enable-screen-lock/?page=3), which means that users have not been updating the baseband before updating the latest version of cyanogenmod. This might be the same issue, I used lollipop baseband to get this work.
I created new version based on latest Chinese B10M (previous was B09M):

I don't know what kind of changes they have done for this version, but in our A2016 it has the same issues than previous version (security settings force closing etc.).

Easiest and the best way is to take full twrp backup first before installing this rom. Then it can be restored in twrp and phone is restored to the state it was before.
If backup is not made, then stock B05 update.zip needs to be installed in recovery (in stock or twrp).
@kacsa105 pointed out that adb root method doesn't work anymore with B10M. I didn't notice it because I installed recovery + supe su in right after I installed B10M in twrp.
If you are now in stock Chinese recovery, then follow these steps to restore stock B05 in stock (Chinese) recovery:
1. download B05 from:
http://download.ztedevice.com/UpLoadFiles/product/643/6549/soft/2016042111364202.zip. Unzip it and find update.zip
2. place update.zip to phone internal SD card
3. shut down your phone
4. reboot to recovery: Press and hold Volume up button then Press and hold Power button. When ZTE logo appears, stop pressing Power button but continue pressing Volume up until it goes to recovery.
5. It should be now in stock Chinese recovery. You need to use volume up/down buttons and move it to the selection where is written something on Chinese but with letters SD (which means your internal SD card). Press Power button to select it.
6. Use vol down to navigate until you see update.zip and choose it with power button. If I remember correctly, you need to confirm Yes (it should be in English if I remember it correctly).
7. After it has been updated, recovery asks something again in Chinese. Don't change the selection, just use power button to select what it proposes, and system will boot.
Just wait until your phone boots back to system. If it keeps crashing, just power it down and reboot again to recovery. Recovery should be in English now. Then clear cache and dalvik (or was it factory reset?) and boot to system again.
Google play crashed, when download big data games. Solution pls

I'm not using this rom because PIN lock screen and fingerprint doesn't work (CM has these issues too). Then it has some China specific in the settings. Be careful when installing this B10 rom, you need to install twrp recovery + root again in recovery right after flashing this rom. Otherwise you will loose root and recovery is replaced by stock Chinese.
On my opinion this is not worth of flashing, you don't even notice major differences. In some devices Marshmallow has improved performance and battery life, but I didn't notice any difference. I'm using stock B06 (5.0.2) with xposed (+some modules installed) and I'm happy with it.
Of course this rom is fun to try if you want to test how Marshmallow will look in our device.

Push notification issues ZUI 3.5.344ST

I don't get notifications working. Tried just about everything. Different stock roms, unlocked or locked bootloader, with or without twrp, with or without SuperSU/Magisk root...
In SafeCenter, and in later 3.5 Roms 'Security' app I disable all auto accelerate, anti spam, antivirus, auto cleanup. I white listed all apps/associated apps in autostart.
Enabled/disabled USB debugging.
Disabled all apps in Battery optimization
Sync on in account settings
In notifications settings everything enabled.
And still I don't get no freaking notifications! Only if open the app the notification appears..
Anything else I could try, and please don't tell me to use custom ROM! I want to get this fixed, it should be possible right?!
Edit;
Currently running 3.5.344ST/unlocked/twrp/supersu root
did u use a backup to restore apps or did u fresh install from store?
move app for /system/priv-app
Was it solved by moving into system/priv-app?
Did you get to the bottom of this ?
It makes a difference if you upgrade from very old ROM versions, or newer versions.
E.g. I started with ZUI 1.9xx (QFIL) and then OTA all the way up to the newest version (3.4xx)
Everything basically worked, but I had battery issues and some notification issues which I couldn't fix.
Then I tried to encrypt my device and it critically failed, so I had to switch to a new ROM anyway.
Then I took the newest possible full ROM for QFIL, I think it was ZUI 3.1xx and then OTA the short way up to the newest version.
Now Everything works, also encryption and with good battery life and notifications. But I feel the ROM is a little less snappy then before, maybe because of encryption.
Besides it still has 2 turn-downs:
- Some apps like Amazon Prime Video complain about an "uncompatible device ID" thus won't start
- Language is english and I can't manage to change the language permanently (not even with morelocale and ADB commands)
So our ZUK2 Pro's always have some funny behaviour... But I really feel the device is at its best now after ~1 Year in my pocket.
€dit: All with locked bootloader and without root

Need help to find rom which is stable and have ability to control notification led

I have Oneplus 3t with 7.1.1 android. Only issue I am having is that if I turn Notification light on, there is no option to turn battery full, charging, and low notifications off. With them on i cant use the light at all, because it will light up my whole bedroom. I red from online that Light Flow is the best app that could have sleep time without notifications etc. but when i tested it, it could not turn those charging lights off. Is there some way to bybass this? Never seen issue like this before. I am not sure is it just bug that disable option is missing or such. I have been using this feature since 2013 with nexus 4 so unbelivable its missing from this.
It seems custom rom is only way to fix the problem, but what is stable enough for daily use? If I could fix this issue on normal rom I could use it for years, because there is nothing that i am missing or what i would need more from my phone.
If you don't want to change ROM, you can use Xposed and GravityBox, unless you use Android Pay or other SafetyNet protected apps

Are you rooted with SuperSU or Magisk? If the latter, then you can download Xposed through the Magisk Manager, then install Xposed Manager and GravityBox app.
GB has the feature to control LED for all apps, unfortunately the free version is limited to 50 reboots (full version costs about 4 USD).

Is there any rom that would contain this automaticly without needing to do those things?
I have messed up my whole phone every time I have tried to update, because of the encryption. I am pretty sure that dirty flashing will mess up once again. Last time I tried magisk It did not work for some reason so i had to install supersu instead, because i allways need to root for adblock.
The second thing i hate in this phone is the constantly coming reminder that there is update avaible. With going to custom rom or such i could get rid of that problem too.

I don't think so and even there are such ROMs, and I wouldn't depend on them. Consider doing a clean flash and/or another ROM.

This is the nature of stock ROMs, unfortunately, but you should be able to hide this type of notification (long-press on it and disable the notification, but it's not always possible).

When i got phone and updated and rooted it i managed to get it not to recognise anything meaning soft bricked. Then time went by and i decided to update phone when I was told the root will stay, but then encryption once again soft bricked everything. Never seen **** like that on any phone so I did not know there is such thing. Just one step more to make things harder.
Now I am wondering does that encryption mess things up today when i will install paranoid 7.3.1. Atleast i put up fastboot etc. ready on my computer so it will be easier to fix.

I personally can still install the apks without problems. I didn't need to try adb sideload. otherwise I would not have loaded the list. Thanks mate, and I give you a little advice about unlocking the bootloader: it gave me an unlock error even though I never unplugged the Mi account from the device and it was all hours past. With the latest version of the MiUnlock it gave me an unlock error despite everything being in order. I solved by installing version 2.2.624.14. I'll tell you just in case :fingers-crossed:

Because as i said, this is a Debloat, i use third party apps for my personal configuration. especially in packages like in this case "calendar"; it is not difficult to guess that doing a debloat eliminates a related service. That's why I always say to make a backup.
Except that removing the calendar provider doesn't allow the google calendar app to work (the play store version, not the one installed by default). It is completely unnecessary to remove it (again, the provider, not the app) and I wouldn't consider it bloatware at all.

I tried fastboot EU rom global rom, none worked. It's weird because I previously had this ROM, since it was the one that updated my phone when it arrived and it worked perfectly, I even did a wipe and lock in miflash
I think it has something to do with vendor version, not sure , just wondering
I had this problem when I switched to stable from weekly. I did a clear data for permission manager then it got solved
I fixed it by flashing an miui 10 fastboot rom with miflash and then updating it by ota to miui 11
I am running into the same issue. And it's making my phone unusable. I tried the fix suggested by the OP and flashed a miui 10 ROM and then upgraded it over OTA but the issue is still present. I can't seem to find the permission manager app to clear it's data in order to try the other fix. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

I am running into the same issue. And it's making my phone unusable. I tried the fix suggested by the OP and flashed a miui 10 ROM and then upgraded it over OTA but the issue is still present. I can't seem to find the permission manager app to clear it's data in order to try the other fix. Can somebody point me in the right direction?
Click to collapse
You go to Settings => Apps => Manage Apps => on the top right of screen touch on the 3 vertical dots then select "show all Apps" then search for "Permission Manager", it will show up to over 300 apps. If you can't search then select Sort by App name then scroll down to find the "Permission Manager" app.
I have the same problem and fixed with clear data of Permission Manager app.
