Leaked Open Beta 9?

just read this on the OP forums. I am running stock 3.2.8 and waiting for stable versions of Nougat but if any one of you guys can verify if this is real go at it: (at your own risk)

Android Pay working on this build for me, it seems. Took the risk and seems to be legit. B8 I had only minor issues with but this already seems a little smoother, it passes Safetynet (B8 did not) and I was able to add cards to AP whereas with B8 I couldnt.

Thread seems to be deleted. Was somebody able to download it before?

I was bored of the S7E and I changed to OP3 and I like it even more

All systems nominal. Don't know what the change log is though, it doesn't show up in the updater.

Any1 flashed it on OB7 or we need to be on OB8 to flash it?
I am on FreedomOS nougat.

They still did not bring back volume down to vibrate.
What are their devs paid for, new accent colors?!?!

Thanks, updated... in first post...

Do keep track of version of firmware you have installed. I must have hard bricked my Mi 6X, by trying to install any version of firmware from TWRP, after reboot it was dead.
It's been almost a month, still have to wait till November when I next goto China, hopefully I can claim warranty for that, I bought it in China. Read on Baidu Tieba, many people has similar issue, have to replace the whole logic board.

None. Just be careful with flashing of firmware. Don't "roll back" to older firmware, like I did, unknowingly.

about the "anti rollback" (I won't call it a feature), you should dig it further.
as an example to check whether or not a device had that ARB thing can be seen here:

to be fair, the ARB issue should concern to every single xiaomi device which still receiving xiaomi support (updates)

If I have MIUI10 8.8.23 EU and flash to AEX may it brick because of ARB???

please don't take this as an offense (english is not my first language), I just need to send the point
not every rom /firmware shipped by xiaomi had the "Anti Roll Back" (ARB), I personally owning the Mi 6x and had rolled-back from 9.5.11.0 to 9.5.7.0 without any issue.
I've completely forgotten since when did xiaomi implemented this ARB, but I'd stay away from anything beyond 9.5.15.0 (since the LOS 15.1 for Mi 6x by Isaac Chen is based on 9.5.11.0, I probably don't need anything beyond 9.5.11.0).
to check whether or not our device is "infected" by the ARB, one can type this command while on fastboot mode:
"fastboot getvar anti" (without the quote marks)
if the command return <4, then it's safe to rollback.
else if the return is 4 (or greater), then it had Anti Roll-Back, and you should not roll-back.

if you just download a complete fastboot rom, I'd recommend to read this thread carefully:

all the treads I've mentioned are do related to the redmi note 5, but in the end I think every xiaomi device with active support from xiaomi will be facing the same fate.
I'd suggest anyone with "anti 3 or less" to refrain themselves from updating their rom, if they still intended to switching apart from miui.
saying don't roll-back from your current rom, should be safe for anybody.
but for somebody with "anti 3 or less" this can put them at disadvantage since probably the custom rom were based on something older than what they're currently using.
for Mi 6x, I can say that if you're still on 9.5.11.0 it's still safe to roll back.
I'm not quite sure when did the xiaomi started to implement the ARB on the development rom, though.
from what I've gathered so far, the ARB are also including the firmwares.
so if one had "anti 4" don't flash older firmware to their device.
the ARB matter should worth to dig further though, and maybe deserves it's own thread since I'm afraid it might discourage and confuse people when switching to custom rom.

Our device got MIUI 10 Stable on xiaomi.eu as well.

AOSP based ROMs won't brick your device. Only MIUI based ones do. Always remember to make sure you are installing latest version release when you go back to MIUI based ROMs or Stock Based ones.

According to what I've seen and read, the Chinese version has a different partition table, as well as A/B. So my question is when a Lineage Rom is developed, will it be compatible with the Chinese version?

All 5g versions have a different partition table which means nothing because we aren't repartitioning the device. The only thing that changes is the boot.img there's two board pine which is any 4g version and poad which is any 5g version. LineageOS is already developed I do own the phone now and plan on releasing it for the US version this week and slowly other versions.

Like any OS port, everything starts as Unofficial and likely end up Official,
Everything depends on how much free time the developer have to get things iron out and ready for the next big step,

Cool stuff man. On the assumption it is the exact right one for our device, what version
does it restore the phone to? As far as I've read and can tell using an MSM tool on a device
re-locks the bootloader, so unlocking would still OTA kill you. If its sufficiently early on
in the OTA train I can extract the reserve.img from it so you can immediately unlock after
restore and get back on the OTA dole.

If the filename includes anything other than "hotdogg" it is not the correct one.

Sweet, hopefully this gets up fairly quick. I have my old 7tpro I'd like
to do the OTA test with if this is an old version.

this is strictly for TMOBIle branded oneplus5g
it does not have the paths for other otas or models etc.
PLEASE dont use that on your phone you may brick it

@Logix these files are the wrong files, they're meant for 7T-TMobile.
If it was meant for 7T Pro T-mo 5G Mc Laren project value would be 19861 (and .HD63CB file would be .HD61CB)

So... Is "hotdogt" the T-mobile 7T or 7T Pro then? An extended Google search turned up nothing on that. I would assume that the OP is posting in the 7T Pro forum because that's what this is for, and we definitely know this is for a T-mobile 7T phone of some kind.
Edit: Nevermind. After further digging, I see that Some_Random_Username had the right of it. HD63CB definitely seems to be the regular 7T from T-mobile. Sad day for all of us

hotdogt_11_O.01_191210.ops is the wrong file for HD1925, it will not flash on most HD1925 models due to "Device not match image". If it did somehow flash due to messed up param or other partition, the flashed phone would not subsequently be able to OTA update.

Can I use this for Indian version of Mclaren edition ?

Anyone got the Android 10 beta update package for rm3s? We can flash it for a manual update

As far as I know. 3 people have it. And they won't upload it due to Nubia saying it was not to be made public.

At least they are working on it and it gives me a peace of mind

I was told its no longer in development by a reliable source. The last beta was from last year and nothing new since. So I wouldn't be holding your breath for it. And If they do push it out I bet the bugs it has won't be fixed so the Android 9 ROMs would probably be better daily drivers.

Android 10 is not coming for the RM3 and RM3S. Here I'll explain the beta
The beta was a way to test some of the stuff for the RM5G. They got some RM5G samples out and those were used to test. The update won't come.

You know what an NDA is? It won't be uploaded and it won't be released by them. 3 people got that update. All had to do a NDA prior to getting it because slot of the new stuff thats in the RM5G is in that rom.
