Anyone using rootless launcher?
I can figure out why the weather doesn't show, I get date only.
Pixel bridge installed, and I get weather with correct location in the google feed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Well, as the title says, after downloading the app I get an error that it can't launch, it also doesn't appear in the app tray. Maybe it's not meant to launch because it's an addon, but I don't see any extra options in the weather widget app. Any help?
u dont launch it. it replaces the standard forecast when you click on the weather widget. so to "launch" u have to have the weather widget first on your homescreen. you are suppose to download and install the addon through the weather widget settings page. also u have to be running the donate full version.

It installs but any attempt to actually drop any size widget on a screen fails without error (I ensured a feed was selected, etc).
Apparently needs a few tweaks for 3.0.
If you think I'm missing something in the configuration, let me know.
For some reason, it wasn't found when searching through the market. When I used appbrain, it allowed me to install. Not sure if this is a Google Market issue or not.
I added the widget and chose Reuters feed and it seems to work so far. But I am using LauncherPro. Not sure if that matters.
LauncherPro works but when I use the default Honeycomb launcher, error as attached.
"This widget requires a launcher that supports the scrollable widget API, such as Zeam, ADW, HPP or Launcher Pro......"
The default Android launcher doesn't support scrollable widgets. I'm really surprised Google hasn't added it yet...

Uh.. have you seen the new Honeycomb Email, Gmail, and Calendar widgets?
Spoiler alert: They are scrollable.
Although the API is going to be different, app devs just need to check for launcher type/version and act accordingly.
Hi,
I just bought my first Android device yesterday (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) and I'm having trouble understanding how to implement the themes shown in the link below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2084351
There's one in particular I'd love to install. I'm not sure what it is called but it's located about a quarter of the way down the first page and was created by BRKotucs. The theme is white/redwhite in colour and this info is displayed below it:
Launcher: Apex Launcher Pro / 10x8 Grid Size / Hide Status Bar and Dock / set Margins to None.
5 Widgets : 5x2, 5x2, 4x4, 4x4, 5x2.
11 Hotspots : Google Search, Time, Date, Screen Off (weather), Gmail, WhatsApp, Google Music, Camera/Gallery, Phone/Contracts, Browser, Messaging.
Weather Widget : Eye in the sky
Calendar Widget: Simple Calendar Widget

I'm running Nova Launcher Prime and I've also installed widget locker. I've absolutely no idea how to install this theme. Can anyone help? If anyone could provide a dummy step by step process that would be great (sorry, I'm completely new to Android).
Can it be done completely through my phone or will I need to use my computer too? I previously tried to download the shapes provided in the info above but Dropbox kept saying they were empty.
It would be great if anyone could help me.
Thanks in advance,
Shuffles03.
Has anyone been successful at adding weather widgets to the Nova home screen? Is it possible for updates without tethering?
I searched the topic several places, but have been unable to find a clear answer.
Thanks

I installed Android weather & clock and sense analog clock widget and both work fine. Have to manually configure town and disable all GPS and things.

I went through quite a few to find a widget that displayed ok on the small screen. Eye in Sky was decent but I'm currently using Beautiful Widgets.
To my knowledge you must be tethered for third part widgets, otherwise you have to use the stock Weather widget.
Hey,
Got a trouble. When I want to change my wallpaper for the ones from "Google wallpapaers" I can not because system forcing me to chose from one of two system built in animated wallpapers. Any advices ?
Cheers
Sadly no advice, but same issue, just two built in wp, even when I have more installed.
Actually the animated wallpaper selector shows all installed wallpapers (i.e. Kustom etc) when accessed from long pressing the home screen. It's just the Google app that give this result.
