[solved] xiaomitool problem, help!

I have a new Mi Max 2, can not link the account on the phone, to unlock the bootloader, I read that to solve the error 68006 it was necessary to install a global dev. What I did with xiaomitool. Catastrophe, he never wanted to restart normally, since 3 hours he is on the MI logo. I tried to reboot, wipe all data, etc., always the same. you need to go back to bootloader mode and flash again a dev rom (choose fastboot type).

you can flash a global dev rom with locked bootloader (in fastboot mode).
unlocking bootloader can be your next step.

yes, miflash can do that, it contains also the fastboot program.
You've got also batch files in the zip (just unzip on your hard disk before) to do the job.
depending of your operating system, they are called flash_all_except_storage.sh or flash_all_except_storage.bat.
very simple, connect your mobile in fastboot mode and launch your batch as administrator.

it did not work. My pc is in Seven so I do not know if I took it well.

Ok, it's cool :good: I managed via xiaomitool (hey yes, lol) I tested the FastFlash mode, with the phone plugged into Mi assistant (LED) he offered me the choice between several rom, I chose global dev first and second choice, then go. it took at least 30 minutes to work and the phone restarted, yoooouppi!
So awesome! I immediately tested to link my account to unlock the bootloader, cool no error message :good: then Miflash Unlock, 72 hours of waiting.
The installed rom is Miui Global 7.12.21 Beta.

yes, there are only a few hours left to unlock the bootloader, rooter and install twrp. By cons I did not find the Updater in Tools, or elsewhere?

it is rather while one is in stock rom that unlock the bootloader, usually

I have flashed a global BETA before unlocking. If I remember well, it 's a step in the xiaomi howto, maybe it also works with stock rom but I don't know and can't help you more, sorry.

Bootloop after january update, locked bootloader and EDL flash error. Need help!

Hi, after the january update my Mi A2 got stucked at Android One logo.
Bootloader is locked (OEM Unlock option NEVER was checked), phone enter in fastboot mode but there's nothing that can i do.

Please help, my phone is bricked after this update, and all i've tried don't work.
Don't know what to do, any suggestion or the steps to solve it? Thanks!

In worst case scenario u can send it to warranty. They will fix it, but you probably will need to pay shipping fees

Try keep rebooting the phone until it boots back to Android.
If can't try boot into recovery by pressing volume up and power button at the same time, if you get "no command" error, press power button and you are in. Perform a factory reset.

Question I locked the bootloader by misstake

Hello, what I did was the following:
1. signed on a new phone with account A, waited a week and unlocked the bootloader
2. signed on the same phone with account B
3. flashed fastboot rom on the device with mi flash tool, but forgot to uncheck the " lock the bootloader"
4. the phone is not starting - i can only get the recovery and the fastboot mode.
5. mi flash tool wont let me flash to locked device . Mi flash tool2 makes me go into Mi assistant mode, starts the instalation process but failes after a few mins ( on the pc i reach ~ 700% but on the phone the bar is on 4.99 or 52.78 % )
6. Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tools doesnt want to flash as the device is locked and if i try the OEM UNLOCK button i get "FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))"
7. If I try to unlock the bootloader again and I log account B i get message that i need to log on the phone and wait for a week
If i log accont A i get this :

They might have more underlying tools to unlock and flash your phone.

fastboot flashing unlock
for most of aosp rom this is the command. but i'm not sure that works on miui. i found a java tool that maybe can help you. https://miui.blog/any-devices/xiaomi-adb-fastboot-tools-one-utility/ i have used to debrand my phone without unlock it

I had to send it to a friend of mine who was able to install chaina rom, using EDL mode, but now, for some reason the IMEI's are gone. I can not add mi account, and for that reason I can't unlock the bootloader, right now I am battaling with the IMEI restoration ( i have the original imei's on the phone case) I am trying to use modem_meta_tool, but with no suxcess . I can't get my phone connected
Long story short, EDL mode was needed to get out of my original situation

seem you have lost imei cause you have installed china rom. or a rom incompatible with your region. try install global rom via edl. but if you lost imei, restore it is not simply... you can try to enter into engineering mode. i'm not sure but there's a function to change imei. but not working for all mtk processors

Question Soft-Bricked - How to Recover?

Hy Guys,
i rly need your helps.
I Installed the Xioami.eu A12 Beta Rom (and used the windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat).
The Script runs thorugh the installation process and after that my phone did a reboot.
And now it appears the screen with
"This device is locked,
This device is associated with an existing Mi Account. For security reasons, you need to enter password to verify the device"
but it seems that the touch screen is not working, so i can't select the network or move into the enter password field.
After seome seconds the phone reboots and ends up in the same screen.
1) Bootloader is unlocked
2) Enter Recovery is still possible (and via MiAssistant recognized by windows)
3) Enter Fastboot is possible but not reconized by windows anymore
but i dont know how i can now get my phone back to work ;-(
I hope someone can help my and let me know what i can do.
For the Final Solution i will pay 25€ as a little gift ;-)
//Edit: Ok i can now Enter Fastboot again (via MiAssistent an then "abd reboot fastboot") and its recognized in windows but when i try to reflash the A12 i got a lot of errors:

You might have fully bricked it, the initial problem you was just about entering you Xiaomi account password cause your device is protected by find me the xiaomi find device APp

try to recover with the venus engineering rom which was posted

1. Enter in fastboot mode.
2, reflash xiaomi eu 12.6 21.22.10 (and use the windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat).
3, phone autostartup
4,first screen go to wireless, set
5.Back, enter yours passord an your xiaomi mi user.

You can try two others things because apparently you have access to fastboot mode
1/ Flash lastest Stable Xiaomi .eu A11 from TWRP (Boot TWRP, format data, reboot TWRP, flash Xiaomi.eu)
2/ Flash AOSP ROM from LOS Recovery (but you must have a stable base A11 MIUI before)
and you don't have locked device prompt on the AOSP rom

redmi note 9 bootloop,help me plz!

hello,xiaomi redmi note 9 of my friend,he just know where is on/off button and graphics icons.
he give me the phone in bootloop whit Redmi on screen.
hard reset no help,flash firmware or update error or end at 4.99%.
recovery look's ok,i can select reboot to system/wipe data/my assistant but no help.
Fastboot mode available but bootloader locked,if i try to unlock bootloader whit official app after some check's the web app suggest me to add mi account on the phone menu' but impossibile bcz phone not start
so i try to flash whit some tools...no succes,only flash by XiaomiADB whit phone in "MI assistant mode" try to flash but almost always error server or "custom flash not allowed" or similar.
i don't know what firmware have,
only info by screen of Xiaomi Mi Pc Suite i see "Version V12.0.3.0.QJOEUXM" and update available to "V12.0.10.0QJOEUXM" but if try upgrade still freeze at 0,00% or 4.99%.
Flash whit XiaomiADB give me error descripted as before maybe pics help me to more clear explain,i see on phone screen incremental upgrade bar but stop at 4,99%.
XiaomiADB format data success but not help to boot.
Opened phone and no hard damage or water inside,disconnect battery not help.

You can flash safely using spflashtool.
Just avoid to flash using FORMAT ALL mode, it will clear NV too.
If you flash using FIRMWARE UPGRADE mode, it will clear userdata only and relock bootloader.

what kind of firmware need? (fastboot? update? recovery?) and what version suggest?

i try to flash fastboot rom official,gave an flashtool error BROM etc so i switch to Firmware upgrade,flash start but end as can see at 23%.
now phone start whit redmi logo then show fastboot bunny...
what i can do now?

i try whit vol+ press,battery connected,download green key then connect usb cable.
flash done,look's all ok but...no imei 1 and imei 2
absolutely never used Format!!!

sorry for annoyng messages,
after 1st settings of the phone and ime check i try reboot,
phone starts but still freeze on MIUI logo,
recovery menu' available,fastboot available,bootloader still locked.
actual version flashed is v12.0.3.0qjoeuxm

some days after...finally end of the sad story
just for info,maybe help someone.
flash the engineering rom,write original imei sim 2 whit maui meta (imei on the original label package),
imei operation can do whit some methods,pytoon/libusb or mct mtk tools but maybe not need bcz the Engineer ROM look's open at mods,
switch on the phone and see very simple android system,*#06# imei appear on SIM 2,look at phone info and show imei correct but single sim,not big problem,look's all done,put sim card in and try to call,is all ok,still engineer ROM,
so i want restore the MIUI,i try the same as before crash,the V12.0.3.0.QJOEUXM,
always error in spflashtool,sometimes writing "cust. image",sometimes during "super",
whit auth file and whitout,same scatter of ROM or another for same version,always error during flash
i try to wipe data from recovery menu' (available)....result...lost imei again
so,tired,i repeat all,Eng ROM,maui meta imei,and new version (fastbootfile) V12.0.4.0QJOEUXM whitout AUTH file in FIRMWARE UPGRADE,flash done,
TADA...after MIUI boot correctly i check imei and,surprise,i have all 2 available and all 2 IMEI exact
Phone alive,SIM 1 and 2 working
i stop OTA auto update from MIUI option because i dont know what can happen if phone upgrade MIUI,notice me info about thanks.
