After updated to Pie, Mi A2 is not showing the incoming call screen or notifications.
The device is making the sound for the incoming call, but no screen or popup to accept this. Once the call is over, I can see the missed call notification.
The callers are thinking that I'm not picking the call intentionally.:crying:
Please help me to resolve the issue asap.
Thanks in Advance
Make sure that in Settings -> Apps & notifications -> Default apps -> Phone app, you have indeed the "Phone" app selected.

Hi everyone,
Does anyone had the issue of WhatsApp calls not showing on screen? I get there banner that says there is an incoming call. But there's no profile picture/ID and swipe to answer option.
I have to unlock the screen to see who is calling.
I've tried disabling the hide contents, allowing to show on locked and disabling screen off clock. But they don't seem to make a difference.
It's quite annoying as now I have to unlock the screen to see who the caller is on WhatsApp...
Any one else has this problem or a possible solution?
CN ROM here.
I've tried messing with all the settings and notification settings but I still can't see the whatsapp incoming call screen.
It rings and shows but lock screen only.. doesn't show the incoming caller picture with answer/reject buttons like a normal phone call.
I have set it to allow notifications on lock screen.
does anyone else have this issue or if it works for you , can you share your settings ?
Ya me too.
Try Checking the battery saver page and turn off smart saver for whatsapp.
It's not a power management issue.
It's there OS lock screen blocking the WhatsApp caller screen. You hear the ring tone and see the icon on the lock screen notifying of incoming call.
You had to unlock the screen to see the caller screen to answer/decline
I've set up the function to forward all calls coming into my carrier number to my Google Voice number. Unfortunately, this has an annoying side effect of a notification from the phone app that says "Call fowarding is on - Forwarding all calls" which I cannot dismiss nor turn off. The notification will not swipe away, and the option to turn off this notification is greyed out (screenshot attached)
If you have any ideas for how I can disable this notification, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
I'm currently using a stock ZenFone 8 with an unlocked bootloader and I'm wondering if there's some way to disable call recorder notifications? Right now call recording works perfectly but after every phone call I get a notification telling me it worked and saved the call. I can't disable this notification because they come from the "Phone calls" app under "Asus Telecom" which is considered a system app which blocks me from disabling it's notifications.
Is there some way I can override this and disable the notifications from "Asus Telecom" without completely changing the OS?
hi, did you find solution? thx

Click to collapse
Settings -> Network & internet -> Call -> Advanced -> Call recording -> Call recording notification
I have a problem with calls. When I receive a call, I slide down to accept it and it immediately goes to the home screen. I can see the call icon in the notifications bar, and it is listed as a sticky notification, but in order to find it I need to scroll through all the unread notifications to find it. Sometimes I cant find it and have to clear the notifications in order for that to be the only notification in the list.
Another problem I have when I make calls (maybe the same problem) is that if the phone goes to the home screen for some reason (intentional or not), if I select the notification to go back to the call or if I select the call app via the recent apps button, it goes to the calls app as if I were to make a new call. I then need to click on a tab inside that app to get to the actual call.
Have you noticed these issues? I am running the stock OS.
