10h to full charge!!

Hello, my MI 5 not even a month old is charging very slow with orginal charger that came with mi 5 box, time needed is 6 to 10h (wall charging) from 10 to 90-100percent, pc cant finde device too. The first thing i checkd is adapter and cable, by using friends orginal charger and cable and the results are the same. Its charging af 300mA max, while for my friend more tthen 1800mA. Ive tryed everything, factory reset, difrent electric sockets, checking usb connector on phone, it looks clean and normal. I never did overcharge or anything that can dmg battery.. It just stoped with fast and normal charging.. Any ideas guys...
what's your rom ?
is the phone original for sure ?
8.1.1.0 maacndi miui 8 stable, yea its orginal. Phone was working perfectly, but 2 days ago it started very slow charge from nowhere. :crying:
Coincidentally, I just saw this thread at the same time my wife reported the same issue. She's on 8.0.5.0 and didn't previously have this issue.
It seems that since she moved to 8.0.5.0 the charging is slow
NO problems here,1h20m needed to full charge with QC 3.0 charger & cable

Help me with the fast charging please

First of all sorry for my bad english. My question is how to disable the fast charging on the p9 plus. I dont know if its true but I heard the fast charging reduces battery life in a long-term period.. Actually i play a lot of games on my phone and usually charge it twice a day so I think my battery will suffer a lot. I searched in options and I couldnt find how to disable it, do i need to buy a normal 5A charger? I have a samsung J7 charger can i use it or it will damage my phone? Or tell me how to change it to normal charging.. please help!
You can use any 5v 1a charger including the one of your Samsung and you won't have any fast charging

[Q] P20 Pro Charging

Hi folks,
If I use a normal USB plug and usb-c cable, is it ok to charge the phone overnight?
I know it won't charge fast but I don't need it to overnight!
I keep my original charger in the office at work.
Cheers
Simple answer, yes.
Any reasonable phone charger would be ok (5V2A or better preferably), it just won't fast change as you said (almost certainly at 5V2A max)

Samsung 15w charger and usb cable drains battery faster

So i recently purchased Samsung 15w cahrger and usb c cable pack from an branded shop it is original but i noticed something weird after charging the phone with this cable and charger my battery drains significantly faster
Help please
The charger i got with my phone stoppes working but never had this issue before
Help!!
Charging slower is always better for the battery.

Mi 9T Pro Not Charging Fast

Hello friends, my device has a charging problem, I did not find any schematic to solve the problem, it does not charge fast, I read somewhere that it said to change the Chargeing board, I changed it, my problem was not solved
I tried with a few cables and wall chargers, but it still did not work
The problem of fast charging for the phone is not detected by the computer
Thank you. If you find a solution, let me know in WhatsApp or under this post

What are you using to fast charge the phone?
To achieve maximum speed you need a charger that provides at least 27W through a single PD port or a single QC4+ port.
The standard charger provide with the phone is only 18W QC3 (though some models did ship with a 27W charger)

I tried with the two models you mentioned, but finally got a 200 mAh charge
Maybe share some photo and screenshots of battery apps

If you are using good quality, new cables, that are capable of carrying the increased amps required, then it sounds like a problem with the phone.

I think you did not understand correctly The amount of voltage and amp input to my device is less than 100%, maybe 10% less

I did not understand exactly what you meant. Where did I take the photo?
I have the same problem. Using the original cable and charger, but overnight it stopped charging fast. I have already tested it on 2 different turbo chargers and it does not exceed 800ma. I also noticed that when connected to the PC, the file transfer option no longer appears.

I think there is no solution to this problem at the moment, the only way is to use chargers that have Type C on both sides.
The secret is inside the charge.cable.
Maybe it is damaged so the phone doesn't recognise it as a QC-3 cable anymore.
I have the same issue.
I get max 1600ma. Tried changing the cable at first and unfortunately could get only 2.1A but even then max input is around 1500-1600ma.
USB c flash drive is not recognized by phone anymore nor does the file transfer to laptop work. Previouslyitt would detect both after a bit of jiggling around but no more.
Now that the flash drive doesn't work too I'm thinking it's the charging board/socket at fault.
Anyone here knows the cost of a new one?
My heaphone jack is getting busted too with scratching noises coming intermittently but mostly when headphone cable is touched or moved. (headphones work perfectly in other devices but just this phone giving issues. Thinking that some components in this phone were really cheap and having low life cycles. ?
