on traybar right? i have the same question, but no one can answer...
I would like to know that too. Right now the only thing that i know to find if the headset is connected is to open the dial pad and see the headset icon on top right of the dial pad.
Well...howzabout the blue light that blinks? If it's blinking and your headset is on, you're prolly connected.
lol. Blue light = Blue Tooth.
Plus saves screen space.

Is it just me, or does the hd7 lack any sort of vibration for notifications? Atleast for texts? The sounds on it are clownish so I'd rather just have no sound with a vibration on a text. Any way to do this?
Hit the volume rocker and touch the bell icon to turn on vibrate mode. Works for me.

yeah but then when your phone rings it wont ring it will only vibrate.
what the thread point is is that this OS is missing sound profiles were you select what each one does.

I don't think there is a way to do that yet. But there is an update coming soon for it, and I have heard rumors of copy & paste, custom ring tones, and a few other things. Hopefully custom ringers and flash will be included in this update.
So I get this random beep sound, every hour or so, but when i pull down the notification, I see no icons or messages. This is very irritating, any idea what it is or how do I switch off the sound?

Nope, I have BBS installed with active monitoring disabled. Also, I just realised that this beep sound happens whenever an app asks for location. Do you have any idea why?
When I get into my vehicle (2016 Ford F150) and turn the engine on my phone automatically connects to Bluetooth (Ford Sync) and the phone screen lights up with the "Loud Volume Warning" and I have to press OK for it to go away. I have also noticed that my Bluetooth volume on my device (SYNC) is always on Max and if I try to turn the volume down it just jumps right back to the Max.
Anyone else experience this or can test this in their vehicle? Since pressing OK on the Volume warning I believe it wont ask you again until you reboot your phone again.
That's how is always been to me.

So you always have to press OK to the Volume warning when first entering your vehicle everyday? Does your screen stay lit until you press OK or eventually turn off?
only when i adjust the volume on the phone.

Its to protect you from.. you.
Not just for the car. It happens over headphones as well.
Nanny "feature". Some cat on here made some kind of "script" to disable this automatically.

Try an app called "Bluetooth Volume Control", I find it useful for this issue.
You guys realize you can fix this without any extra software right... Just go into setting, sounds, volume, click the little three dots in top right corner for media volume limiter. Turn it on and slide the bar all the way up. Now when you get in your truck or connect headphones you won't get that stupid popup anymore

Doesn't matter, not a permanent fix anyway. After a reboot this warning still comes back.

God what a nightmare of a first world problem. I hate that notification
Any luck on finding a fix/

i have a 2015 Ford Fiesta ST with MyFordSync and when it connects with mine, it automatically jumps to bluetooth audio and restarts the last video/music file i had watched/listened to on my device. but for volume mine is the opposite, it's always all the down.

Yes go to developer options and turn on "disable absolute volume". By doing this my phone no longer turns on with this warning once connected to my vehicles Bluetooth.

Try the setting in the developer options as referenced above.

@xbmoyx , what theme is that good sir?
I tried the developer option above but the warning still appears when connecting to a bluetooth speaker.
I hate this so called safety feature, it should be smart enough to know when you are connecting headphones vs speakers or car systems. Better still a toggle (with disclaimer) to allow you to turn it off completely.

Maybe it depends on the type of vehicle you own? With Sync3 in my truck that option stopped it but of course I still get the pop up if I raise the volume too high telling me it's not safe to listen to music too loud.
This is already built in...Vibration>Volume>3 dots menu in upper right hand corner> Media Volume Limiter> Turn it off.

I think you mean on and turn up the slider all the way?
Cause mine has been off. I'm gonna try it on but volume set at max
We use the audio jack for our car sound systems...is there any way to disable the high volume warning popup notification?
Try with

sounds and vibration.
volume
3 dots top right
media sound limiter. set it then turn off

Yep same here.
It's an EU regulation apparently. You should be prompted once every time you reboot your phone. Afaik, no way to turn it off without root.
Simple fix
If your not tied down on freedom hating Verizon. Then get root, and go in and remove the limiters all together. Me I'm stuck with a locked bootloader on freedom hating Verizon.
Good luck
I have the unlocked Korean N960N and I can't find that option anywhere
