Has anyone tried unlocking honor play with DC unlocker. Found a handy guide that seems too good to be true. Dont have my phone with me right now so can anyone give it a try.

if can't get unlcok code, then better dont try to unlock bootloader. will avoid a lot of trouble

ialso have the same case as you and i just sent email to Huawei service center, and they will send you the unlock code

If it's in Chinese most likely it says you still have some time to go before you can unlock the phone.

so i really tried everything to get the unlock code for my honor 9 lite .. dc-unlocker,hcu client and now Email to Huawei and i got this response:

For me dcunlocker and hcu client did work on my honor 9 lite a few weeks ago. I did have to downgrade my phone to the oldest version but after that it worked . you can downgrade using firmware finder

Did you try this? I am just a noob but the files inside look like what you would expect from a twrp flasher. If it works, we might be able to root as well through magisk?

not sure how i clicked the apk for reno and it ask me to login and i logged in and its just a oppo service page. nothing about bootloader or any downloads on there.
This does NOT work because you can't unlock the bootloader on OPPO phones.
I'm having this parameter error when adding the account to unlock, I searched for several sites and I didn't see a solution. already removed the account, activated find device, deactivated and nothing worked

Yes you may already toggled on OEM unlocking in developer settings.
