Can you expand the notifications on the Lockscreen on miui 11? - Xiaomi Mi 9 Questions & Answers

I was wondering if poeple running the miui 11 beta could give me some insight...
Ever since I bought the phone, the fact that you cannot expand the notifications on the Lockscreen drives me nuts.
Also, can you finally expand the notifications with a pinch to zoom gesture on the lockscreen and while using the phone normally? I find it annoying having to tap on the arrow on the top right of the notification in order to expand it.
Thanks for the info

[Q] Help request - Status bar icon gap

I've tried to search through the forum and see if I could find the answer I need but haven't had much luck. Hope you don't mind my post. I purchased one of these on Monday and I love it to bits. However couple of small niggles. When wifi is on/connection theres a gap between the wifi icon and the others signal / battery / etc. Is there anything I can do to sort that out on its own?
On a side note. I notice voice commands (not google now) just force closes on start once again ideas on this?
Thankyou for your time. This is a fantastic phone with amazing battery life and speed. wow!

Forgive me if i'm wrong but after trawling all the mods I can find will change other things. Like icons to AOSP ones and such. I was hoping to make that simple change alone if it were possible. Sorry to keep pestering.

You can download moded framework and systemUI apk's decompile them and decompile original apk's of course too then you compare them and you can find your desired change.

[Q] 2 finger touch

can some 1 make the navigation bar like that of in nexus which would provide different options when pulled with sing finger and other option when pulled with two fingers
if m not wrong out device supports 10 finger multi touch simultaneously
so can some 1 make it
thanks
Well...
In nexus that two finger pull down brings up toggles. We have all in one screen.
So why complain?

Thats a default android 4.2 feature. We have 4.1. Its kinda tough to make.
Keep calm and wait for XDA's awesome developers to release aosp based ROMs for that feature.

Navbar - add a button to get the notification bar down?

Hey
Yesterday i got a used nexus 6, it's an awesome phone,I already love it.
But coming from a LG G3 I really miss the button in the Navbar that gets the notification bar down.
Is this possible? If so, anybody could help me with it?
Thanks in advance

How to remove the bottom white bar light thing?

I'm just coming over from a samsung s20 ultra and I'm loving the pixel. But how the heck do I get rid of that light thing at the bottom? I'm even using a custom launcher. Please look at screenshot. For me it serves no purpose and I don't want screen burn in or anything because of it
Good luck. Hope someone figures it out without lagging the Camera
You can make some changes in the settings. System/Gestures -
I changed it to the 3 button nav. I am old school... [emoji3179]

Thanks for that. I didn't know that was a part of the gestures. I love the gestures but wish that stupid bar could be made invisible

LOL, I'm surprised you didn't know about the gestures since Samsung is so enamored with them.
I hate it too but it seems like Google is just trying to copy Apple here as all the gesture based iPhones have it.
That's the area that triggers the gesture navigation. I think it's already too small as it is. Without it you'd have the system gesture area interfering with app space.

That would make sense but I'm able to do the gestures outside of the area as long as it starts on the bottom of the screen perfectly fine.

I know but some apps also have swipes right near the same area. I already have many instances where I have the wrong thing happen. I think getting rid of the gesture area would make that even worse.

Try flashing this. Hopefully it won't make your camera lag, lol!
Edit: you don't get rid of the gestures area, just the icon...

Works good for me with Nova.
Besides I am not up to par with the green haired freaks.

The white bar can be simply turned off on the Oneplus 7t and it makes absolutely no difference to how the gestures work, why on earth Google want it there is beyond me, it does absolutely nowt. I have sent feedback from the phone to google asking them to make it switchable, maybe if enough people do that they will act, however this is Google we're taking about and as far as i am concerned the feedback option simply sends your feedback in to an infinitely deep bin where they can just ignore it.

Pixel 5 is too different. Lots of public id's don't match. I made you one. Made from Pixel 4XL but works on Pixel 3XL also.

One thing. If you already had a systemui mod installed, this module won't take effect until you delete the previous module. Being that this is a vrthemer and isn't replacing the whole SystemUI, it should now contain the previous mod (if you had one installed) also.
So no way to remove the white bar without root?
