In armoury core there is something called hardware tuning where you can max everything out.

Dear Developers,
I am not much into mobile gaming, but I wanted to play a bit with Dungeon Defenders. I've installed the game, downloaded the content form the developers site, installed the game on the internal SD.
Unfortunately, the performance of the game is much lower than I expected on a TEGRA dual core device. The FPS is low, down to unplayable with multiple units at the dungeon.
Is there any solution for that? I have stock ROM, stock applications plus a few utilities (JuceDefender etc.) installed plus maybe 6 widgets.
Changing ROM is not an option for me as it voids warranty with my damn Polish LG branch :/
Help is very appreciated
Check if there are multiple other games running in the background like the pre instaled Shrek Karting and Spiderman games.
Kill the tasks or reboot and try again. I never played Dungeon Defenders much, but for the time I played it on the stock ROM it was absolutely smooth.

End all tasks using your task manager and then launch the game again, if for some reason the performance doesnt improve much then lower the video enhancement in the settings and that should make it run very smothly.
Overclocking to play this game helps alot too but it causes it to get hot like above 43c which isnt good.
Yes, the performance of this particular game on the O2X is embarrassing when you get to bigger maps such as the Ramparts. If you aren't playing it online, turning on flight mode will help a bit.
I'm wondering if how i can set my phone to "game mode".
I observed that when I upgraded from 2.1.6 to 2.1.9 then to 2.2.0, there is caching of program. the caching is not done (I think) in 2.1.6 or lower versions. And does supercharger has something to do with this?
I think caching has something to do with processor performance for games, and it makes games somewhat choppy. What I want to do, is when I start a game, all support and background checking/ precaching services for other apps (even for messaging) is disabled so that the game will have most of the resources. It would be even better if i can set this for individual apps so that only cpu/gpou intensive games will do this. Now, is there anyway to do this?
naahh...there is no such settings for now

Hello. Anyone tried real racing 3? I was expecting a lot more from a quad core + gpu 1.5x speed the Mali. Although installed it shows 'device not supported' in Google play. Maybe it has to do something with this? Any workarounds?
i also use this phone, it can play this game, if we use all core (4 core), the game run so lag but full graphic, if we only use 1 core, game run smooth but low graphic

What about 2-cores? What software are you using to change the core usage?
As always in better games - set governor to performance . Plays quite good
governor=??
Can someone please elaborate?
oh, you need app like SetCpu to do this.

Fortnite isn't compatible with Moto X4, it's only compatible with Qualcomm's SnapDragon 8xx.
PUBG runs fine, automatic graphics settings set to low, but I think it can run on medium, I'm using GFX Tool to play the game here.
Pubg runs fine.

Look at this, our GPU can't handle the game.
When you open a game, the game booster recognize and get the resolution to 1080p and limits the Mali G-76 clock to 572mhz maximum (the real stock clock is 702mhz), anyone know how to play games without game booster (and GOS (Game Optimization Service))? Is possible to disable the Game Booster by ADB commands, but no for the GOS ...

Are you sure the game booster is the one which limits the gpu or game optimizing service is the one which limits the gpu?
Deleting gos doesnt work via adb while deleting gamebooster and gamehome works via adb.
there is an app named Easy Uninstaller which worked for me to disable gameofservice.
