Does anyone have a stock or near stock MR2 9.0 pie build.prop for the RP2? ATT carrier locked flashed global image, I rooted mine all was going great no problems, then I got in the car and sat on it. After almost 2 months of cracked glass half the screen froze, and well I broke it. I have a AVH-NEX4500W head unit and that phone mirrored to is flawlessly, the only one I have found that will except an off brand 4 year old tablet my son has (no root avail) I am trying to pull the build.prop for a starting point to get the temp phone I have to work as well, I have the image but not entirely sure how to extract it directly. a quick link would be greatly appreciated. Note I rolled over on the phone awhile back while it was charging (I know its wireless) and busted the USB so that's a no go.

Do you need At&t stock September pie build.prop or MR2 pie build.prop?
Well I was looking for .a 9.0 prop. And since ATT never updated their phones... I don't think. Global would be perfect or instructions on how to extract it from the image from Razer. Thank you.
I have the at&t newest September 5 pie build.prop. To extract a build.prop I usually use AIS from the play store if you have root. The app lets you mount a system image then get the build prop from the system directory.
The sept att update was still 8.1 wasn't it? I doubt it matters much it's just this Moto is running 9 and it's already looked on me a few times I'm trying not to break it too bad. I mean honestly I just need one that works so I can compare it with the one I have which doesn't
No I have a new at&t Android pie update with latest security patch and fixes. Would you like to see it?
Yes please
I would love to take a peek thank you.

Hi,
I'm looking for the stock firmware. I'm expecting one of these devices to come in tonight and I've got a full schedule of things planned to do to it. It's going to delay me by two hours if I cannot get a stock recovery. I need the bootloaders and recovery images. If anyone has them, it would be appreciated.
It's really odd to see a device on the Play Store without firmware or source available upon release.
I've seen people asking for this before, is there any particular reason for it, or are you just curious? I know the version that came on my Gear Live was totally unusable, I could barely get the damn thing to apply the OTA it was so unresponsive.

I want to port TWRP. I also want to adjust properties in the ramdisk to save energy.
Hi,
I suffered with the S5 I got for a year with terrible camera performance.
I just got a replacement from att and the camera is how mine should have been for that whole year, cool.
Unfortunately, the replacement is pre loaded with 5.x and OC4 baseband.
I've been a dedicated rooter for at least 5 years but I felt like I wasn't missing as much as I thought I would without root.
Except GPS absolutely does not work on this replacement S5, I never get a fix.
I've tried a few apps that see 20 plus satellites but never a fix.
I've read that lollipop GPS has issue with numerous devices but I want to see if replacing this particular phone might be worth the effort.
So does anyone use GPS and it works with att S5 running lollipop?
I think I saw that there is maybe a newer baseband? Is there anything I can odin to this phone that may help?
I'm a little nervous about taking chances at this point, I only have this phone for internet so when I get stuck and have to find solutions and files it gets pretty stressful. Having the files to recover at the start would be good in that case, do we have a guide to flashing stock 5.x, can that even be done after OC4?
One last thing, I'm really bummed that I have to constantly deal with something because a company puts out unready or untested hardware/software.
I spent forever trying to get the S1 GPS to work, and a year missing good photos with my S5.
My S3 was pretty good but it won't charge anymore.
The S5 is a great phone when it works.
Thanks for any help.

Mines working fine also. Same setup, OTA'd before checking rooting capability.
I have a Note 2, the S5 is work phone. Used GPS heavily on travel to Maryland and San Diego the past two weeks.
Thanks for the reports.
I'm going to see if tightening the few screws this phone has might help like it did for some with the S3, I have to find a 000 Phillips.
If that does nothing then I will return the phone again.
It does seem that some devices with Lollipop are reported to have GPS issues related to software, note3? So it's good to hear that your S5s are working.

I got another replacement phone and GPS is good!
I'm not sure if I mentioned how bad the battery was, I'll see how it goes with this new one.
Thanks for the help.

I've had an S4 active (I92 hanging around for about 2 years now that got shipped back to me by mistake. I haven't needed to turn it on since getting it, but now I've got a broken screen on the one I use and would rather switch to the one with an intact screen. It got shipped back to me with 4.2.2 on it, and I can't seem to figure out how to update it. So far what I've tried has been unsuccessful, and I would love some advice. Do I have to go to 4.3 then 4.4.2 then 5.0.1 or what?
Thank you for any help!
I guess I never got around to installing TWRP when I rooted my phone because it won't let me install any custom ROM's. I cant find a stock one anywhere that doesn't look really sketchy. Anyone got a good place? Thanks.
Why am I getting a system update on a 3 year old phone anyway? Doesn't LG have better phones to update, but I digress...
UPDATE: Finally found a download that works. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347759872
Phone doesn't get recognized when plugged into computer though, so ****. Guess its finally time to upgrade.
So long LG90 you were good, real good, maybe even the best...
UPDATE: Back in business! Apparently you gotta use a USB port thats directly on the motherboard and not a front one on your case for the LG tool to like it.
Alright guys.
I must admit,, I was ready to give up on this phone. After owning several very high spec phones, for their years , I found myself having to get a "budget " one.
This phone was the worst I had used. Constant slow down to the point of waiting 20 seconds for an app to even bring up keyboard, battery useless, all after the 8.1 update. However not the case now. How? Well . .
My phone went into a bootloop of just showing "no command". I sent it to Nokia repair, in Hungary, via DHL. for a 5 day turn around repair. I got back the same exact phone. They had put on 7.1.2, as the factory restore image I guess. I debated about updating to 8.1 then took the plunge and did so - a big 1.8GB update. Then, to my amazement, it installed - one after the other - all security updates up to November 1 2018. I previous hadn't had any since May. Took quite a while. Reboot for each one, etc. After November went on I rebooted, and then did a reset to factory via recovery.
This phone has a new lease of life. Seriously no slowdown, multiple apps, vastly increased battery life (granted it's only been 2 days, but still you can tell it will be), the speed is vastly, vastly improved and is something that I was not expecting.
So, maybe we should all get our phones a bit cranky (get them in a boot loop), make sure it's in warranty and send it for repair. One thing I have noticed is that they put on the default stock WW rom (which was not the case previously). That, I assume, is what has resulted in a new lease of life - and updates - for the phone.
Thanks
It worked for me, expect that i didn't brought my phone to Nokia service.
I did noticed that the phone was really really slow even just on opening apps, it's a nightmare that considering there are phones cheaper than this and just works fine with apps.
They said that the updating to oreo will make it slow in some cases, i can't tell due to when i bought the phone, i immediately updated to Oreo
So i stopped the security updates from July cause i wanted root so bad that i was even planning to downgrade the thing, reasons are both i want the old speed back to this phone and root access.
But after i saw this post, i was curious... So i updated the phone to the latest security patch. And now it works great!
I can even play PUBG really smooth (which I can't back then)
