Assuming you have all the required software tools(xiaomi flash tool, adb tools etc) and there is no issue with the internals of the device, follow the bellow:
1. Flash the device to the latest miui official global rom.
2. Flash the tremble edition of TWRP or orange recovery for the device via adb.
3. At the TWRP menu, before flashing the rom, make sure you wipe system, data, cache, vendor, dalvik partitions (see advanced wipe).
4. You can try the rom at https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-2/development/rom-pixel-experience-plus-t3984377 which is nice (personal opinion there are many more quality roms like havoc, lineage os, aosp etc) and give thanks to the developers! The least we all members can do.
Make sure you are careful in order to not brick the device and always have backup of your files. The responsibility of your device's well being remains to you alone.
If you face any issue or have questions, feel free to post to help you in any way we can.

thanks for answer, but I do all of that. First install global rom, after that flash treble twrp or orange fox, go to advanced option and wipe data, cache, vendor, system, dalvik.. after that flash rom and when finishing install, boot to system... then my phone starts, and boot in pie rom and I see start screen, but after 30-60 seconds phone freeze for 5 seconds and restart. Then again starts, and again freeze and restart... Only rom I can use two times without freezing and restarts is Potato pie rom, but I want to install some other... Trying installing and last firmware, and with or without gapps, and with or without magisk
I know how to install rom, doing all stuff corectly, nougat and oreo roms working perfectly, but pie roms not working... Also try and Android 10, but i got message "there is a internal problem with device" and after that phone freeze and restart like with pie roms... that message was also on some pie roms, and on some not...
I post here my problem and hope someone can help...

Which model do you have?

Mine for example is the MDE40 64GB.
is there any SD card installed? If yes remove. And also the Sim and see if it still reboots.

Model is same like your, 4GB/64GB...
I have a SD card and SIM card always inside phone...
I was thinking to try that, to remove them after installing rom, because when I was install Android 10, before phone get freeze, I got a message "com.qualcomm.qcrilmsgtunnel proces has stopped", and read somewhere that is some problem with provider... I will try later today, and will see..

Yes indeed

Yes dual Sim smartphones with custom roms have some stupid issues sometimes. Me for example I have to place my Sim to card slot 2 (where you place the SD card) in order for my car unit via Bluetooth to show the reception bars on its screen.
Please do when you have free time and inform us. Hope I gave you useful insight!
Also if without Sim is booting well, try to disable Volte. Some users with some providers have issues with that.

Here I am again...
I was try to install 5 new pie roms this morning, and always same problem... I was remove SD card, or SIM card, or both of them, and problem is still here...
Its something when system starts, then freeze...

Very strange

Does the roms you try have an kernel which OC the cpu?
Maybe you need one that keeps the cpu at stock speed.
Or if the phone is carrier locked and faces issues with that?

I was try all pie roms, and with all have same problem, except sometimes with Potato pie rom... Try also and with or without flashing kernel, with or without graphic drivers, all combination of all stuff... I must stay on nougat, like untill now... Im trying to install pie rom few months, and no more nerves to trying... I will sold this phone, and get MiMax 3...
Anyway big thanks for trying to help... I was hope there is someone who have same problem, and who solved this maybe, but...

Is your phone's bootloader unlocked? I havent seen anyone facing the problems you are facing, do not rule out a hardware issue. Hope you've done a mistake and don't have a hardware issue. Greetings!

Cyanogen Mod 3G issues.

ever since updating to the cyanogen 4 series of roms i have been getting 3g issues. by this i mean that sometimes it doesnt want to connect to the internet from any program, like the market, google voice, or the browser. sometimes it does work, but sometimes i have to reboot the phone or just turn off 3G in order to browse the web. i am running haykuros spl with apps2sd with a 800mb ext4 partition. and im running the latest cyan mod.
can any one assist me in this?
what can i do to fix this?
do i need a new g1?
I dunno if wipe helps have you tried that? boot into recovery, wipe (alt+w)
if not, jacxrom is a good alternative to cyan, i guess...
but chances are your phone's hardware itself is fine, and you won't need a new one.

has anyone else experienced this and how did u fix it?
ive had the same thing happening lately. i had it happen tonight with just my edge connection i had to reset the phone. I also just wiped and reformatted my sd card for a linux-swap partition before flashing this rom so i know that isnt the problem.

Try re-installing the radio.
I had to do a second wipe after installed to fix the 3g problem. Since then I haven't noticed any problems

just rebooted the phone and all was well.
I dunno if this is related, but Ive been having bluetooth issues since the latest few updates, bluetooth has never been perfect for me, but when I listen to mp3s over bluetooth it almost constantly stutters, like its dropping the BT connection, because the music seems to have been going on playing while I don't hear anything.
what is with all these questions in the wrong forum? where is Mikey when you need him?
READ THE STICKIES. POST IN THE Q&A FORUM.
Mod request to delete thread: fix for BT and 3G issues
1. power down the unit with the red key. Wait a minute. Power back up.
2. Try reinstalling the radio
3. Try reinstalling the ROM, and then reinstall the radio again
5. You shouldn't have to, but wipe, re-create (not just reformat) your ext# partition (you can back it up and refill it, but occaisionally stuff gets left behind) reinstall the ROM, wipe, install again, install the radio, full power cycle.
5. (Last) post your issue
This actually belongs in the ROM forum, but not until these basics have been tried.

i tried this but still no cigar,
=[
I don't believe this to be a problem with a ROM or radio. I've had similar connection issues recently. i noticed it after flashing a Hero Theme to Cyan 3.9somethin. I thought the rom might have been the cause of the issue but a buddy of mine that i work with has a stock G1 and has similar connection issues. Also a customer came into the store who had a Samsung Highlight with similar problems, i figured it was a problem on Tmobile's End. It still hasn't fixed itself so i plan to give customer service a call in the morning and see if they have any resolutions or if its a recognized issue. I'll post back with what i get tomorrow.
MOD EDIT

As of late my phone was good... but now it says no service all day why.. an what can i do to fix... i was running cyanogen 4.0.4... i beive i hav the latest raido.. spl dont know... the wifi still works thou.. help please..

[Q] Sprint HTC One reboot issue

I got a Sprint HTC One last week, rooted it, s-offed it and flashed several ROMs on it.
My problem is that in every ROM I've tested, the phone reboots after a couple of minutes.
Here are the ROMs I've tried so far:
- CLEAN ROM SPR 2.5
- CM-10.1-20130714-NIGHTLY-m7spr
- MIUI_m7wls_signed_07042013
- Slim-m7spr-4.2.2.build.7-OFFICIAL
- Sprint_HTC_One_1.29.651.10_Stock_Deodexed
- Sprint_HTC_One_1.29.651.10_Stock_Odexed_05.17.13
- Stock_w_Goodies_One_1.06
- viperROM_One_v1.1.0
I'm using TWRP 2.5, advanced wiping: dalvik, cache, data, system before flashing the ROM.
Does anyone have sugestions?

I guess that's a slightly different problem then mine.
My phone is S-OFF already and I've wiped and flashed almost every single ROM out there and the phone reboots (doesn't shutdown) every 2 minutes...
After I read some other similar issues, I'm guessing I'll have to use a RUU tool to fix the problem. The other problem is that I only have Mac and Linux...
I've read a post advising to copy the ROM file to the root of the phone's internal storage in order to do a proper flash.
Since I was always flashing the roms directly from an external usb thumb drive, I thougt it was a good idea.
I copied Android Revolution 2.5 to the phone's memory, wiped everything and flashed it. Installation whas OK so I rebooted. When selecting the wi-fi network on the initial setup I received a message saying "avoiding poor signal network" even thoug my router was about 10ft from me. After finishing the initial setup I rebooted the phone and then it got stuck hard.
Even when pressing the power button for over 20 second it didn't shut down. Now I'm waiting for the battery to die so I can see what happens on the next boot.
Again, if someone can help me on this situation, I'll appreciate it...

press the buttons while holding phone under a bright light and it will reboot, if that rom was a 4.2.2 rom from the intl. forum you're going to have to ruu it.

Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
I've only used Sprint ROMs but still got those freaking reboots. Only by using RUU (provided by viperboy) I managed to solve the reboot issue.
Now I'm waiting for a software SIM Unlock solution, since I'm in Brazil an cannot unlock it OTA.
I'll post an update here as soon as I have a solution...

Check Fail error

Hello, XDA community,
Since I couldn't find a thread here discussing this problem, I'm starting one now.
Everytime I start up my phone or whenever it runs out of RAM and tries restarting background services/apps, the "First Time Start" application reappears in the taskbar (it actually is com.sonyericsson.startupflagservice) and then the screen opens up the "Check Fail" screen (image attached). Tried looking at ADB logcat at boot, nothing useful (will try again soon). This problem began occuring since Jan 22, when I first started my phone. The phone is not rooted nor messed with (bootloader still locked). Contacted Sony for that, they suggested the obvious and costly solution, to bring it to them so they could examine and fix it, but is there a manual fix? I want to know exactly what is causing the problem and be able to fix it for myself only, since this phone isn't that popular where I live. I have nothing against Sony fixing it, but most probably they won't even explain what caused it (and it happens for me to be a curious person). The phone is bought at RDE.lt , which is a general tech shop, not a phone vendor, and thus no warranty is given.
To be honest, I would fix this by reflashing the phone, either reflash the current firmware (Country and provider the exact same as before)
Or flash a new firmware which is not buggy. It is known that firmwares are not the same as some of them are buggy mess.

Tried reflashing through Sony PC Companion, no go. If I try FTF flasher, is unlocked bootloader a must? I have flashed ROMs before on Huawei u8160, Sony Xperia X10 mini e10i and Xperia Go st27i, but most of them were custom, so I'm unsure if I have to unlock it now.

Download a firmware from XperiFirm
And flash it with Flashtool
It does not require an unlocked bootloader as it is not a custom ROM
Solution
Hey guys. I got the same problem on 20.1.A.2.13, tried to flash the 20.1.A.2.19 twice, tried factory reset but nothing happened, after starting the phone I always got the Check fail message. The problem is caused by the Startup Flag Service 2 (com.sonyericsson.startupflagservice), but I got a solution for the problem. Because it always shows up after the systemboot, we simply just have to prevent it from running at startup.
I used SD Maid (Pro or simple version doesn't matter). Go to App Control, than type in the search box: "startup", tap on it. Tap on Toggle Autostart Components. After that switch the On to Off and reboot the phone. Thats all
Hello, im having the same error. I have installed sd maid. I have searched startup and clicked on it however there is no toggle autostart components option.

[Q]Help me with this particular N910T

Hey folks, first thread ever, I really need help with this troubled N910T, DOK2, Android 5.1.1
Whats wrong with this phone:
The contact app will stop everytime I open it, since contact app is combined into Phone app, so the Phone app will also stop everytime I click on it. However, the situation will be fixed if I change the locale to English. (The phone belongs to a Asian friend)
One of the instant message app, the Wechat, similar to Whatsapp Messager and Facebook Messager, will not receive any kind of notification, at all.
The phone's battery drop from 50% to 1% then turn off itself in minutes.
The last two problems may be unrelated issues to the first one, and that is not the main reason I'm really here. I have ODIN flashed the latest firmware over 10 times and all THREE of the problems still exist after all that.
And whats bothering me is that ODIN flash firmware WILL NOT FACTORY RESET this phone, that doesn't make any sense to me. Please let me know if I make a mistake about that, because every other phone or tablet I have worked on before will always be factory reset after flashing a OEM firmware.
I have also flahed TWRP and wiped everything from the System to the internal storage and reflash the firmware but the problem is still there.
sort of things have been done to the phone may have something to do with the problems:
installed the zips I got from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...pt-touchwiz-bloating-script-222-apps-t3258537
it debloated the phone.
the phone was lost in a rainy day, found again two days later. Remote lock and wipe preformed via Android Device Manager but the wipe process never go through.
Please let me know if the phone is worth saving at all, I have spent days in this phone fixing and researching for solution. I found no similar issue around here, and the phone is out of warranty.
Thank you and please let me know should I throw this thing away.
Battery needs to be replaced. Are you sure you flashed right firmware for 910t not 910t3?

Many times already.
If you haven't done so, you may want to do a clean install which means wiping system, data, dalvik and cache at least three times in custom recovery such as TWRP. Then you can try ODIN baseband, bootloader, rom and kernel (if rom doesn't contain one), custom recovery. Next you boot into customer recovery again and do a factory reset and that should do it. Let me know if that helps.

Maybe it's due to a specific app.
Unlock bootloader then Flash Any Custom rom. Or flash MIUI via Fastboot method and check the crash. Most probably you have done a Dirty flash instead of Clean flash.
Wipe data/system/cache/dalvik then flash your ROM for a Bugless experience :highfive:
i did Clean flash in all of tham.
ill just try to go for the bes custom rom that is simple. im not looking for customisation at all, just want the phone to work with minimum features, stable...
if you know witch is the rom for me that could help :]
im now going to check who crash less frequently
cuse miui reboot sometime 4 times in 1 minute
Can you tell me what you did? Also was your internal storage intact or was erased? Because I am also having the same issue.
