No news. We just have to wait. It shouldn't be long away.

But i saw that Android Q released for mi A2 lite in UK. Also this month some xiaomi devices will get Android Q based MIUI 11. Then why we need to wait for a long time?

No mi a2 lite hasn't got Android 10 nor have we and also a3 doesn't and that will likely get it before we do. Just wait. i think it might be this month or next

Thanks :/
We are deep into october and there is still no monthly patch, which leads me to believe that there might be an android 10 update soon (even though we have had a couple of security patches that were late in the month), keeping fingers crossed that it is going to be rolled out within next 30 days

i was thinking that too. I am new to having a mi a2 but have seen the dates of the updates and this one is beginning to seem to be late. It could be Android 10 release reason

Download 'ANT Test' from the PlayStore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quantrity.anttester&hl=en
And then click on the downwards arrows to install the required services.
Then test.
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don't yet have the A2 to test myself but would be grateful If someone could please test and confirm. I can however confirm the A1 does have it and I've used it.
Just tested here with app mentioned above.

Thanks for the test. It's likely I removed the ANT services hence they never showed.
Thanks for confirming. I use Ant+ and wanted to know before looking to upgrade.
the Xiaomi mi a2 has ant + support but after the update to Android 9 it does not work anymore. apparently the Android one version. it has not been suitable for the hardware that has the a2. the message it gives is that you do not have the ant + support in the integrated firmware
I'm running Android 9 (10.0.1.0 rooted). It's showing NO for built in hardware and HAL service not found...

Looks like Xiaomi broke it for many (all?) Phones with Android 9, I have the same issue with my A1, it used to work properly under Android 8. Really sad they fail at testing before releasing a major upgrade

I'm not sure they failed the test - they need to test it in the first place.
I create issue
https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/130862180
I'm running Android 10. Following the instructions from GuestK00136 and allowing the "ANT radio service" to use ANT hardware, my MiA2 is now ANT capable.

Just patch level, nothing more. Think about that, 03/2019 and we got 01/2019 patch level, for a high end device... Now we are on 02/2019

Here the update plan for Europe. I see it on the "teltarif" website.
So we have to wait.
Aha so the Beta for the X3 started already in Asia probably, but will only be available later in Europe. Maybe bc we Europeans are whiners and they want to fix as many bugs as possible before we get it?

Nope, EU versions have google dialer/google.messaging app and different bloatware than Asia versions with Oppo.dialer and Oppo messaging app. I have global version but from Asia so beta version is available for me in Trial version menu.
Yes, Europe is in the 2nd wave of upgrades for ColorOS 12. I don't know the exact reason, but likely to be due to different software elements / eSIM support etc. There is no beta for European devices yet.
I have the chinese version, my status is the one ate the pic. Can I go from there to android 12?

No, you cant.
I think 1 post in 1 topic is enough. You dont have to post 5 times in 5 different topics with the same question.

Guys, I know that I'm not the first nor the last to ask you this. But do you know if will be officially deployed via OTA to Mi 9T Pro?
It looks like our phone isn't supported by xiaomi right now. So we will not get any updates anymore.

funny thing is that on official forum they told me that there is not a denial about 12.5+ for Mi 9T Pro
As I found on the one of the forums, They released MIUI12.5 enhanced for our smartphone, but ONLY in China.
I have no words really
UPDATE!
Our Mi 9T Pro will do be updated to 12.5+ because is eligible to MIUI 13 according with this official list that is being shared in official Xiaomi telegram group:

I've seen that same/similar list back in Nov or Dec (and posted it somewhere here to XDA) but in these six months did not see any move towards (and Xiaomi.eu, that releases beta versions of Xiaomi's firmwares does not have any phone whose name starts with "Mi 9" in their MIUI 13 programme)
And btw, I recently saw another list, stating the batch of phones to obtain MIUI 13 in the sec. part of 2022, and your Renoir was not listed (neither my Davinci)
Frankly, I don't expect MIUI 13 (based on A11) for those old phones. I still have my Mi 9T but no more as a daily driver

Hahaha!!! my intent was also the same but did want to save the earth by typing less words. Lol!!!
I have a unlocked s21 ultra with code xxa, last beta we were able to flash via odin the beta file but I have not seen anyone posting it up.
Please post the file.
There is no beta yet for S21 series.
I Believe only s22 got the beta at this point
Ok I was under the impression that both the s22 and s21 betas were released.
It will rollout soon. They're testing it internally.

Sadly no. C to D may mean Major Android change, but it also means One UI upgrade as well.
However, why Samsung is testing 4.1.1 while we're on the brink of 5.0 Beta, is odd, but then again, Samsung is analogous to oddness.
Outside of Tablets and Foldables, i don't see how 4.1.1 makes sense, since they're pushing for Android 12L there.
