RP 2 Stuck at logo after Magisk update. - Razer Phone 2 Questions & Answers

Here is my original post in the Magisk forum. But I also wanted to get this out here on Razer Phone 2's section in case anyone can assist. Sorry for double post but I feel like it is a RP2 issue but the Magisk update made the phone not boot. To keep everything in the same location just post on the original post and not here. Thanks for any help!

Problem updating SuperSU... stuck at Yellow Sprint Spark screen (Galaxy S5)

I have a Sprint Galaxy S5. Got a message stating that the SuperSU binary needed to be updated, so I rebooted into recovery (PhilZ Touch 6), but couldn't find the ZIP file to flash.
I chose "reboot" (without rooting) the first time, but nothing changed. So I chose "Reboot and root", and now it hangs at the stupid yellow "Sprint Spark" screen.
Is this fixable? If so, how? Thanks.
Edit #1: I tried booting into PhilZ again and saw an option for "install SuperSU and reboot"... I did that, but it still hangs at the yellow screen...
Edit #2: I recently installed some silly app that filters out certain wavelengths of light to supposedly help you sleep better after using your device late at night. I read in another thread somewhere that apps like that may not play well with SuperSU...
Edit #3: I downloaded the latest stable version here and am attempting a manual install via PhilZ...
Edit #4: That fixed it.
I know you guys would have helped if I wasn't so impatient. This was a good thing because I learned something. Maybe next time I'll research a little more before I post my question. Hopefully this helps someone else someday...
Systemless root yea? You already figured it out, but it was because you weren't supposed to press yes to install root in TWRP right? Is that what it was? Curious now, just for some background info on what the situation was. Thanks!

Help MotoG5+ root no camera

First of all, sorry if I'm writing to a wrong forum or thread, it's very difficult to find anything on this forum...
I really need help with my device as I've tried everything available on the Internet and haven't got the desired result.
My device is Motorola Moto G5 Plus XT1685 (Spain) bought from Amazon in December.
I want to root it.
First try failed, and the device got bricked (or whatever you call it, the system was erased).
So I installed this:
POTTER_RETAIL_7.0_NPN25.137-92_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
The system worked normally.
I proceeded with the instructions given on the internet: unlock, flash twrp, format data, flash boot, install the wifi patch, install SuperSu.
Great, it worked, the system loaded, the device was unlocked. BUT! The camera didn't work. I've tried all the solutions offered on the Internet, I really did. I re-rooted it again and found that the camera goes wrong with the boot kernel image.
So I used the image from the aforementioned potter pack. It went well, device rooted, camera works. But there is no wifi modem. Yes, I installed the wifi patch, several times, from the recovery mode.
So, it's either camera and wifi or root... Is there any solution for moto g5 plus xt1685 to have root AND camera and wifi?
Thank you.
PS: Magisk didn't work at all.

You're right - posting in the wrong forum. Your question belongs here which is where the expertise resides for your device. This is not a SuperSU issue.
How can I ask for help? I cannot post anything on that forum, the system doesn't let me.

General and Help sections are open to all; developer/development sections are restricted. As is the case with most device centric forums on XDA.

Soft bricked Amazon HDX 8.9 (3rd gen.). Stuck in fastboot mode. Any way I can save?

Hi All,
New to this forum and new to the HDX series. I've literally spent like 7 or 8 hours today searching through the posts trying to unlock the bootloader and install twrp. Was trying all sorts of methods. Using fastboot I kept on hitting a roadblock when it would basically say can't do blah blah blah on a locked hw. I then decided to try and install twrp without the computer. I had it rooted with KingRoot then I downloaded superSu pro and flashy to do it. When I flashed the twrp image it said flashing successful, do you want to reboot or flash more things. I did reboot and it just got stuck on logo screen. I did a hard power off and from that moment on it will only boot to fastboot/bootloader mode. Is there any way to salvage my HDX? I apologize in advance if this has been addressed elsewhere. Every post I found related to it didn't work for me. Thanks in advance for all your help.

[sm-J737P] Please, I'm new to this. I need advice. I have no idea where to begin.

I have the boost mobile Galaxy J7 Refine. I've tried using many different variations of similar j7 TWRP recoveries, or what I thought were similar.
I've done nothing but boot loop and re install my firmware for 2 days. It's getting a bit overwhelming. I've read through a lot of the guides but it just seems to go over my head.
I may need a little hand holding. Is the SM-J737P rooted yet? Someone in PM said he would help me root it but he got busy today. Anyone willing to at least point me in the right direction?
Its oreo right? No available roots for that.
I have same phone and rooted it systemlessly with magisk
I know this thread's a little old - but I just picked up a J7 Refine (J737P) and wanted to make sure I had this process right before flashing..
What I've done:
1) First I pulled stock boot.img
2) Then I patched it with Magisk Manager to get an output file of patched_boot.img.tar
Pretty sure these are my next steps that I'd like someone to confirm:
1) Now I should put the J7 in Download mode
2) Using newest version of Odin, flash patched_boot.img.tar via AP
3) Root achieved?
Thanks in advance.
