To apply v11.0.2.0 from 10.4.8.0, I have orange fox recovery atm.
Extract the miui recovery and flash it as you did the twrp recovery.
Just to be safe download the rom you have again and extract it , in it there is the recovery img

Stock Recovery
Hit thanks if I HELP you
I rooted my OP3 but for some reasons installed stock ROM in TWRP and then flashed Stock Recovery. But now Update 3.2.4 fails in stock recovery and I can't sideload it neither the full ROM.
I appreciate any leads.
Thank you
If you don't have them already, download the latest version of TWRP twrp-3.0.2-1-oneplus3.img as well as the latest ROM OnePlus3Oxygen_16_OTA_013_all_1608061823_765c081a5c8e4dad.zip.
go into fastboot and run `fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-1-oneplus3.img` to reflash TWRP
reboot into recovery
flash/install OnePlus3Oxygen_16_OTA_013_all_1608061823_765c081a5c8e4dad.zip then press "Wipe cache/dalvik"
if you don't want to keep TWRP and root you can reboot system now and be finished, otherwise flash/install twrp-3.0.2-1-oneplus3.img to Recovery partition (click "Install Image" to make the file visible)
reboot into recovery (very important!)
flash SuperSU or whatever
reboot system
I flashed TWRP with succes according to cmd. But when booting to recovery it gives me the stock recovery. I had the same problem with my OPX. Someone on here said that MM had a new bootloader so i had a TWRP that was compatible with that bootloader. Is this the same for OP3T? If so can anyone link this

flash twrp 3.0.4.0 (in OP3 forums, now unified), from fastboot boot immediately to recovery it should boot TWRP, flash SuperSU or similar (or kernel that will rename stock recovery) to keep TWRP, reboot recovery from TWRP to check it works, reboot to system and profit.
if you don't root, stock recovery will keep coming back.
Is there stock ROM zip file available to flash with TWRP?
I've installed TWRP and root. It's not safe to take OTA update any more.
Thanks
When getting a custom ROM and wanting to root it with Magisk, should I patch and flash the boot.img of the specific ROM or the boot.img of the factory FW

Flash TWRP or orange fox and then Magisk zip in the recovery
That's it
But of course the bootloader has to be unlocked
The boot img of the current ROM you're using like example boot img of Pixel Experience if you're using that. Usually the boot img is inside the ROM zip when you installed it. But this method is for devices without custom recovery. Of course it will work but I suggest to follow what Laptapper suggested to flash a custom recovery (orange fox r12.1_2 or twrp 3.7.0) and just flash magisk.zip.
