hello, i'll try my best to describe the issue i'm facing
a month ago i flashed a custom rom, this one to be precise https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-lineageos-16-0-t3960329 to my HTC one m7 phone, i haven't checked prior to having the new rom, back in the stock rom period, i didn't check if my phone was able to read the SIM card, i flashed the custom rom mentioned, with the twrp and gapps from that exact thread, everything was done through the ADB sideload method, 2 days later, i did input the SIM card and it couldn't be read, i tried several roms and that didn't help so i gave it to a tech guy in my hood, he didn't explain why and how this stuff functions but he fixed it, everything is back to STOCK on android 5.0 and the SIM card can be now detected and everything's okey, but my daily needs aren't compatible with that version anymore and i kinda hate the rusty UI there, i wanna advance and head to a future version, i'm afraid of missing a step or something so here is the thing :
i unlocked the bootloader--->through ADB support i flash the TWRP version that is included in that said link ---> wipe (not complete wipe ) ----->flash the rom and gapps through ADB sideload--> reboot
am i missing something ? i saw people talking about htc sense or a kernel thing, even googling didn't help figure out what's up, i hope i did describe everything needed to find a clue here, if anyone can walk me through the process of getting myself an advanced rom without ending up with a phone that can't read the sim card i'll be happy, thanks a lot!

Hello everyone !
I've rooted my SFR Legend, and since i've flashed the 3st rom, i've randomly this message "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" and i need to enter my PIN, at this time i've never wiped, and i decided to wipe data/cache/dalvik-cache, flash radio and flash rom and the problem disappeared. But since i installed another rom (now i redo these steps in the same order every flash , wipe, flash radio and flash rom) the problem came back. I think Froyo must solve this problem and i've wait, now froyo is here and i've already the problem. I've tried to format SD and flash, i've tried to unroot but CID incorrect. I've wiped a time with clockworld mod and another time with r4-legend-root.
I need help please i don't find any solution
Edit: SOLVED , Andromax cause the problem
no answers? i didn't found any solutions
since you have the phone rooted, why don't you just install whitesnakedk's Froyo modified Vodafone ROM? I got tired of waiting for HTC to release one so I went ahead and used his and i feel like I just took it in to the shop and got it souped up, I love it! Everything feels like it's working better. So give that a try and see if the phone app keeps failing.
I think is a problem due to the radio update (included in 2.03), i think many files enter in conflicts between residues (if any) of the original radio and the new version. But wipe doesn't fix this
Hi all
I have a problem with my HTC One, hope you can help me, I have a sprint version and I have installed viper 3.1 on it, the problem was that I didn't know that the kernels that appeared on the venom hub was for international version only (already posted in the xda thread but haven't seen it), so I have unfortunately flashed the bulletproof kernel via the venom hub, but when it restarted the for the first time none of tweaks like s2w works, and since that flash, my htc reboots every 2 minutes, but that's not the only problem, also the recovery mode don't work, so I'm stuck in a reboot loop and can't flash no rom again or flash another kernel, another problem is that since that flash, I don't have any GSM signal.
Please if anyone knows how to solve this problem or what's probably happening with my ONE I would really apreciate any comment. I'm able to wipe all my data cause I've already backup all the data so if it's necessary I'm able to do it. Thanks in advance.
Santiago.
Look here it will get you fixed up
Earlier today i went to flash a newer version of the viper rom. I have done this quite a few times and know the whole process of flashing a rom so i don't feel i am a n00b. So after the rom flashed it was stuck in bootloader and the recovery was gone. I got a recovery back on it and restored what i had saved prior to this. Now i keep getting this error process com.htc.htcdialer isnt responding and the phone does just keeps restarting after about a minute or so. I have looked around quite a bit for a fix but cant seem to come across one and hope someone here can point me in the right direction. And i also noticed it wont seem my sim card either. I did the unlock and was using T-mobile with no probs until i tried to flash that rom....Thanks for any help

I'm currently running ViperOne 5.7.0 I tried updating to 5.8.0 and even 6.0.0. Neither would work. Kept getting the same results as you. And, same as you, I tried looking at a lot of different places for solutions, unfortunately I can't find any.
UPDATE: I found out that the culprit was twrp 2.7.0.0 so I flashed twrp 2.7.0.4b and it allowed me to flash ViperOne 6.0.0
Try flashing the latest radio.
I have been using CM11 (14-03-2014 I believe), without major problems until yesterday. Sometimes my phone seemed to disconnect from my SIM and I had to re-enter my pin code to reconnect to my operators network. But as of yesterday my device doesn't seem to recognize the SIM card, It doesn't ask for a code at all and can't make any connection whatsoever. I didn't change a thing, this problem started out of the blue.
I wiped cache and dalvik, updated to the latest CM nightly (08-05) but that didn't make any difference. In other threads I read about the baseband that might need an update, but I can't check which version I have now because when I try to enter the hidden menu I get the no network connection error. The strange thing is that CM11 has worked with (I guess) the stock baseband.
Is my phone tripping or could it be that my SIM card is broken?
Help and thoughts will be very much appreciated
Try it on stock to be sure about it.
After some searching I found a phone that could fit a regular SIM card, a Blackberry 9900. My SIM worked perfect in this phone, so that is not the problem.
I Also did a complete wipe and installed a stable version of CM 10.1.3, but that didn't seem to help. I hoped that a downgrade would have done the trick. I might try a ICS ROM or the stock firmware, but I kind of lost hope and i'm starting to think this problem is hardware related in stead of software. I'll report back with results on stock firmware and the ICS ROM.
How can I make sure the SIM reader in my phone is working properly?
Sorry for double posting, but I got an update:
SIM wasn't working with ICS so I decided to go back to the stock ROM. However, when I tried to flash V20B.kdz with KDZ_FW_UPD, the program got stuck at wParam=2010 and iParam=210. The phone is now stuck in S/W Update mode, and I haven't found a way to restore it yet. I will argue a little more with my phone when I get back from work, I'll open a new thread on how to unbrick when I can't do it myself.

My good friend i know i probably come 2 late but here is the anser 4 future users!!

its supose to freese in ther!! (not ther but ....)
I have the same problem, and exactly the same error at reflash.
Dead end. Buy a new phone .
I tried to flash it about 80 times. One guy from a gsm repair has a bit luck and make it work at the first, but then, when he wanted to repair my imei, the phone stucked again in S/W Upgrade.
So I think I messed up my phone.
TL;DR: Messed up phone by removing stock rom, Costume roms don't work except 1 and in that one IMEI is set to zero and I can't connect to any network.
several month ago I had the stock xperia z Lolipop and made a decision to root the device. I unlocked it's bootloader and did the rooting... all as planned. about a month later my phone started acting funny, so I decided to reset it, the problem is I had installed TWRP and as noob in using the app, I accidentally wiped the entire device. I thought I had bricked the thing so I left it aside.
I had been using an older phone as replacement until last week when I thought I'd give the Z another chance. I looked around this forum, found a bunch of stuff, tried a lot of roms and after failing to make 4 roms work (Cyan nougat, Cyan MM, Costumised sony 5.1.1 and a stock one I found here) I managed to find a fifth one that worked (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/android-5-1-available-yuga-pabx-t3054304). I always followed the tutorials but I may have done a lot of mistakes... for example I'm not even sure what kernel is and if I needed to change it for any of the roms or if I needed to like wipe the entire system or not before flashing ( I did all the time), and what about rooting? does the system require a previous rooted rom to install new ones? don't we simply format the entire device?.
Now the major problem of the working rom is that my phone can't connect to it's simcard network, the simcard is working since it requires pincode on start and the phone can find the networks by manual search, it simply gives an error "network XXX unavailable". I looked around and saw that my IMEI is set to all zero's in the phone about section. this could be unrelated to the network problem... but I don't have much expertise in these stuff.
So right now it seems like I can't install any other roms (they won't even start up, most get stuck during boot) and the only one I can install doesn't give me network access.
Any Ideas?
