Installation:
If you are on stock OS, you need a custom recovery first. You can get the recommended TWRP recovery in the official installation instructions link below.
If you are coming from stock or other ROMs, you need to make a factory reset.
As always, make sure to backup before installing this ROM.

MiuiCamera
I have created a flashable ZIP to get MiuiCamera on LineageOS 16.0 for Xiaomi Mi 6 with the new android 9.0 blobs.
The file is attached to this post. Note that it will overwrite the default Snap Camera app so that you don't have two apps. Because of the included addon.d script the Snap Camera will automatically get overwritten and MiuiCamera will get installed over upcoming OTA's. If you want to get rid of this Module just remove /system/addon.d/69-MiuiCamera.sh and reflash the build of your choice, MiuiCamera will get removed and Snap will be added back.

You should use this TWRP: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117891801 because the official one is not up to date with this ROM and can't decrypt your data. Don't use a recovery for System as Root because this official LineageOS does not use System as Root.

Perhaps you should ask the person who maintains this kernel.
LineageOS is like an OEM ... we don't care about/support aftermarket modifications.
Edit:
Haha I didn't realize Arian maintains this kernel.

Did you checked the development settings?
There's the option "Wi-Fi-enhanced MAC randomization.
But I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for.

Is the sim pin bug fixed?

Lets hope it will not stuck at Alpha state like other new roms for I9300. Just make it stable and tune ram management using LMK and Page Mergers + ZSWAP... It will then get another 5 years of use.

No, it still would be better to disable the pin.
(In my case it's working to unlock the device, but the risk still may be exist.)

Yes I also hope that I will be able to make it stable oneday, it's a big challenge.

Included permissions for signature spoofing
Disabled wallpaper zoom ( lowered max scale for the wallpaper when it's zoomed in )
Inserted parted for repartitioning, this will be necessary for most GSI's in future (just a single process, it will persist).
Inserted a fixgsi script, with this we are able to boot up most android 11 GSI's (but most of them will not be stable without my patches).
Via OTA and AFH.

I would recommend to use microG instead of BitGapps,

Open Magisk and update the App (and do a reboot if it's asking)
Enable Zygisk in Magisk
Download and install microG installer in the Magisk manager, reboot
Download and install safetynet-fix in the Magisk manager, reboot
Check with a safetynet checker app and you should pass

I heard that Google is starting to drop support for 32-bit devices since Andrid 12, and I thought Android 12 is not even compile-able for 32-bit devices...
Anyway, you did an amazing work that keeps this very legacy device still alive, a noob like me cannot even imagine to bringup the latest Android for a 9 years old device... XD

Confirmed. Booting into twrp 3.2.1-0 and booting system twice brought back lineageOS 19 for me.

I also faced this one time, try to reboot with the power button and press it shortly some times,
this fixed it in my case.
I will find out sooner or later why it doesn't boot some times,
since then it didn't appeared again on my phone.

Reboot from system works for me. Booting twrp and back to system is problematic.

Install TWRP Recovery
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (Vol-up+Home+Power)
Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
WIPE (System, Data, Dalvik/ART Cache, Cache, Internal Storage)*
Install the ROM from sdcard using TWRP Recovery
Optionally install the Google Apps ( get it here: https://opengapps.org ) (pico GAPPS recommended) (*)
Upgrading from an older build of this ROM
Wipe system partition, wipe dalvik-cache but not data partition
Optionally install Google Apps (GAPPS) (link above)
(*) NOTE: If you're about going to install GAPPS with ROM, install it right after you've installed the ROM, else you have to do a factory reset if you've booted the ROM first

2. Download the Archive.
3. We go into TWRP Recovery.
4. We drop the archive on the Memory Card. If there is no memory card, skip step 5.
5. Do Wipe - (Cleaning), click Advanced Wipe - (Selective cleaning), select System, Data, Cache, Internal Storage - (Device memory). And we do Svayp for cleaning.
6. For whom there is no Memory card. We do Wipe - (Cleaning), click Advanced Wipe - (Selective cleaning), Select System, Data Cache, Internal Storage - (Device memory). And we do Svayp for cleaning. And after that we connect the phone to the PC and drop the archive into memory.
7. Click Install - (Installation) now depending on where you threw the firmware on the Memory Card or in the device's memory. We find the archive and click on it and make a Swipe for the Firmware. And we are waiting. After completion, click Reboot System - (Reboot into the OS).
8. We pass the Setup Wizard.
9. Enjoy the firmware.
