Hello everyone I'm running Xiaomi.eu MIUI 11 ROM.
Is it possible to root it?
Yes do it by Magisk

But Magisk needs to be installed through an recovery right. I did read that TWRP isn't supported on android 10 yet, so if you update the Mi 9 to MIUI 11 it will upgrade it to android 10, so how you install Magisk then?

So you say it will take a month at least for the support to come.
I read this article where there was said it will take longer then usual with new Android releases: https://www.xda-developers.com/twrp-lead-explains-android-10-support-custom-recovery/
What? I am talking that TWRP for android 10 is available longer then mounth https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-mi-9-t3905825

How to root MIUI 11 on xiaomi redmi note 4 (mido)

Hi, my rotation sensors stop working on my mi9. How do i fix it? I know I have to flash the persist file, but I don't know where to start (mi9, miui 11.2 - 20.1.21, twrp stable 3.3.1-0).
+1. I don't know why I have it anyway.

I solved it like this: "download the fastboot rom corresponding to your current version and extract the persist.img.
Then go to twrp Install/ Install as an image, choose Persist and then flash the img.You can download the fastboot ROM here: https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2."
After flashing persist.img you will lose security level. It will be L3 even after flash to stock by MiFlash.

I do not know if flash in EDL mode can helps on this.
You can flash stock Rom for your phone by miflash, chack if it works and flash xiaomi.ue again.

Hi,
I falshed latest vendor firmware, then flashed a custom rom, then a xiaomi.eu miui 11, and again the same custom rom, but my fingerprint is gone! I then flashed an official miui rom, but not fixed again. it's logo isn't coming on the screen at all.
Any idea what should I do?
Is the reader not working at all or just does not recognize the fingerprint?
Try to install official software through miflash and check again.

Hello,
i have a Mi9 6/128 GB and a problem with flashing. My mi9 is unlocked and I have flashed TWRP. I wanted to flash the Xiaomi EU Rome. Now after flashing, the Mi9 starts up to the Mi logo, then it goes off for a short time and the Mi logo comes back, and then it starts again into TWRP.
Did I delete something wrong from the old Rome ? Or can anyone tell me what it could be ?
I am afraid that I have destroyed my Mi9.
Sorry, but I'm a beginner and I'm sorry for my English.
I would be grateful for help
Thanks
Alex
Explain the flash process please. What have you done exactly?

I flashed the TWRP on my mi9. Loaded the mi9 with twrp, then I (I think) deleted the cache and dalvik. Then I flashed the EU rom (zip) and restarted it after flashing. Now it only boots up to the Mi logo and then back into the twrp.
@ Ww222
What do you mean after flashing the EU Rome formatted in TWRP.
Do I have to format something ?
best regards
Alex
Before flashing xiaomi.eu you have to format data and confirm with "yes". Not wipe, format!

so I have to go to wipe in Twrp and then down right to Format Data ? and not left to advanced wipe ?
is that right ?

Yes, exactly. Of course you will lose all data, I hope you did a back-up.
Let me know if it helped.

Installation instructions from xiaomi.eu, after you flash TWRP just follow the steps:
FORMAT /data partition (NEVER wipe System or Persist!)
Copy our ROM to the internal storage
Install our ROM
Reboot
done

Hi,
I want to install a custom ROM on my old MeMOpad 7. I don't know how to do this, are there any ROMs adapted to it. What do you recommend? I'm a noob in custom ROMs. How could I flash it? I want to use of this tablet to browse the internet, reading e-books and maybe using SSH.

Does anyone know if Mi 9 will ever get an official MIUI 12.0.3 update? (I am using the EEU rom)
I had the xiaomi.eu stable version for some time but I had some problems so I switched back to the stock MIUI using the mi flash tool and in the process locked my bootloader. However the 12.0.2 version is missing some features that i really liked. And I would hate to go through the whole process of unlocking the bootloader and installing a custom rom. However if the developement has stopped for the EEU rom I might go back to xiaomi.eu
In China the mi 9 already got 12.0.4 two weeks ago. Looks like europen market isnt important to xiaomi. Thats the reason i preordered a Pixel 5

I was actually thinking to switch to Pixel as well. Xiaomi just doesn't give a damn about non-chinese users.
Sad but true, and if you Look at Android 11 the mi9 has not even a beta
@BenSF93
What problems have you had on xiaomi.eu? I had 12.0.3, now I'm on 12.0.4 and I have no problems, even with Magisk.

I had some strange problem with images. Any app that needed to open images was showing blank thumbnails and no images. Even the system apps like the gallery were affected. So i reverted back to stock rom.
Strange. Everything is fine here. There's been 12.0.4 for a few days. Maybe try it. Unlocking bootloader and flashing TWRP take just a few minutes.

Why do u want 12.0.3? What features do u need?
According to this source, Mi 9 is Confirmed for A11 (as well as Mi 9 SE and Mi 9T Pro, while Mi 9T should be already in internal testing):
https://piunikaweb.com/2020/09/26/x...-purported-list-of-eligible-devices-surfaces/
Does anyone has the changelog for the 12.0.4.0 from Xiaomi.eu ?
I am from Germany using the EEA 12.0.2 and having issues with loading images on websites via wifi. when I switch to mobile data, everything works fine, so I guess there is somehow a "wifi-bug" (??).
where can I download the official 12.0.3 0 QFAEUXM or 12.0.4 0 and where can I see the changelogs??

oopss.... so I was correct if I thought that 12.0.2 was the latest ...
but what is this then ....?? >>> sourceforge.net/projects/xiaomi-eu-multilang-miui-roms/files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-STABLE-RELEASES/MIUIv12/xiaomi.eu_multi_MI9_V12.0.4.0.QFACNXM_v12-10.zip/download
is that the wrong ROM ?
sorry! I saw that this is not EEA but EU.Rom which I cannot use updating the EEA.
could You give me a link with an overview of the actual EEA-ROMs, please?

Sorry, this thread is about Mi 9, not Mi 9T (my mistake)
Anyway, for Mi 9 firmwares look at:
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/cepheus/
Edit:
Btw, your link is "CN" - these are Chinese firmwares, not eea (eea have "EU" in the name, Russian "RU", etc)
