Applying fingerprint to answer calls - ASUS ROG Phone II Questions & Answers

I saw a feature in Asus Zen 6 which you have to apply your fingerprint to answer calls. Why don't we have it here?
Thank you

Vibration on incoming call

Hi all,
The vibration motor in my Gear was damaged and i have sent the watch to the service and now i have it back. They said that the changed the motherboard. So now the vibration motor does indeed work, i have tested through the secret *#0*# menu and have sensed the vibration on other occasions as well (yeah, i know how that sounds - LOL). However, there is no vibration on incoming calls.
Am i missing smth here? Is there an option for that? Do you people have vibration on incoming calls?
I am on null 15 but the same was on stock ROM if i remember correctly.
Thank you!

Turn sounds off and set it to vibrate in the Gear settings menu. As far as I know you can't have both.

Vibration during calls

Hey all,
I can't seem to kill vibration during calls. No matter what all incoming notifications still vibrate during calls. If vibration is enabled on the silent slider setting the phone vibrates all the time. If I disable that, everything is silent. There seems to be no middle ground. The phone vibrating during call is really getting to me. I'm on OOS 4.02 currently rooted. Anyone else have this issue?
Hi!
This is a known issue in Android 7.x.x (see Issue 220951: 7.0 Nougat vibration during call problem in the Google forums, not allowed to post link here)
However, Google fixed this issue by a workaround in an updated phone app in Android 7.1.1 for pixel phones. The updated phone app automatically sets Do Not Disturb mode while calling.
Unfortunately this fix is not available to OnePlus 3(T) phones in Android 7.1.1 as I still experience the issue myself. The phone app cannot be manually updated to the version of the pixel phones, because the newer versions are not compatible with the OS.
I opened a ticket with the OnePlus support and kindly ask you to do the same, since this might increase the pressure on OnePlus to fix the issue.
Best regards
Really annoying issue, I've opened a ticket with Oneplus for this as well.

Incoming call vibration alert

I am new user of moto g5s plus, after one month of usage i feel moto os is having few bugs which is surprising to me since i have used Moto G and G2 before which didnt had major bugs.
Bug:
I have set some ringtone in Sounds settings and disabled vibration alert for incoming calls, but rarely my mobile vibrates for incoming calls with ringtone playing alone.
Have anyone experienced this, please confirm.
Also let me know any workaround to avoid vibration alert.
Hey mechrathi. Do you use latest stock rom? My g5s+ do not vibrate when calling with disabled vibration. There are two places when you can change vibration for incoming calls. One in settings and one in options in Phone application. Make sure both are disabled. It may be trivial note but those vibrations might be caused by some notifications(apps, sms) not related to calling proccess.

Automatic answering in Galaxy note 8

Hello,
I like the automatic answering feature in galaxy note note 8. But the problem is that the time delay between ringer and answering is only 2 seconds. That is before recognizing who is calling, the phone answers, no time to reject the call.
So if any body knows any trick or mode or any application which can delay this time interval between ringing and automatic answering, kindly post in this forum and help me. In this interval we can stop the automatic answering if we want .
Thanking you

Well, depending on why you want the auto answer to kick in, you can use macrodroid app to either answer or reject, but as I have seen , it would be on a per contact or group basis, in macrodroid, you can set any delay you want before confirming the next action, in this case, answer or reject

is there even a setting to do so? never heard of anything like that? there is just an option to accept calls when holding it on your ear, or decline a call by laying the phone flat on the display
