Tried the ROM, it's really stable and better than all ROMs I have tried for Mi 9, even Battery is performing like stock firmware, Good Work
No bug until now
I'm trying the new construction and it looks great; Is it possible to have the torch on the power button?

9.8.1 is recommended!
Is there a way to get Pixel style navbar icons instead of Xiaomi's?
Thanks for the development. I am using it since 1 day and I am quite satisfied. Everything works fine (including dt2w) and the ROM seems stable so far. Battery idle drain is around 1 to 1.5 % which is okay, but I will check during the next days to get a final conclusion. Again, thanks.
Do the screen refresh overclocking mods work on this?
Do you have more information about the OP gestures? Trying to get this to work.
I spent some time to flash COSP BUT i still rolled back PE+ with Los kernel base. Some reasons here:
1.Security is outdated.(It' still in Sep-2019)
2.Phone and message app are outdated as well and cannot be changed into black theme.
3.Cannot install Dolby sound mod.

Yes, battery is good. I was on 0,72% overnight.
@RuinWMD666 Thanks a lot for building this rom. Its clean, fast, easy to use. The clock with notifications in it is very nice, did not know that it existed.
Two minor things:
- Android Auto will cause trouble. Disable hardware overlay in developer options fixes this. This is a problem on every AOSP based ROM.
- Charging in my car is very, very slow. This is also a problem with all AOSP roms. On MIUI charging is faster. So, when i'm in my car it seems that voltage is turning down by AOSP rom.
Is there a fix for charging?

So as this is a great base I will be trying out a project where I cherry-pick the features I want into the rom. I will also share this for people interested and it is also a good way for people to start their own personal rom if they want to as it's a very clean and stable base.

No although I will add the ability to customise it like in CM and other custom roms now as that is a feature that I think should be in stock by default. Yes the rest can be done with Xposed which is another point of the rom

Hey Kayant. I just saw GravityBox added QS customization! This is great news. I was waiting until this was added so I could run a PureAOSP based rom without any features that could possibly slow down the system (all ROMS I tried had some lagginess) so this will be my daily driver! Thanks!
EDIT: Kayant, is this based only on AOSP? Because I see that you said "same bugs as CM" in OP?
EDIT2: How is Pink performing on this ROM? I used it on CrDroid but when calling screen would'nt turn on again (proximity sensor). Is this issue also present in this ROM?

Same issue here. Also having a problem when booting, the first 3 minutes everything is in English and only after 3 minutes the language of the ROM changes to my language... Do you have the same issue? Also when turning WiFi on/off, there appears "<Unknown SID>" for 1 sec.. Also, where do I find options like quick pulldown and DPI change? I can't find the features you stated in OP. But very smooth ROM though!
Can confirm Pink Kernel is working perfectly on this ROM! No proximity issues or reboots/lags. Try it!
Only bugs in ROM so far:
-WiFI on / off shows "<unknown SSID>" for ~ 0.5 sec.
- Chosen language only applied after entering SIM code
- Location icon not disappearing in status bar after enabling it
- In dialer, text in Dutch is not fitting in search bar from Dialer. If you find the time, could you change "Typ een naam of telefoonnummer" in "Typ een naam of nummer"? Then it will fit perfectly. Now only half of the text appears..
Great work though! Dialy driver.
This ROM is great. Flashed pink kernel, no problems there, everything runs fast and smooth. Only bug for me is the above mentioned gps icon, it's no big deal though, thanks Kayant!

I have tried it with pink kernel: full wipe except for data, coming from Blisspop 2.1. For me it does nog work, as soon as I make a call and let the screen go off by proximity the phone does not respond tot input anymore and reboots.
You also have a 1039 model correct?
What version of Pink did you flash?
Did you flash pink after first boot, or immediatly with the ROM?
And last: what Gapps package are you using?
I would love tot het Pink working, darnet! )
Hello guys,
kernel compatibility seems to be a major problem here. How about using the stock kernel of any ROM if you need your phone as a daily driver?
I always just make a TWRP backup of only boot.img before flashing a custom kernel because it is easy to restore and anything without the need to create a .zip every time.
Note please, that this is only a recommendation by me.
If you want, I can make such a boot-backup and load it into my cloud, so you can easily downgrade and have no trouble later.
See, it doesn't serve any purpose to write all the bugs in here (again) that are already listed. I propose that we keep this clean by looking through the posts written after the announce of a new version and only posting new bugs if they really are new. It will help Kayant as well.
In addition to that, it would help him (if you fear he might think that bug X is only appearing once), if you would just thank the guy who posted the bug and so thank him for sparing you the time to mention bug X again.
Kind regards.
Is there someone who would like to share contacts.apk from this ROM with me?
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7AfWCczC_wLQnltam1Vd1cwXzQ/edit?usp=docslist_api
@keenofhiphop you sir, deserve my greatest thanks! Thanks a lot
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead sdcards, explosions, nuclear wars, alarm applications getting failed or any kind of damage to your device, please read the first two posts carefully before deciding to flash this rom, any questions which are already answered in the first and second posts will be ignored.
What is this ?
This is my custom LineageOS based rom which I initially made just for personal use, some users requested me to share it, so I did that. This is a minimal rom with only those features that I use and I really don't like to add too much. If you have some requests then sure, post them but don't keep high expectations that it will be added, I am always reading your posts but will add only those features which I like or which seem very necessary. There are no useless optimisations here, these builds are compiled with stock toolchains.
Does it get updates ?
Usually I update this once in a week, sometimes I could update it in 4 days and sometimes in 8 days, there is no fixed update period but since this is my daily driver and I don't like to use outdated stuff, so this rom will be updated whenever necessary. There is no inbuilt updater app, If you use it, you have to download full builds from here only.
Short feature list -
Full oms support, install substratum from play store and use themes
Network meter in statusbar is available with hide arrows option
Options to customize quicksetting tiles rows and columns
Volte icon is available, can be toggled if you don't like it
Wakelock blocker is available in customization menu
Option to turn on/off fingerprint authentication vibration
Option to allow unlock at first boot with fingerprint
Killed some lockscreen animations, makes unlocking faster
Easy toggles for wifi, bluetooth, data are available
Built with inbuilt los root, removed the # icon permanently
Option to add screenrecord button in power menu
Option to disable screenshot shutter sound
Default gallery is old los gallery because I don't like new one
Cpu info overlay is available in development settings
Killed lots of logging and failed to acquire lock spam on touch
Kernel used is radon latest, always with balanced setting
Many new qs tiles like reboot, screenshot, hw keys toggle, sound
Some other info -
This rom is rooted by default, to unroot, just download official los unroot addon and flash it.
You cannot flash official los over it, verification will fail and it will not flash, better go for clean flash.
Both kenzo and kate users should use firmware from official los thread post #2.
Kernel Info -
This rom uses latest stable version of radon with following settings - balanced performance, quick charge off, selinux enforcing, new thermal engine, warm enhanced colors.
You can easily change these settings without rebooting with my Radon kernel control app or you can just re-flash radon kernel to change these settings in installer itself.

Changes¬The video recording in the camera has been fixed (so far ha1, without camera2api - hal3, as it should be at 7, because the proprietary of 6, the third party also works)!
¬Fixed voice recording in recorders and instant messengers
¬New Nosgoth 3.18.31 kernel is used (by Anomalchik, I'm on the hook)
Bugs¬Hearing on calls with active pop-up notifications (disinfected in settings - screen - pop-up notifications)
¬Stock camera green on video recording in the dark
¬Small Battery Drain caused by System?!
The ROM won't be updated frequently so keep that in mind.
Download From GDrive
Installation
¬Go to TWRP
¬Wipe and then Click on Advanced Wipe
¬Check the followings if you want a clean Installation:
[*]Davlik Cache,

My guess would be changes in the System itself meaning that Razziell edits the RR first then applies the changes in LOS,CrDroid so maybe the code would be a lil different causing that bug to persist.

Pixel Experience ROM for the Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy S9
What is this?
Pixel Experience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, bootanimation)
Our mission is to offer the maximum possible stability and security, along with essential features for the proper functioning of the device
Based on Android 9.0

This it not a GSI. It is built on actual device trees
What's working/not working?
First up:
-HWC is disabled
-The signalbar always shows 0, altho calling and data have no issue and should work as intended.
Obviously Samsung's own features such as Samsung Pay, KNOX, Theme Center, Game Launcher, etc. won't be ported to LineageOS Pixel Experience. We may have our own implementation to similar functions, though.
Iris sensor does not work because AOSP upstream does not support that yet.
IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS PixelExperience.

A: Go into mobile network settings and select/create an apn, also select 4G as the preferred network type.
Q: How does this compare to GSIS?
A: Much better all around. Faster, smoother etc. I don't think there's any reasons to use pie gsis anymore.
Q: How good is the camera?
A: Actually,(by my standards), pretty good. Almost comparable to stock. Ofc the aosp cam doesn't have the fancy filtering, features and stuff but by far not bad. Alot better than 8.1 roms anyway.
Q: Safetynet doesn't pass?
A: Yeah, i guess that's a thing. Go into magisk and download some module called props hide or something. Don't forget to run it from terminal. It should work from there
Q: The rom isn't booting/camera doesn't work
A: Flash/make sure you have the CSB3 vendor and fw, and try again. This has been tested. It's prolly something on ur end.
Q: The rom is in a bootloop/google apps keep crashing
A: You did read the instructions and NOT flash any gapps riighhttt?? smh, wipe /system,/data and /cache and start over
Q: I have another bug; How can i tell it to you while slightly increasing my changes of it ever getting fixed.
A: You can tell me what's going on either here or on telegram WITH A LOGCAT attached(required);if rom isn't booting at all attach /proc/last_kmsg.
Q: I don't know what/how to logcat. Is it really necessary?
A: Logcat or gtfo
Q: How can i support you?
A: Awwww thanks; On most of my posts on the left side there's a "donate to me" paypal button;. Send the seal some fish. Seriously. The seal realllyyyyy loves fish. You can do that, donations are more than welcome, or if you don't have any $ to spare you can also post here about how awesome i am (this surprisingly helps very much)

Is "OK Google" and voicematch working on this ROM?
It's happening boys! Thanks for this rainbow
Thanks for the Rom! Working good
Some things I noticed:
-SD card isn't working. Always says tap to fix
-some animations could be smoother but it's because of the HWC
Great first impression so far.
Thanks again!
Does any kernel work on this rom? This rom is really smooth and very good am surprised" greetings..
Just a quick update:
Mah boi @Eamo5 is cooking up endurance kernel for this, and he claims w it it's much smoother. Idk, i guess we'll wait and see.
Also i've built a couple other roms and will be opening threads shortly

i am wondering if its better than the stock which i am getting only 2 to 2:40 screen on time
(and the last question does ambient music work or not?)
(i still did not root or tripped the knox but i am coming from th OG Pixel and i missed stock android and i dont know if it worth it)

You prolly have the dualsim variant. Can you try removing the simcard tray and rebooting
Dual sim here. Took tray out and rebooted. Only sees the 2nd sim.

Every reboot yes dualsim. I have to removing sim tray and no signal is shown never and mobile data not working at all.

Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
I have dual sim and it works.
Some bug report:
1. Gboard sound and vibration disappear every time after restart or vibration mode on/off.
2. Settings menu randomly change its theme form white to black. Killing in recents helps.
3. All system vibrations are f.... You know that
Everything else is pretty smooth though

Why not make a new post instead of hijacking this thread this early into its life? Give Raysteff some more respect, man.

I shared it for treble users, not know it could have impact on a dev that ported a ROM.
I shared it for this ROM also, maybe it give more advantages compared to vendors we already have and where is not known which one to use.
Oh wait we don't need to flash vendor for this ROM,lol I forgot
Viper OS it's a good thing, I remember my HTC m9 with viper on it, was amazing, but how it can compare with latest pure stock mod rom? maybe someone trying this one already
Dolby atmos does not work, but dolby digital plus does.Combined with sauron mod and custom config file, the audio quality is ok (come close to dolby atmos)
But this rom got same bugs as earlier los15 builds.Turning of wifi acces for apps force close settings.Security patch is on reboot random from 2018,other time its from 2019.Random safetycheck fails/true in magisk
Also on every reboot, magisk modules are not shown in app drawer.I need to wipe cache and dalvik everytime in twrp to fix this issue (dont know the cause).
The vendor partition also contains files where i have my ? on it.What does the vendor/etc/perf folder do? Well i think it boost the vendor system, but its not needed? Ive just wiped the folder from vendor partition (ive notice this folder boost display touch also to 1036mhz on any moment you touch it,and it stays on that freq)
And the feull gauge problem still persist.
Perfect rom for me, very smooth, light, include enough tweaks and optimization, after long time searching I have found what I need.
Now I got guaranteed 6h of comfort watching youtube vanced, it can be even 7h, with my old ~80% life battery , for me it's success, compare to other roms, so I can recommend it for trying to everyone, thanks for this topic
PS. Can't find any problems with magisc modules, I use this rom without any kernels or vendors, just flash it with beangapps, ainur, and etc. Audiofx to me it's not ideal, so I remove it with installation musicfx, By the way, can't find working Dolby Atmos, DD+ works but sound is terrible, I like what I hear without dolby, and even do not want to go back to a clean and optimized latest stock mod, because viperos suits me good

Switched to this rom from DotOs after I found out my banking app doesn't work with any of the 9.0 GSIs. First impressions seem great. A few features Dotos had are missing but there are other ones which it didn't have. Battery life seems better with Schwifty kernel v5. Thanks!
Which G modem do you recommend? I seem to be having some GPS issues with the one from the LOS 15.1 post.

That was really the best answer i could get thank you very much you are the man wow
Im testing this Rom for 1 day straight now and I have to admit for me, it is the most stable and even the fastest Rom. :good:
I never thought that the build in camera app is so good, even has hdr and slow motion, 1080p 60 fps and 4k recording is no problem at all
Extremly light, no junk apps at all and lots of customization options. Though, i miss a few tiny things
1. Turn on Torch LED when phone is sleeping with holding down power button.
2. A more advanced power menu
3. Screenrecording (Idk if its possible in 8.1 though, ive used it a lot in some other Pie roms)
:good:
With this ROM my bluetooth headphones playback control sometimes don't work or it lags pretty bad. (Next/Prev Track, Pause/Play) Didn't have this problem with any other ROM before. Now I can't easily skip tracks anymore.
