After the issues with Huawei breaking and killing my warranty (also my p9 lite), i wanted to buy Oneplus 5T. However , i've seen this Mate 10 pro with decent specs and good features and it was 50$ more than Oneplus 5T.
I only want a phone for battery camera and software. Should i risk my money (and sanity with the warranty) for this device or should i stick with Oneplus 5T?

If you are in the states don't buy the c567 model go for the international one. IS models are not receiving updates as frequently as European model

The ROMS for the Mate 10 pro aren't perfect. If you want to run AOSP or something closer to it like near stock android, the one plus 5T is the stable option. If you are okay with the EMUI then the Mate 10 pro has better hardware IMO. If you like to tinker with less than perfect ROMS, then I'd go with the Mate 10 Pro but I'm sure the one plus 5T has more ROM development.
That's my two cents.

Huawei killed bootloader unlock. I can go for oneplus5T but it has 64 gb while.mate 10 pro has 125gb. Again skeptical for Huawei because i don't want to get headaches in the long run about the warranty.

If you're lucky you get a device on low enough firmware to downgrade and use DC/HCU to get unlock code. If not you will have to pay $30 or $55 depending on what site you chose.
I would rather get the OnePlus if you want root/custom roms.
What warranty issues did you have with p9?

Unlock. Downgrade is free IF possible. For example:
On BLA-L29C432B142 you can use DC. On B145 it doesn't work but can be downgraded using service firmware. B146 or higher can not be downgraded past B146. Build is not the same on every cust, so if you are on C636 the build where DC works is different. But generally it's May patch firmware.
Paid expensive unlock is done by FH and ministryofsolutions. If you have rebranded using FH before you can not use their service (FH Rebrand changes your imei in fastboot).

My phone has 3 issues with EMUI 5 updates (when it launched for the first time). I made a post about it on my account. I just want a long run phone. Do you think this is worth the money or 5T is better?
Well? Should i waste my time with Huawei again or move on with Oneplus/ google pixel 1?
Actually the Mate 10 pro is an excellent device.. But considering the possibilities of an one plus 5 or 6, I'd not go with Huawei anymore.
Same. Mate 10 pro has so many great features but it is not a long run device. I can see myself changing it in 2 years after Huawei will kill my phone like their attempt with my P9 lite. Oneplus 5T is a great deal for me but the camera is not as impressive like on Mate 10 pro and only has 64gb. The fast charging is pretty neat on 5T, but the long lasting battery on Mate 10 pro is very nice for me too.
Idk which to pick. I can go for 5T for the long run (which may keep me more than 4 years due to development), but we will see what will happen during christmas. Either way, i have the google pixel pinned on my shopping list. If Oneplus 5T 128gb gets cheaper, then i will go for 5T.
Also Mate 10 pro doesn't have the bootloader unlocked, thus the phone aging from outdated software.
Ok so looks like Oneplus isn't trustable anymore. I've seen many posts about security issues and that pushed me away from the company.
Ok Huawei, you won... Buying mate 10 pro

Oh that's an interesting take on the situation, I was going to recommend the mate 10 pro anyway but for different reasons.
I came from an OP3, battery life of the mate 10 pro is a different league, software, bar a few foibles, is ok. Although there's still issues with android auto compatibility and as has been mentioned custom ROM scene is impacted by lack of bootloader unlock. With hindsight I'm still happy I made the right choice, hopefully when I'm due an upgrade other OEMs will have decided to fit usable batteries.

I could had gone for oneplus 5T but i don't want to go change my rom just when i purchase it. Huawei killed my nerves with the warranty. So you got your mate 10 pro too?
I had the Essential PH-1 and the Mate 10 Pro. I sold the Essential PH-1 even though it already had full Pie on it. The screen of the Mate 10 Pro is a beauty and it's fast and snappy at anything I throw at it. However, as others have said, if you want to get to Pie quicker or you like to tinker with your phone and use a ROM, you are pretty much out of luck. If you are OK with the latest security updates on Oreo and the thought that you "maybe" getting Pie then it's an excellent phone. If I had the chance to buy the Mate Pro again I would go for the International version even without warranty. I do want the face-unlock and other features that the US version hasn't received and might not receive.
It's a tough decision. I might look at the latest One Plus 6 or the Mate 20 when it comes online. But the price difference is too large and I want a great phone now - so I am quite happy with the Mate 10 Pro.

The only phone i can buy is the international.
Again. Oneplus 5T is a great phone but the software has terrible security and privacy (by the looks of it.)
Mate 10 has solid and flagship features but support is as bad as the long term software updates.
Again, i can go for Oneplus 5T but i don't want huge headaches changing roms. Besides, Google implemented whatever "limitation" that will not make your phone trustable unless yadda yadda.
Google pixel was a good phone but it's a 2016 device and the pixel experience will pretty much be gone.
The only options are oneplus 5T and Mate 10 pro. Oneplus 5T with good specs and software but bad privacy. Again, i can buy it but i don't want to change the software just when it was fresh bought.
Mate 10 pro has many features and great design. Also the pc mode is very very cool and it does not need a dock. Also has always on display, which Oneplus 5T has only by rooting it (unless Oneplus implements it). But, as we know, Huawei has terrible software support and warranty as well (warranty being my case).
In my opinion, i think Mate 10 pro is a better value for the simple fact that has water resistance, pixel-like camera, 4k battery and other hidden features, but i have to send my cousin to buy it so HUAWEI won't add anything sketchy in it :laugh::laugh:.
Oneplus 5T is a mate 10 pro in a cheaper form. Great specs, great build, great battery and great charging. But the software raises your anxiety with these "privacy and security" issues. A custom ROM solves the issue (as i said earlier).
I want to hear your opinions about these 2 devices. I want to buy a phone for the long run. This is my opinion. Sorry that the post feels weird, but i am always skeptical of buying new phones, especially "flagships"

I really am surprised at the security concerns with OOS, I'm still active on the OnePlus community forums and haven't seen any recent security scares, the android patches are September and everything else seems OK.
The big advantage that led me to choose the Huawei is the battery. OnePlus are still fitting 3400mah batteries ,which too my mind are too small, clever software tweaks can compensate, but those same tweaks can make the mate 10 pro even better.

Actually about the security and privacy of Oneplus's OOS is the fact that it can collect all your activity through an app that gets all your logs and sends them to Oneplus. Again, skeptical with both the devices. I am sorry for my "temper" between these 2 devices, but , again, i am concern about my purchase as i want a phone to last me more than 3 years (at least)

I think most modern phones will last more than 3 years on the hardware side, judging by the support I've received so far for the Mate 10 pro, I'm skeptical that software support will last 2 years let alone 3. OnePlus are much more supportive of the development community so custom support is much better.
A word of caution though, both devices are 2017 devices a full two years official support will take them to 2019 you are after support for 3 years, from now that takes you to 2021, that is well outside the official support window of even the best devices.

So what should i buy between those 2 devices?
Hello guys ,
So i was currently thinking of upgrading my oneplus 3
But i couldn't settle on a certain phone , the only 2 phones in my mind would be the oneplus 7 pro and Samsung galaxy s10 plus since both cost the same where i live , let me know what you think guys
I am going to wait for the Pixel 4 and then make a decision..
I would choose the 7 Pro over the S10 Plus for its VFM and screen!
The s10's price is diving so you may be able to pick up a bargain. Depends on your criteria.
Sent from my GM1913 using Tapatalk
Currently using the 3T and will be upgrading to the s10 plus. I'm just waiting for the price of the s10 plus to dip a bit further down. Personally I think the s10 plus is more equipped with features and well rounded.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
Ordered the Oneplus 7 pro (Almond colour) 8/256, will arrive tomorrow. Very excited.
But will still keep my OP3 with me for as long as it lives.

The S10 plus is a really great phone but i keep getting pulled away due to the below points
1. Touch wiz and the history of updates
2. Developer community always better on one plus devices
3. The notchless screen on the oneplus 7 pro makes it look much appealing the s10 plus screen .

Congrats , let us know what you think when you receive it
I get your point. Samsung is refining oneui to bring it closer to stock android and is increasing update supports for it's flagships, according to latest reports and that's good enough for me.
Oneplus phones surely has more community support, but nowadays phones with stock roms has got so much better that the idea of installing custom roms is becoming less tempting.
The 7 Pro may look more appealing because of it's all screen design, but I still have some reservations about the pop up camera with regards to how long it will remain functional as a moving part.
I'm not trying to convince you as to why the s10 plus is a better phone then the 7 Pro because both phones are great in their own way, I'm just sharing my personal reason why I'm going to get the s10 plus as my next phone.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
Personally I'm keeping my op3 as long as it's working and not struggling with doing anything. However of it were to die tomorrow I'd be looking at he op7 pro, the Xiaomi black shark 2, or the oppo Reno 10x zoom
Take a look at Xiaomi Mi 9
Zenfone 6 since it will officially receive lineage os. I don't like the size of the phone and just 18W charging but it has the greatest battery life.
If the s10e becomes cheaper and receives lineage os, I'll gladly opt for it.

I'm looking for a mate 20 pro, I'm waiting for huawei/trump fight to end (I don't want to buy a phone that is not going to have android Q).
Also I'm a little bit annoyed to not be able to unlock bootloader.
But mate 20 pro is what I want, great camera and battery

You have the budget for the S10, so I don't see why you can't buy the Pixel
Right now in India, the smaller pixel 3 is priced lower than the s10. I don't know how much it is in your country.
Pretty sure the smaller pixel 4 variant will be around the same price range.
I sure as hell won't buy a device with a notch and no headphone jack. I am at minority here but those are my requirements for now.
Redmi K20 Pro and Zenfone 6Z are top contenders for my money (I don't want to go back to IPS LCD but might have to). OnePlus phones are naturally out because they decided to "follow trend" and removed headphone jack. OP3 is working fine for my usage and i don't need the best camera, an average camera will do for me so no appeal of Pixel 4 to me at all. So for now, yeah, not many options, K20 pro is choice 1, zenfone 6z being 2nd.
I'm thinking about OP6 as it's the last OP with headphone Jack and notification LED. I know the notch isn't great but for me, small notch + OLED > LCD.
OP7, not the pro version because I definitely do not want a phone with moving parts. No Samsung, I have nothing with the brand...
But as others said before, will keep using my OP3T as long as possible. Fast, two days of battery life, great camera and straight forward; still did not find a good reason for making a switch. ..
I'd buy an iPhone, currently using oneplus 3, lasted for 2years. Still snappy with good battery backup.
So,I'm due an upgrade this year and usually stick with Oneplus and currently have a 6T,
My usual upgrade would take me to a Oneplus 8 but I'm reading not so many great things about these phones such as hole punch cameras and the price is gonna be crazy for the Standard 8 and 8 pro
But here we have a phone that will probably be similar in specs and possibly better in places with the X2 pro.
I'm not crazy anymore about OxygenOS,sure it's great but it's boring after all these years. A little more features or some might say bloat can be useful and I hear ColorOS is pretty good in this regard.
Oneplus has slowed with updates for older devices so I think I could live with less updates.
Would you guys upgrade to a X2 pro considering you can get the 12/256 model for €449 now on Amazon or should I wait to see what Xaomi do though the k30 doesn't look that appealing if it turns out to be the mi 10.
Did anyone upgrade from a 6 or 6T to this phone ?

Yes, Ideally this would be true but I think the next gen of high end SD chips are gonna be more expensive and power hungry due to uneeded 5g. a lot of mid range well priced phones from Xaoimi will be having mid range chips like 765.
I actually think there is a good case to skip the next gen of chips because they are mainly for 5g which most users in the world dont need
I personally encourage you to get this phone. ColorOS has some interesting features and it's rock solid. The phone is very responsive and I have a good SOT. Talking about battery, the VOOC charging is unbelievably fast! I have so much to say about the Realme X2 Pro, but the conclusion is that I don't regret my decision.

Probably the best value for the money at this time :good:
Pros
90hz Display which is very good
UFS 3.0
12gb Ram (top variant)
256gb Storage
50w SuperVooc
Great design & build.
Decent Cameras.
Cons
ColorOS still needs work and that comes in 0S7, with realme perhaps doing their own thing?
Cameras are just average (made better with Gcam) although as yet still not a stable build for the X2 Pro.
Overall for what you are paying them yea it's a very very good purchase :good:

Lol,makes sense, though from what I've seen on YouTube and other reviews the cameras are pretty competitive with other flagships, not the greatest but decent in most departments,
I personally don't like using gcam because its usually unstable and annoying.
Still not convinced by the phone though with ColorOS though it should be interesting to see what colorOs7 is like.

ColorOS runs just fine in terms of performance, it's just a bit disorganized, Cameras they are perfectly fine in good light, but I'd say they do struggle and the Samsung made GW1 64mgp sensor isn't great, but the price you can let the cam be the way it is, it's not shockingly poor, it's just average and the price point for everything else made it a great purchase for me.

OIS is not needed in any kind of way thanks to the Snapdragon 855+ and 12 GB Ram
i can tell you the difference , when i was using the P20 Pro i had always lags making any kind of video.
using the X2 Pro with 30 or 60 FPS its like Butter , also the way the camera reacts like speed focus etc you dont even need OIS so trust me you would have a lot of fun
The Only bad thing about the Camera is the Night Shot Mode ... you cant compare it with Huawei
but without that its simply perfect in my eyes and i did a lot of pictures using the stock camera app

I believe the phone will receive support for Android 10 and 11. Updates every two months with security patch and a big update soon to colorOS 7,
Have you received timely updates as yet ?
Tbh it's a huge upgrade over the 6t... It's better in everyway except oxygen and as I've said before to others the euro version from Amazon Spain is one of the most bloat free and fluid operating systems around. Regarding the camera I've got to agree with @natedogg20050 it's a excellent camera and if you know how to use it correctly I've mostly got better shots then my son's mate 20 pro and wife's view 20.... Then when you consider the price to spec it's truly unbeatable in my opinion. I've had the OnePlus 6t and loved it but to me the X2 pro is far better.
Edit: Regarding updates I've received 1 update each month since getting the phone.

Thanks for the input,I looked at many reviews and comparisons over the last while and have concluded that the X2 pro is the best and most interesting deal out there.I am now bored with my 6T and wanted a change so this morning on Christmas I have just ordered my X2 pro 12/256 model in blue from Amazon Spain to receive it next week.
In regards to camera, most if not all the reviews I have looked at are positive. Ive seen that they have improved camera quality in recent updates also , particularly with low light shots.
I think people who do criticise are only nitpicking generally that a particular color may not be exactly the same as it is real life or stupid little things like that. The camera from what I've seen is excellent for the price including everything else.
Excited to use a phone with 12gb ram also,as I've only ever had 6 at most,90hz should be fun too and the little features of ColorOs.
Merry Christmas everyone.
I still cannot decide between OnePlus 7T and Realme X2 Pro. Coming from a really clean Moto G4+ experience and being kind of a power user (not gaming wise but regarding usage time & used features), I'm a little afraid that Color OS maybe couldn't deliver my wished quality. And video OIS and night capabilities of the 7T camera seems to be much better considering many YouTube comparisons.
On the other hand Realme offers super fast charging, interesting software features (three finger screenshot crop and all this nice little things) for a much lower price tag.
In my country it has a great price and is one of my top options. But I hear that miui has a lot of problems. Should I look for another phone from another phone brand instead or do i buy the redmi note 10 pro?
{Mod edit}
Edit: Im going to go with it and buy the redmi note 10 pro. People who have had it said that they didnt have any problems. I feel it in my guts that i will be happy if i buy this phone. Plus it has good specs, a big battery, a simple elegant design and miui has notification/quick toggle separation
I'd say no.
I went from a poco f1 to a redmi note 10 pro and apart from the charging speed and speakers it's a huge downgrade.
especially the camera and the sound through the 3.5mm port.
Look, MIUI is absolutely garbage. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you're 100% sure you want to install a custom rom at which point the phone is great. If you don't want to fiddle with that go for a samsung or something.

Why is it garbage. I went form slow and laggy S21 with OneUI to Mi 11, then to Note 10 Pro because of 3.5mm and cheaper price.
This is overall the best device i ever had, even better than Mi 11 while cheaper.
Miui has more features and it's much faster than OneUI, no lag and battery is incredible.
I also tried few custom roms, features are limited, no face unlock, app lock, etc...
However i use EU model that doesn't have all the tracking and ads like global models do.
I would 100% recommend this phone.
I just received mine today as a cheap run-around but I have so far no issues what so ever with MIUI. Despite having quite a bit less powerful than my Tab S7+ it feels almost as smooth and snappy. The only issue I had with this device was with the IR blaster but that was purely inadequate software. Uninstalled the stock app and one free app from the Play Store later and the IR blaster functions as expected and I can operate every TV in the house with it. I also found the colours to be a little bit blander than my S7+ but there's an option in the settings for colour schemes to always enhance the colours which makes the world of difference and now I'd say it's comparable with the colours on my Tab S4 which still has a beautiful screen even by today's standards.

Every samsung is laggy as soon as you install couple of apps and fill half of the storage. MIUI is faster, also battery is non comparable, both charging speeds and drain.

With the shear amount of Samsung devices I have I can tell you with absolute certainty that that statement is not true at all. I have over 70 GB worth of apps on my Tab S7+ right now and it isn't phased at all. Even my old Tab S4 has managed a good 40 GB of apps with no slow down what so ever.

Its simply impossible to have more lag in S21 than in Note 10 Pro no matter how many apps you install, I mean look at the specs. One of them is factually the best Android phone and top tier flagship, competing with the likes of Pixel 6 and iPhone 13, and the other is a low-midrange tier phone.
And who said OneUI has no app lock or face unlock?
Did you use the budget One UI lite for low range Samsung phones? Low end samsung phones are terrible. Please stop spreading false information, or even if its true someone 100% conned you into buying a faulty or fake S21.
The statement "S21 is better than Note 10 Pro" makes zero sense. Its like saying iPhone 4 is better than iPhone 13
Done't buy any Xiaomi phones unless you are a Chinese citizen or use Chinese apps (MIUI is very optimised for the Chinese ecosystem), or you want to flash a custom ROM.
If you are okay with flashing custom ROMs and have tight budget limits then go for it

Note 10 Pro is faster than S21 "original obviously". You Samsung fanboys are in denial Samsung has terrible ram management, bad multitasking and is laggyer than Miui.
As far as App Lock or Face unlock i was talking about custom roms for Note 10 Pro based on Android 12.
With both Mi 11 and 10 Pro i had much better experience, multitasking is super fast when switching opened apps. For me it has to be instant, maybe you guys have higher tolerance on samsung phones.
However i will check out S22 ultra with that SD 8 Gen1 and hope for the best.

RN10 Pro is best phone you can get *for the money*. Pointless to be comparing it to higher models which are higher price then saying its not as good.
So far stellar experience for me and MIUI 12.5 (esp EU) is superior to other custom ROMs. Native based MIUI ROMs ensure you get the best camera performance as non-native ROMs degrade cam performance in one way or another. MIUI 12 is a vast improvement over past MIUI versions, and I presume those who dont like MIUI are speaking with these past versions in mind.
No.1 criterial I went for RN10 Pro is 5000MaH battery. Higher up phones have smaller batteries and with their more powerful chips drain battery quicker. I use my phone as a PHONE, not as a gaming device. So its from that perspective I speak. Gamers will speak in other terms and with other criteria in mind.

Trying to automatically unlock the phone when connecting Bluetooth to the car, I had to learn that MIUI is crippled against standard Android. Its Smart Unlock only unlocks against Xiaomi devices! But
1. Xiaomi does not manufacture any car
2. I moved away from Apple because they tried to lock me in their product portfolio.
By having a Samsung Galaxy S3 I learned that Samsung modifications of Android are not good. But Xiaomi seems to be not better.
The Note 10 Pro is a good device, but MIUI is a disadvantage. Like TouchWiz is a disadvantage for Samsung which lets me ignore any Samsung device before having seen any test and never recommend a Samsung device. By disabling standard Android functionality for marketing reasons Xiaomi is on the way to the same personal mental trashcan.

No, I've had no trouble at all with MIUI. The only things I'm not bothered about are the occasional ads in system apps and Mi Music but that's personal preference. The ads can be freely turned off in the settings in Mi Music btw. I'm using a port of Samsung Music on it which works amazingly and Oto is excellent as well.

I have both MIUI 13.0.3 and OneUI 4.0 to hand right in front of me and I'll argue every day that that simply isn't true. Search Google for OneUI vs MIUI and see what comes up.

Had both, don't need to search. On S21 i had lag/stuttering issues while multitasking and switching apps, i have no such problems on MIUI.
However this was late last summer, and OneUI 4 was just released, so it's probably fixed. I also had A71 and recently A52s, and since those are mid range they are also not faster in regular use than mid range Note 10 Pro.

Is this still the best bang for the buck phone in 2022? custom ROMs still working good? issues ironed out? ShOuLd I bUy ThIs OvER a SaMmY pHoNe LiKe a A52?!?!??!
There is no manufacturer which I'd recommend without hesitation. Android is in a horrible state after the manufacturers modified it. For Xiaomi this is crippled Always-on-display, disabled Smart Unlock (Bluetooth) etc. Many restrictions for marketing purposes. MIUI is developed without understanding how the memory on Linux shall be managed: You keep everything in memory until someone wants it, so application switching is fast. The installed bloatware is ok, could uninstall it and thanks to DNS66 never saw an ad.
Samsung in my opinion is even worse than Xiaomi. If I buy a phone, it is my device. I want to be able to see all files on it and do a backup. But opening the bootloader Knox gets triggered. They modify big parts of Android for their UI, that's why updates cost them much effort to adopt their changes to new versions. More effort for Samsung, more bugs, worse experience for the user.
If you want a good Android experience, you probably should have a look at Google pixel phones. But bang for the buck is difficult here.
In summary given the choices I'd say the Xiaomi is fine. You could consider the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE if you don't need dual SIM and additional SD card, because 5G will replace 4G one day.
Imho yes but only when you use custom kernel and rom. If you stick with stock ones especially Miui 13 it really sucks, Miui is too resource heavy for 732g SOC. For example when driving I like to listen to spotify in the background and use google maps even though these tasks are fairly lightweight this phone with Miui 13 struggles to run them without stutters and freezes. If you're okay with running stock android like rom, that is when the SOC shines. It runs much more apps than spotify and maps no problem real fluid.

i'm kinda a die hard SD card and headphone jack dude - so this does limit my choices...i mean i had my galaxy note 4 for 6 years (with roms) lol and I'm just starting to get over the fact I won't be able to easily replace batteries in these new phones...ugh. thanks for your sobering input

interesting this is exactly what i'm deciding between...you had enough of playing with roms? what's the reason for the trade?
The prices I'm seeing; the A52s is twice the price of the Note 10 Pro, so not an even comparison. I just ordered a Note 10 Pro for $200.
In my country Note 10 pro is around $350 brand new in stores for 128GB, and A52s is about 20-30 bucks more.

i found at same prime when buyed.. 260 euro for note 5 pro, 280 for a52
Note 10 Pro has proven to be still better that the next gen, freshly released Note 11 Pro. Easy to repair because screens are on the 120 bucks mark while the back cover is solid plastic, very nice to see and touch and won't break if you pry it for a battery change. Also the silicon cover is great from preventing fall damage.
After debloating its very balanced on any task, but don't expect flagship peak performance by any means yet battery lasts a lot (on short usage sessions it lasted me 3 days without charging, 1,5-2 with continuous/intense usage). Imho, after years going Samsung-only I had enough with Knox nonsense, increasing sales pricing and hard-to-repair phones.
According to the specs, the back cover of the Note 10 pro is gorilla glass 5, not plastic.
The Note 11 pro review I saw at gsmarena would suggest that the Note 11 pro is mostly a downgrade from the Note 10 pro, except for the 5g bands.
Edit to add: There's a 4g and a 5g version for it.
Yes, still the best in this price range of ~230 USD.
Samsung A52 costs 390 USD lol, not even comparable here

Yeah but 5G isn't available anywhere, plus the more users move into new cell tech the more smooth the 4G is going to be. Would not consider unless you're into high speed hype.

Realization just struck me. I have the Glacial Blue version that, along with Vintage Bronze are in fact frosted glass while there's not much about the black version which seems to be more common here. I got blinded by disassembly videos where non-Pro versions were considered the same thing as for Pro, so I just made a mistake. Guess I will eventually challenge myself to remove it in future whenever necessary, such as a battery change. They still look pretty simple and solid to remove and the glass lens vessel is separate tho (right, Apple?). Thanks for pointing out!
Yes, personally I don't care for 5g. 4g LTE is fine. One thing that both of the Note 11 Pro models (4g & 5g) have are increased 4g bands, too, that make them more compatible in the U.S. (bands 12 & 66). If 5g or those additional 4g bands matter to someone, those are improvements/features to consider.
I also saw replacement backs for the Note 10 pro, for around $5, and watched a video that made it look easy to change. Hopefully never have to do that.

I have no problems with ANX, deep sleep, battery drain, etc. on my RN10P running the Project Sakura ROM. It's cool to prefer one phone over another, but spreading misinformation doesn't help anyone.
Development for this phone really isn't in a good place.
If you look at the latest posts on each of the ROMs, there's either big issues with heavy battery drain, touch issues or microphone problems.
Sad times
