Hello, I personally used OrangeFox to flash the rom over Miui V10.3.10.0 once done, I made a wipe cache and voila, after course if you want to root again you flash TWRP and Magisk just after
Cant update? It says i need to be beta tester? How?
I'm getting a message saying I need to be a beta tester to install this update too, but anyway feedback from people who could install it seems to indicate there's almost none of the anounced new features.
Do I need unlocked bootloader to install or can I install via Ota?
hello for me impossible to install it, it tells me that I must be beta-tester, I do not think we will have the ota by the end of the day, xiaomi is really making fun of us, more to wait.

MIUI11 was released today in India and Russia. Let's cross fingers for EEA, too.
I just received the update
Just received too. I have the terminal unlocked and rooted and I think the way to update without loosing twrp and root is:
- Download from this thread or directly in the update app. 'download last package'
- Reboot in TWRP, delete cache, davilk art
- Install miui 11 package
- Without rebooting, install magisk
- Reboot
Do i miss something?
Thanks in advance
Just received it, too. The changelog seems a little 'poor', doesn't it?
Can anyone help me with a link to miui 11.0.3.0 fastboot tgz file version please?
I got an OTA and tried downloading several times but a message appeared to try in a few minutes. after all there was a message that there was no update. IS OTA INCREASED OR IS IT ANOTHER IN QUESTION?

I was wondering about this, I already posted in the global version thread. I will not update if I lose root.
Take a look at this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-7/help/ota-update-unlocked-rooted-device-t3963409
Don't lose root if magisk is flashed after the rom without rebooting.
Anyway I'm going to wait. The update disappears suddenly in my mobile, I guess this update is coming with problems,
I receive the update yesterday, first impressions:
I litle bit laggy
more battery consumer
Just now updated manual way, before that I set region to German if you still can't update and get beta tester error.

Hi,
I am all new to Xiaomi (so a big noob into this).
I would like to flash the TWRP and to root the phone.
So here are my questions:
1.After that, will my phone received the OTA updates?
2.Or is better to take the rom from the xiaomi.eu and install them?
3.But with this, will I lose all the settings/application from the phone?
Thank you in advance for the answers.
A little up for my question

If you unlock you receive ota updates, but if you install twrp and magisk root you can't have ota. You should use a patched boot image maybe.
It is better you install xiaomi eu rom, it updates via ota with twrp also installed.
If you pass to xiaomi eu you have to format data, so you lose your apps and settings just first time
Thank you @HTCDevil for the explanation.
So sad that the root can't be kept.
So I will install twrp and the eu rom. With this I have 2 on the 3 things.
The phone is new so no data yet.....
Thank you again.

Yes you are right, but I will need to do this on every update, right?
If I understand correct I will need to do if rooted:
-manual update of the rom
-new root of the new rom
Also, will I lose all the settings after an update of the xiami eu image?

Xiaomi eu has ota update, it flashes rom in twrp and wipe dalvik / cache automatically, so you don't lose data or settings. If you lose magisk you simply reinstall in twrp, related app and settings stay there
Thank you again @HTCDevil for your help.
Now I am ready for working with my MI9.
I'm wondering if there's an official changelog for miui releases, I can't seem to find any information on it.
So far in 11.0.4.0 I've noticed:
-Picture in picture is fixed, youtube vanced now works in background like in Android 9 100% of the time.
-Fingerprint scanner works close to 100% of the time instead of ~40-50% of the time.
-Recents lag is now gone.
"-Fingerprint scanner works close to 100% of the time instead of ~40-50% of the time.
-Recents lag is now gone."
Nice, I hope I get the OTA soon!
I just got my k20 pro two week ago.
It was on android 9 an got updated to Miui Global 11.0.3(QFKEUXM) via OTA.
Any idea when and from where does it gets its updates?
I'm curious about 11.0.4 . Does anyone have experience with dirty flashing it? All good?
This cn 11.0.4 actually fixed mine fingerprint sensor to unlock from idle screen
Which phone version is this update for? Can you please write the full string, like for example QFKEUXM.
Picture is picture is not fixed :/

yes will loose it. i've upgraded a few minutes ago. this is the steps taken:
1) move the OTA rom from downloaded_rom to "downloads" folder (important to have no problems)
2) reboot into TWRP
3) flash OTA zip
4) flash magisk 20.3 zip
5) reboot
you will not loose anything else than root. but if you flash magisk after the ROM without rebooting in the middle you're good to go

Did you ever encounter problems of corrupted packages ?
Downloaded at least 5 times by the system update screen and the md5 checksum never matched.
I gave up and downloaded it from the web (bigota.d.miui.com), and no problem.
Is the system download not safe ???
Any ideas why I'm not able to download a non corrupted archive ?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

i am trying since days to find a way to update my phone to version 12.5.7.0 without success, any body can help to solve my problem.

Is that downloaded ROM is fastboot or flashable .zip file ?

The update was received automatically trough OTA or did you downloaded the update manually ?
I had to download the full 4GB or so 15.5.7 update because the incremental one wasn't working.
Please let me know if you need assistance on installing the full update. You can find the rom on one of the threads on this forum.
Good luck !

From the filename it's not the Global ROM but the Xiaomi.EU custom ROM.
This would also mean it's an update to be flashed using TWRP.
Sadly for now the update through system settings doesn't work as TWRP doesn't presently support this feature.
So you need to download the update (which you apparently did ), then boot into TWRP and flash the update from there.

Reboot to TWRP ( use can use the shortcut in settings, device settings, my device and click on the 3 dots top right for menu). Once in twrp, enter screen lock password press return. Select install, select update zip file and slide the slider to the right to flash.
Once done select wipe cache and dalvik, slide the slider to the right to wipe, then select reboot system. This will not format your data as long as it's the same ROM branch you are updating, IE EU weekly to weekly, stable to stable or stock to same stock.
It will take longer to reboot first time but as long as you see miui and 5g, just wait, it will be fine.

You need TWRP to flash that
here is the problem, i have downloaded the TWRP and followed the instructions but the device booted in Chinese language, i have mixed up and stopped the procedure!
Did twrp boot in to Chinese or the ROM? If it's twrp, just type in your screen lock password, then look for settings and select the globe to change to English.
If your ROM is now in Chinese, you flashed the wrong ROM.

my ROM is global, the phone was in Chinese and i have unlocked the bootloader after waiting 336 hours, then flash the Chinese ROM to Global V12.5.5.0, after that i had a message that there is a new update to V12.5.7.0 and here i have stuck!
Yay done with the Mi 11 Pro, only thing I didn't notice was reboot after installation not sure where that is, had to manual restart but updated none the less.
For those with the bootloader locked and are not beta testers, there is a way to update to newest MIUI 13 (android 12) without losing data. I got the European (EEA) version of Redmi Note 10 Pro, so the links will be for EEA version of ROMS.
Here are the steps to do it:
1. Go to settings - about phone - MIUI version and tap on MIUI 12 6 or 7 times until "additional update futures are on" will pop up
2. Download your current version of MIUI 12 ROM https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.5.7.0...AGlobal_V12.5.7.0.RKFEUXM_03d5ef5aec_11.0.zip. Download it using a browser, do not download it with MIUI updater! It would be recommended to have the last version of MIUI 12, in my case is MIUI 12.5.7.0
3. Download MIUI 13 https://bigota.d.miui.com/V13.0.3.0...AGlobal_V13.0.3.0.SKFEUXM_73299ee316_12.0.zip
4. Put the 2 downloaded ROMS in the same folder, on the internal storage of the phone - for example: internal storage/download/downloaded_rom
5. Go to settings - about phone - MIUI version and tap on the three dots on the right upper side of the screen and select Choose update package, go to folder where your downloaded ROMS are, choose V12.5.7.0.RKFEUXM/miui_SWEETEEAGlobal_V12.5.7.0.RKFEUXM_03d5ef5aec_11.0.zip and wait until the notification " Your device will reboot automatically to update to MIUI version V12.5.7.0.RKFEUXM " appears, DO NOT HIT "REBOOT AND UPDATE" OR CLOSE THE WINDOW!! Simply go to home screen.
6. Go to folder you downloaded the ROMS using file manager and rename miui_SWEETEEAGlobal_V13.0.3.0.SKFEUXM_73299ee316_12.0.zip to miui_SWEETEEAGlobal_V12.5.7.0.RKFEUXM_03d5ef5aec_11.0.zip, all you have to do is change the name of MIUI 13 ROM with the name of MIUI 12 ROM you have selected in the update of step 5. TO be able to do that you should change something in the name of MIUI 12 ROM name, you can delete the last letters or add some numbers or letters.
7. After changing the name of MIUI ROM go back to update present on recent and press on "Reboot and Update", the update process has started by decrypting the update zip, after decrypt is finished phone will reboot. Now all you have to do is wait for your beloved Redmi Note 10 Pro to apply the new update.
First boot after update will take some time, don`t panic just wait. I did update my Redmi Note 10 Pro by using this method because I have a locked bootloader and I didn`t joined the beta tester program.
This method can be used on all versions of Xiaomi, Redmi phones and all regions (TR, ID, RU, IN, EEA, GLOBAL, TW) by downloading and using the correct ROMS. If your download a wrong version rom, for example if your Redmi Note 10 is using Indonesian version of rom and you have downloaded the global rom updater won`t let you to do the update, a message like Unable to flash Custom ROM will appear.
If YOU choosing to follow this guide, I am not responsible for bricked devices.
This is perfect, just installed it. However it still has old style quick settings, they might change some design in first official build...
Did anyone noticed that it changed the boot up screen? It no longer says Redmi when turning on but rather just the Mi logo. Same goes for the booting process, goes back to the Mi icon with the 3 dots instead of MIUI's letters boot up.
Yes boot up screen logo is new.
Also to anyone considering doing this, it's still in beta as it shows.
It's jittery, laggy and not at all optimized, you won't be able to downgrade unless you have your bootloader unlocked (which I don't because the phone is new so I have to wait 162 hours).
So flasher beware.
Would anyone be able to provide an answer to the problem that I expose below ?
According to what I read on the following French site https://www.nextpit.fr/xiaomi-miui-13-mise-a-jour-smartphones-compatibles, MIUI13 would be based on Android 11 and not on Android 12 ???
It seems to me really curious, even impossible.

I don't think you can downgrade, unless you have unlocked bootloader.
I'm running this beta for a few days now without a problem. There should also be official update this month and i'm sure most of the bugs will be fixed.
Hello,
Thank you, thanks to you I installed https://bigota.d.miui.com/V13.0.3.0...AGlobal_V13.0.3.0.SKFEUXM_73299ee316_12.0.zip, and it works very well,
then I installed TWRP twrp-3.6.0_11-0-sweet.img,
then magisk
and finally SystemRW/SuperRW (feat. MakeRW) v1.32.
everything is OK even the RW partition.
1000 times THANK YOU

Actualizado a miui 13 siguiendo el tutorial, sin problemas, ya tengo miui 13, todo operativo junto con android 12
If I install the beta version this way, then when the stable comes, I will be able to install it normally?
Bro I install miui 13 Eea Beta version 13.0.2.0 from recovery ROM . Now I want to go back to miui 13 Eea stable version is there to go to stable ROM without pc
Can confirm this is working. Tricked MIUI to update from 13.0.6.0.SJDEUXM to 13.0.7.0.SJDEUXM. Trying by updater app said "This rom is intended for internal testers". This is f*cking genius xD
Hi ,
I have 13.0.1 installed already on my phone and i want to install it again but get an error "the rom is intended for "internal testers" make sure your account has the required permission" , how can i bypass this ?
theres an easier way, in the updates section just tick the box for receiving updates sooner than everyone else, i had it ticked and it updated a couple week back to 13.0.13 EEA. Much easier than flashing. personally i wouldnt recommend it, my phone came brand new from Xiaomi already loaded with 13.0.3, everything worked great, but since it updated to a Beta the battery life is worse, and the phone gets extremely hot when charging and it does seem slower and laggier. i havent managed to downgrade because bootloader is locked and i really dont want to unlock it and ive never flashed a xiaomi so im not 100% on the process. If i had the choice i would stay away from anything above 13.0.3 until the issues are resolved.

Yes, plenty of videos online and posts regarding downgrading, however it can only be done officially and safely by unlocking the bootloader and flashing the rom you want to go back to and will wipe all your data. that is the only official way, you can upgrade without unlocking, but to downgrade you need to unlock it.

Hi all!,
I have now MIUI Global 13.0.10.0 and a few days ago I got an update 13.0.15.0 SKDEUXM. My question is - can I follow the procedure from MIUI 12 to do it in the same way:
Procedure for OTA update with magisk: (Thanks to @Toug )
- Allow MIUI to download the last update
- Allow installation
- Don't allow to reboot just after the update
- Open magisk
- select install Magisk (the first one)
- select the third option
- Select go (maybe wrong translation from french)
- Wait until this image appear (the first line may indicate _b instead of _a)
- Select reboot

What I know, it shouldn't be used during update from MIUI 12 to MIUI 13 but later?
Is here anyone who tried it?
Thanks in advance!
Haven't tried that way, I installed OTA , then flashed twrp again and magisk, everything done in 2mins, 10mins with update.
i did it this way with magisk ota , ça fonctionne nickel chrome , it's work fine
I flashed 15 and have no issues.
Hi, another question: Has anyone tried rooting 13.0.15? Is it the same procedure used for other 13.0.X versions?
I have udpate just yesterday done. I have uninstalled magisk by restore image, then update WITHOUT REBOOT, then install in inactive slot and finally reboot. Just like in MIUI 12.
Further no issues!
