Multiple screens with no scrolling

Hi everyone! How can I make three screens with no scrolling, that is I can't swipe between screens but can select the screen by pinching in and selecting the screen. I need this because I am trying to make a screen where it has shortcuts to go to the next screen. So I want to restrict swiping between screens and only use those shortcuts. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try SSlauncher.
I had exactly what you described on my Galaxy S in it worked perfectly. My screens were set up similar to an old telephone address book. On the right hand side of every one of the 9 screens I had were the numbers 1-9. I was the "home" screen. Under the numbers, that went from the bottom to the top of the screen were short description on what was of that screen. Things like "Home", "Office", "Daily", "Games", "Photo"
It was a joy to use and looked very cool with a smooth transition from screen to screen called "Flow".
One of the nicest things -apart from not having to swipe all the time- was that from the "Home" screen to screen 9 did not mean that 8 other screens had to fly past. The next screed regardless of the number always appeared to be the next screen!
SSlauncher also allows you to switch of "swiping" and even have a different background on each screen.
One warning. Do not be put off buy the developers terrible examples on the Play Store or the learning curve. Go to www.mycolorscreen.? for inspiration.
Don't hesitate to pm for help if you need it.

lock screen swipe/ deletecameraoption

I set lockscreen to unlock with just plain 'ole swiping. however, if I swipe right to left it pulls up the camera. I know you can unlock it, swiping in that direction, if you don't start with your finger on the far right side of the screen. but me and my fat thumbs have been programmed to do so since I've had a smart phone. so my question: how to I delete this feature? I'm rooted

Change Lock Screen Direction?

I am finding it quite annoying that you swipe up, but the lock screen moves left (and the whole tinted screen moves with it). I'm guessing there is no way to change it, so it moves up instead.
My last phone was the Z3 Compact and there you swipe up, and the pattern moves up with the lock screen. It made sense.
I'm annoyed by the visual discrepancy as well, but thankfully I rarely have to interact with it since fingerprint unlock is so quick, accurate and convenient.
Ideally, they should have designed the animation to adapt to different swipe gestures. At least they still allow you to swipe up to unlock instead of forcing you to swipe left.
So.. Am I the only one unlocking by swiping from the right (so for the me animation for me is actually perfect)...?
But why is the padlock at the bottom of the screen if you swipe right to left? I also wouldn't mind if the pattern lock entered from the right. It's the inconsistency that gets me
Most likely the UI people at Sony decided that for this generation, the core UI gesture theme is swiping from right to left.
For example, default home screen is anchored at the very left and additional pages are to the right, so you swipe left to access those pages.
So, by extension, the lock screen should also be unlocked the same way for consistency and smooth transition to the home screen UI flow.
The padlock icon location is probably tied to the Android OS and not something Sony can or wants to change.
Just a guess. I'm still grateful that they didn't remove the ability to swipe up to unlock.
Maybe you're right. I would like to have the option.
I've looked into a few replacement lock screen apps but they don't feel as secure as the stock one.
Sucks for me too. Wish we could swipe any direction.

Android 10 gesture to open all Apps in Drawer mode

Hi There,
I got a little Problem. I updated to Android 10 and so far everything works really well.
There is one thing that bothers me. When you swipe on the screen from bottom up the App Drawer appears. Thats fine so far, but this happens everywhere on the Screen, not only when I swipe from the bottom, but when I swipe from the middle of the screen up it also appears.
Since I got a calendar Widget on my screen this is annoying for I can't slide through my events anymore without opening the App drawer. On Android 9 there were those little dots in the middle of the bottom line favourite apps. Is there any way to get them back and disabling this gesture for the app drawer?`
Thanks in advance.

have you tried Fluid N.G app? it has option to override default emui 10 gestures
The gesture is to wipe up to open the Appdrawer.... if I disable this, I can't open it anymore. I want my button back to open the appdrawer or that only the bottom of the screen responds to the wipe up and not my Widget

Bottom corner homescreen animation, realme UI

Hi, I found this new little animation on both bottom corner everytime I went to homescreen. This is on the new realme UI, so I figured it is a new animation however I have no Idea what it represents. Does anyone here know and could help me out? I'm trying to find a way to turn off this animation
It's to activate Google assistant. Just slide from the bottom corner to the center ...
If someone knows how to deactivate that'll be great.
Settings, click the search bar and type default app, click assist app then select none and the 2 bottom rounded corners disappear.

If you want the animations in the bottom corner for the GA disappear whenever you go to the home screen, just follow this simple guide. Worked for me and it's very simple.
