I have the HTC One X running CM12 on it with android version 5.0.2 and I am having issues installing the Xposed framework.
I downloaded the xposed-v89-sdk21-x86.zip from /framework/sdk21/x86/ and getting this error while flashing it via TWRP (v2.8.5.1.BiG) :

You can no longer take ota's. You are already running what you want. just ignore it. otherwise you can use fastboot to update the files without fastboot flashing userdata and you are set.

I'm using resized partition, 1.2GB and TWRP 2.8.5.0. (btw I can flash every CM based ROM)
Thanks!
Hmm, I actually fixed it by myself! I reverted back to stock partition sizes.

You had to revert to stock layout? Listen, if you don't use the TDB, maybe this might be helpful: http://en.miui.com/thread-99430-1-1.html
Hi,
so I'm having a little bit of a problem with my Moto G 2nd Gen. Dual SIM 2014 (XT1068). I got the notification for the Stagefright fix update a few days ago, but every time I try to install it the installer throws an error after the progress bar is at about 40%.
Now I've found the cause. In /cache/recovery/last_log it says that /system/bin/app_process32 has an unexpected SHA1 sum. The log:

The phone has an unlocked bootloader and was rooted with SuperSU but otherwise unmodified (I needed the root for the Sixaxis Controller). Some forum posts I found mentioned that the "Xposed Framework" is probably the cause, but I did not install that.
... I've found the original file in /system/bin/app_process32_original but system-recovery.sh also has a backup and was definitely modified by SuperSU
So I guess the question is: how can I install the Stagefright update without losing root?

Thanks, but that was exactly what I didn't want to do. But well, I still did it.
Unrooted (that reverted the necessary files back to normal),
Installed the update,
Rooted again with CF AutoRoot.
I need help!

Hi,
I'm using SuperSU which has an option to remove itself.
SuperSU -> Settings -> Cleanup
There you can choose between "Switch superuser app" or "Full unroot".
I used "Switch superuser app", that was enough for me to install the system update.
HI!
I have problem with my phone.
I have twrp and can access fastboot.
When I try to install a rom via usb-otg or internal storage i get this:
Installingzip file '/usbotg/stockrom.zip'
Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
mount: failed to mount /dev/block/dm-0 at /data: No such file or directory

mount: failed to mount /dev/block/platform/hi_mci.0/

symlink: some symlinks failed
Updater process ended with ERROR: 7
Error installing zip file '/usbotg/stockrom.zip'
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/data' (invalid argument)

It all happened when I (stupid me) did update.app. I guess it's a wrong one because on pc it says EVA-L09.
thanks in advance and sorry for my grammar

Seems to have worked but didn't. After I open and update manager it says no root.
Followed this here on the first page:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e4/help/root-question-t3626349
BUT:
Diverged to use Magisk rather than Phh SuperSU from this page, can't get 13.1-13.3 to flash though. Redid stock boot image and reflashed entire ROM a few times deleting cache, etc:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e4/help/root-question-t3626349/page2
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Mine was rooted with Magisk but I just reset to permanently flash TWRP and I'm running into the same issues. Did you ever find a fix?
