I've been messing around with this app obsessively for a few days as a possible replacement for the Gear wake-up gesture. The app seems to be great for two things...
1.) Screen turns off immediately as you start to lower your arm instead of the watch having to wait a minimum of 5-7 seconds
2.) Keep Screen ON by Motion option to prevent a screen timeout for as long as you are looking at it.
I've realized however that the "Turn screen on by motion" option uses more energy and is NOT a good replacement for the normal wake-up gesture found in gear settings. The normal wake-up gesture seems to be better optimized for the watch. No matter how many times i've tried to set up Gravity Screen to do the same thing, the angles don't work right and the screen comes on a lot when it shouldn't.
So i've combined the two...using the wake-up gesture of the gear (keeping the "screen on by motion" unchecked in Gravity screen) and utilizing the Screen Off feature and "Keep Screen ON by motion" feature of Gravity Screen. This has worked the best for me.
Here are the settings i use for everthing...
In the Gear settings:
-Set screen timeout to 7 seconds or whatever you prefer (not important if you keep Gravity Screen running all the time)
-Wake-up gesture set to "Last screen viewed".
(I simply turn off Wake-up gesture and pause Gravity Screen before going to bed... Still looking for a way to toggle these actions as a widget without having to go into settings everytime. Possibly tasker could do it? If anybody knows a way please tell me!)
In the Gravity Screen settings from top to bottom:
Pocket Sensor = 90 degrees
Table Sensor = 90 degrees
Keep Screen ON by Motion = checked
Sensitivity set = 100
Booster = checked
Running During Call = checked (your preference)
Notification = checked
Low Priority (hide icon) = checked
Start at boot = checked
(Everything else leave unchecked)
So that's it. Manually turning on/off the screen is always the best battery saver...but if you want to have the automatic wake-up then using either the app or the gear settings by themselves isn't as good on battery as combining the two as I have described. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks for sharing your findings.
Hello.
Screen timeout is 1 minute. But after unlocking screen turns off after 15 seconds on locker. It happens on HTC Locker and other lockers. But in launcher it is fine - display turns off as set in "screen timeout".
How can I make turning off display on locker as set in "screen timeout"?

#1. My pulse light notification is turned on however ....no pulse light. (I have even assigned specific colors to certain apps) I have confirmed in 'settings' that the pulse notification is enabled.
#2. I have set certain contacts to have shortcuts on my home screen - they appear there quite fine. However, when I click on them, nothing happens. Nothing comes up. No view of the contact. I inadvertently selected initially, open as a contact always, but again - nothing. The short cut icons are there, but are not accessible when clicked. I have removed them and replaced them again - same result.
#3. How do I turn off my 'sleep' mode or even change it from the max of 10 mins?
#4. Why is it that when I turn off my screen, with the red button, so that the screen is blacked out, for battery purposes is why I usually do this, why is it that I don't receive notifications when the screen is blacked out? I have my phone set to vibrate and I can barely tell it is vibrating when it goes off. Again, pulse notification indicators were how I would know I have a message/email etc.,, on my bb however, they are not working per #1 above.
#5. In addition, further to #4 - when I do close off my screen using the red button on the side, I am required to enter my screen lock sequence to open, even if the phone has only been off for a few seconds. As I mentioned in #3, I have the 'sleep' set to 10mins - so why does it lock and not simply allow me to reengage the phone without having to unlock?
I am confident that these are all simply issues - however being completely new to the phone, I am having difficulty figuring out how to resolve them.
Thank you in advance to those providing feedback!
Regards,
Kimberly

1) Does it light when the phone is plugged to charger?
2) I'm using a different launcher (Nova Launcher) and contacts shortcuts works fine, so I don't know
3)I think it's the 3rd option in Display setting
4) You maybe should have to set permission manually in Battery settings
5) Under Privacy and Security, find Lock Screen (or Screen Lock), then Security Lock setting and there you can change the lock delay time
Is there a way for the Samsung messages to just flash on the AOD (I have AOD set to tap to show) and not turn on the whole screen to show. Similar to the 6t it pixel ambient display?
Thanks
If you set messages notifications to sound+popup it should turn on the screen for a bit, but the aod image will be static.

That's what I have currently. I'm trying to see if just the AOD can show and not have the screen turn on at all
Hi everyone
Everytime I open the open the notification bar or lock screen I the default notification sound goes off, sometimes when I have the screen off. Whatever triggering it off doesn't show in the notification bar as it goes off when there's nothing listed.
I think this might have happened when I silenced the app high power usage message for the vanced microG.
Anyone else had this problem?
Is there a way the access the app high power usage notifications setting?
