Just being using this case for few days now. Very sleek and minimal case that shows some blue colour of my new device is joy to look at for its perfect fit and finish.
On the user experience front this is very thin case with good grip from sandstone finish.
Protection is very minimal as top and bottom of the device is exposed but holding the device with this case feels it on different level on the user experience department.
Looking for a minimal looking full protective case from third party cases for weekends and travel use as this case won't be enough for those situations.
Suggestions welcome.. Looking forward to Ringke Fusion x case camo finish. Hope it comes soon on Amazon India.

Anyone else feeling slight fitment issue on the top right corner? I have two sandstone cases and both seem to have issues on that corner- I can manually push it tighter, but after a few moments it drops back slightly.

If the Sandstone for the OP7T is anything like the OP6 version, try and avoid removing the phone from the case too often.
Had my OP6 for just over a year using the Sandstone 95% of the time - but after about 6 months of occasionally removing the phone from the case, the corners cracked and bits broke off. The same has happened to the 2nd Sandstone case I bought - the corners were showing some cracks and when I remove it the other day to transfer the SIM, one of the corners broke off.
Still love the case though - have ordered one for the OP7T earlier today.

Yeah, they really messed up some of the orders. I bought a $12.99 case from them because it mentioned the sleep/wake function specifically. They sent me one of the $6 cases and will send another like the email said. I'm just curious what case it will be. The Amazon link now has a rotary case pictured with a Samsung tablet in it. It's nice that they let me keep the first one, but I hope the 2nd one is different beyond a magnet added to it.

Hmmm, be careful though, looks like they just edited the $12 case Item Title and Features section and removed the Auto Sleep/Wake description. Quite confusing at this point.

I ordered the cheap slim fit case, however it looks like they have a few new cases that are much more to my liking on Amazon. What great customer service. I have to admit I am shocked. Pretty sweet looking case, choice of colors are good also... the holster doesnt convince me much but for the price its worth a try.. although the camera being covered might present a problem for someone who uses the camera often.

Quality is superb, protection is better than Defender, built in screen protector is very functional (though have to remove inner plastic cover which I forgot to do lol!!!), the case will be very bulky with additional protection but it's meant for a heavy duty rugged use outdoors. You toss this em-effer from a 5 story building on a concrete floor and it will probably survive
Belt clip is bot as sturdy, but its a design of original Griffin Survivor. Keep in mind, Griffin does NOT make Survivor for Note 2. This is improvised knock off where S3 case was scaled up for Note 2 footprint. Camera flip is fine because it attaches on a string where you can turn it out of the way without a need to hold down the flap.

Think it's too much to hope I can buy 2 of these and mix colors? From the other fake survivor thread it seems like the quality control on these can be spotty. Do the microphone holes look much smaller on these than the ones from case parts or am i imagining things?

Of Aliexpress? I buy from them all the time. I have yet to have an issue with the sellers. Also, you should buy from popular sellers. Regardless, they don't get paid until you get the product in your house and release the funds. I wish I could say the same about CrapBay.

I ended up ordering one locally here in china on taobao. The case is really nice and I like it alot. The only downside is the rubber that protects the camera I could do without . It is a littke bit of a hassel when you want to take a picture. Other than that well worth thr $6 usd.

Do you feel like there's not enough lip at the back and it will scratch the camera lens? I have a back protector so I am not worried about the cover but the screen worries me a bit.

I just got mine and it looks great. Be careful trying to figure out how to get your phone in there. The metal frame slides out from the bottom piece. Cheap korean packaging with no instructions or even a picture diagram.
The bumper itself is a good bumper however I notice it degrading my signal for both wifi and cellular... So if you notice your phone dying faster it's probably this bumper killing the signal. Take it off.

That's kind of a deal breaker for me because it's putting my phone into no signal when I'm inside any building and I'm missing calls/texts plus my battery is dying much faster due to it constantly searching for signal.
Wow. Can't believe the used the Sweet Armor name and threw in Korean Design on the packaging. Lol.
The real Sweet Armor cases suffer from no signal loss. I have one for sale if anyone is interested. But it's $50.

I will call at&t directly after I cancel my Verizon order for the wrong case. I'll let you know what happens.....
I am on the phone with AT&T and they can NOT find this case in their system/inventory....it's so annoying. If we had Verizon here in Anchorage, I would take back this phone and go with the Verizon variant. I spoke with an AT&T rep who is calling all the stores within a hundred miles to see if she can locate one for me. When she calls me back, I will update this post.
Try some T Mobile Stores as well, I know they give one for free maybe they have some in stock early before the phone release.
I just searched all over google search and NOTHING!!! Sucks cus i always have a case and screen protector literally the instant i take my device out the box. When i saw this case i fell in love, perfect for me at the gym with that little window music player. Just tap tap and change track, lol! Only place i've found this sold is on ebay in S. Korea for $79.99, not worth half that price imo for what the case is actually made out of. Costs probably $5 to make this damn case and sells for $79.99, yeah no deal!
A bit off topic, but while the Verizon rep was trying to figure out what the G2 even was, I tried on this case in the store and was severely disappointed in how cheap it felt.
My main issues are that nothing holds the flap closed so it gets caught on my pocket pulling it in and out and the hinge is the cheapest parts of the entire case, so it "shifts" on the phone. I can't explain it much better than that, but the window cover just sort of "flaps around."
Just thought I would share so you don't loose too much sleep trying to track it down.
Best buy now shows the window case online but its not available anywhere yet. Hopefully this means they are expecting some because I have been looking since purchase also

It was my understanding that LG wasn't releasing this case the same time the phone was released... Hence why everyone is having such problems finding it.
Best Buy said it wasn't available in any stores yet, but I did just order it from online, and they say it will ship tomorrow... So, I think that is your best best. The only have the black color available though, but they do have it for all the carriers, including VZW .

The metal banding around the inside of the window scratched my screen. Granted the scratch is barely visible and it takes some effort to see but I imagine it would only get worse from there so I stopped using it. Anyone want mine?

I don't really want a flip case, but a decent leather sleeve with some holes in the front to allow the dot view to be used would be nice?

I do know that it's going to happen. What the actual quality, style, and all turn out to be is going to depend on the manufacturers, but there are some that have already begun to utilize the magnet activation system that's inside the dot view case that enables dot view "mode"

edit: should mention this is NOT what it sounds like you're looking for, but it is proof that 3rd parties will probably be doing some designing and developing for more options soon.

While the Dot view sounds and looks cool. I just don't see how it is easy to hold a curved back phone with a flipped back flap on it. It can be done, yes. But why would you want to mess with a folded back flap??
Spigen will introduce soon an Dot-View Variant of the Slim Armor View for the M8.
I'm surprised its taking so long to get these 3rd party dot view cases to market. HTC has given case manufacturers a unique feature to offer but they have yet to utilize it.

just use xposed framework and the dot view mod, and everything is fine ....

I have been searching for one too.
A friend of mine is using a 3rd party dot case, she said it doesn't work too well but I assume it depends on the brand. I'll see if I can upload pics soon.

Spigen don't use to spread rumours officially, but some employee friend of a friend of the cousin of my sister first boyfriend told us that
Just don't care, rely on something: Spigen never left an market opportunity, of they launched an armor view case for the Nexus 5, do you believe they will not do the same on the more popular and appeal M8.
Believe me the Spigen Slim Armor Dot-View exists and will be launched soon, don't spect an pre-release announcement this is against marketing logic (so many people won't buy the std slim armor case waiting for the dot view version)...

Thanks I ordered one as well. I have the original but I accidentally tore it off the back trying to stretch it to fit over a glass screen protector. Still sort of works if I tuck it into another case.

so i just got emailed by the ebay seller saying that he wont ship it to me due to overwhelming complaints about the item but he will send a similar item with higher quality. i said im fine with it but im now wondering if it will work with my glass screen protector.
