Keep trying to join the project! I had the same issue yesterday, but today it worked and i could register just fine.

If there's no Beta for that region, then refreshing it's useless. Also, if you don't live in that region, you need a sim from there, because that's also checked by the Beta app.
In my case and the one from the user i responded to, the project was available to us, but for some reason (probably technical issues on Huawei's side) we couldn't register into the Beta Project.
AFAIK the beta testing is available for Italy and Germany, but i don't know if it's available for other countries/regions.

it's system app you can't disable it or even delete it with out root.

Well, it's surprising that it won't be featured for Asia. Last beta program I joined was with my Mate 9 and it was C636.
I do have a SIM but is blocked (cos I traveled and will be back to Asia in February).
Hopefully, Asia gets to be part of the program then I'll try the SIM I may be lucky

Was the project full when you registered for the beta? I might be wrong, but if i remember correctly from the EMUI 9 beta testing, the fact that the project is full doesn't matter if you already registered, so at some point the status will go from "registered" to "joined".

This happens to me when I try to login to my hongkong account. Your account must match your region.
It's easier to just sign up a new one using your phone# (or email)

Just asked Huawei Mobile Romania using Facebook Messenger about this update, lets hope ill get an answer soon about it. Probably the update will appear on phone in waves for users. I think if we need to wait a bit for the update to show up.

Lol :cyclops: i had a P8 lite single sim branded in Vodafone and I unbranded it and updated it to MM.
What I sayed is that, being an oficial update, for sure it will soon be available using OTA.
So dont asume i cant do a manual update. I just prefer to wait a bit. CHEERS

Thanks for the link,but there is a problem. For the first, i'm a new user of Huawei,so i still don't trust this phone like the old one and i can't test everythyng on my own. On the old one i failed a lot of times to install the rom,but wasn't a problem. I was sure i can repair it every time. I made the update to Marshmallow, B560 if i'm not wrong,but in that archive was only a file, UPDATE.APP, , but there are more. So i'm not sure if the proces is the same or not. I don't want to risk and break it

well don't do it then... there are a lot of guides and tutorials on how to update... and because it's an OTA you won't lose your data and apps.. @Azzureux You don't need to wait, it's the same if you do it manual(in Romania o sa ajunga sigur târziu deci nu văd de ce să aștepți)...

if you download and install manual via local update it's same as getting through OTA, you wont loose your warranty, how many time do i have to explain this?
your warranty is voided only if you unlock bootloader or rooting your phone but for these 2, you can undo.

Hi experts,
Been facing this issue since more than 4 months now on Honor 5C. Since I got this phone in December 16, I have not received any update. I tried manually updating the same via firmware finder in March and was successful but after update my build changed to NRD test key and many apps, clock, themes, file manager, updater missing and even keyboard so cant even reset the phone as after reset it ask to setup google account and cant do that without keyboard.
Rolled back to MM.
Tried downloading the firmware from official site and various other sites for B301, B310, B320 and used Dload method but couldnt succeed as it failed all the time. I am not debranding and used the firmware for same model but same problem all the time.
Rolled back to MM B140, updated to B151 via dload, success. but unable to use dload to upgrade to B301/B310/B320 so rolled back to B140.
Today I updated to B310 (from B140) via firmware finder and then updated to B320 via dload both success but same problem of many apps, clock, themes, file manager, updater missing and even keyboard.
How shall I proceed with the update now.
Any idea on what could be missing. Phone with locked bootloader.

I updated manually to b151 through dload and works fine but none after that. I downloaded many files for this

So what does 129 bring? I downloaded 128 for the Mate 10 (not pro) and it was 3GB! Notice no difference.
Battery life looks much much much better

You will need to wait until it will get approved, could be hours days or weeks.

Yes if the update is not approved for you you get on the update screen an error and its start normally (only happen when the firmware is not approved)

If I use the OTA instead of the FullOTA, will it have any impact on my phone?
As I know no. But I needed to use always the full ota, the normal ota gave me always an error.

Until now there is no problems with new android OS but the difference isn't as expected, only some app icons goes to be rounded and one app and three games were add to app drawer
To be honest there's some changes in settings. (you can say it's rearrangement for the settings)
I feel that the subject wasn't worth it, but I wanted to share with you what I have founded after the update.
Accept my apologies if there are language errors.
Couldn't sign up for the beta anyways .. but I can see it's really not worth it to be a tester lol .. I mean .. you can clearly see that there are no major changes in the UI to be heavily tested .. other than some basics and the changes from Google's Oreo update itself ,, anyway .. thank you for the effort and for the info you gave us.

go to settings and try to find update manual. i didn't get any notification about update.
By the way I had unlocked my boot loader before joining beta testing project but i re-locked it again before joining project and i haven't had a problem in getting and installing oreo update.

the update files seems to be deleted after update i couldn't find it in whole of my phone.

No i can't because this is a testing version and unlocking bootloader can roll back the official version of EMUI 5.0 as what huawei said in update agreement besides i don't want to erase my personal data.

Quick question. If you have a branded device (In my case it's Tim) can u flash another firmware on it or do I have to unlock the bootloader? On that matter, any places I can look for that in terms of websites that do it that are legit?
