Hi guys,
I try to find a answer if it's possible to connect a Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Box MDZ-26-DA to Google Home.
Other chance would be connecting to Mi Home App. But it seems that it is not possible to connect it either to Google nor to Xiaomi. :crying:
Which other small Box would you recommend to integrate to Google Home. I dont want to use Alexe or other stuff with mic.

Hi, Chromecast Audio connected to the aux input of your Mi Bluetooth Box would provide the connection to your wifi network controlled by Google Home on your smartphone. This enables streaming content from your wifi network or the internet via your smartphone. It's simple to set up and use.
I'm no techie and I use Chromecast Audio to connect older stereo music systems to my wifi network. It makes dumb systems 'smart'. They can play music from smartphone, computer and NAS, stream Spotify, and play internet radio.
Google stopped selling Chromecast Audio recently but it's still available new from web sources.

Hey, I have CM9 on my tablet but TV-Out will not function. I set the video type to PAL and plug cable into my headphone jack and into TV then click to enable TV out and nothing happens. Audio comes through the TV but see no picture at all How do I fix this? Hopefully easy fix cause I am going away this week and would like to use it as a portable media player to hookup to TV at accomodation. Thanks!
Enable TV-out:
Settings -> Advanced -> TV Out (turn on): Now working TV-Out.
The sound is not does the TV outs, headphones only working.
I confirm: tv-out video signal is working but no sound over the tv-out cable.
And also no hardware acceleration for video regardless of which player I use.
I'm using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523174
So if you daily use the tv-out, stay on GB!
Hello friends! I installed cm9 today!! About the bug of camera just use Camera fx and it's super ok

Is there a way, from a separate device (laptop, mobile device etc), to view what a Chromecast device is currently playing? Essentially, stream in the opposite direction of what the Chromecast is intended for.
Example:
I've got a youtube video playing on my television thru my Chromecast. I've put it there via my mobile phone. From my laptop, can I connect to the Chromecast and see what it is playing?
From the chrome browser, It should tell you what app it is using. No details though. Just "Netflix" or "YouTube"

If you happen to connect using the same app that launched the content it will in some cases tell you what content is playing to ensure you want to jump onto the control channel.
But it's not really possible to jump onto a Plex App Control Panel from some other app other than Plex....
Same would be true for YouTube and Netflix I would suspect.
There's an Android app called RemoteCast that attempts to connect to a Chromecast already running an app and take over control. If it succeeds, it shows you what's playing and lets you ff/rew/vol+- etc.. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated in a long time, and doesn't work for most Chromecast apps these days, but the potential is there.
Hi all,
I have this setup for a long time. In the morning when I'm usually getting into my car BT turns on and automatically connects.
What I need is when it connects to turn off WiFi because I'm leaving the house. I've tried all kinds suggestions I found online but neither one works
What am I missing?

I don't have tasker installed right now, but you need to create a profile that looks for state of your car bt connecting. Then create a task to changes network setting on wifi to off triggered by that profile.

Click to collapse
Thank you!
Creating new profile that looks for state solved my issue. Does anyone knows why %BTConnected = 1 as a task did not work?
It should turn off WiFi when it connects to the car BT.
OK. A little background.
One of the devices I use with my phone is an OBDII "scanner" for my vehicle. They make various types. Plugin (don't like that kind, can't charge my phone at the same kind), bluetooth (don't like that kind, can't listen to my phone's music while it's paired to the OBDII device)...and a WIFI connection device.
This is the one I landed on using. The problem is, it doesn't "release" the network connection. So hours later, in the house or halfway across town (from the car) I'll notice I've got no internet or phone service because the phone still thinks it's connected to the little OBDII scanner.
So my thought was, a little script to watch for my bluetooth to UNpair from my vehicle's bluetooth (when I get out, to go in the house/work), where it would turn off the wifi for like 30 seconds, forcing the phone to drop the OBDII(wifi) so it could acquire my home wifi.
Is this do-able with an un-rooted phone? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Good morning Guys,
I have a mobile phone in the car only for android auto, but I wanted it to be the wireless adapter, because my car does not have AA Wireless.
does anyone know if it's possible?
thanks
All you need is a wirless adapter for it. I will probably recommend another AACARPLAY AI Box for you, not only wireless AA, it brings full android OS to your car. You can take your car the same as your phone.

Is it possible to turn any android phone into adapter??!
Stačí mít hotspot spuštěný. Ale jak to nastavit, aby to fungovalo na hlavní sim telefonu do reproduktoru?
Mod Edit: English Translation Below
Just have the hotspot running. But how to set it up to work on the phone's main sim to the speaker?
Not sure if this still works, but I've used it years ago and was working. Not the most stable (back then) but it did provide a way to change my wired android auto connection in the car to a wireless one.
Of course, you still need a car which supports wired Android Auto.
