Hi guys,
Is there any simple way to draw / annotate onto picture / screenshot for P4XL ?
Other than going into picture using "markup".
This takes quite a few steps and loops to jump through.
Cos I was on LG V30 prior and there is a screen shot function (Capture+) within the notification and from there I can "draw lines / annotate " directly onto the picture/screenshot.
Very streamline and effortless.
Many thanks!

Right after you take a screenshot it gives you an option to edit. From there you can.
The edit option is right in the notification.

I prefer the standard gallery app instead of desire option however the images are shown in a bad order. When I go to the camera folder the most recently taken photo is at the end of the list.
Any ideas how to change this, many thanks
I would like to know this also?
It's very annoying when you want to send a picture message, or view the photo you just took and you have to scroll over to see the pic...
edit: And I'm not using a desire rom...
anyone know anything about this?
Just take the Gallery3D.apk from a stock .zip file, or Cyanogen, and install it on the Desire ROM. You don't even have to do anything complicated - just install it like any other application. Or, with an app installer, or task manager (some do this).
No offense, but I don't understand why it was hard to come up with this idea?
the issue is with the desire camera and not the gallery or photos application.

Clicking 'All Photos' brings you to Photo #1 (the oldest one).
Clicking 'Camera Shots' brings you to the last photo (the most recent taken photo).
Pro-Tip #2:
Press menu to activate Grid View. Obviously, this makes browsing a lot of photos 100 times faster.

Hi there,
Apologies if this is a noobie question, but is it possible to change the docking settings from the blue background, and time/weather display? Or is there an app that will do the job?
I wondered if there might be something that could do a slide show of my pictures, or a screensaver - just something a little more entertaining for when I'm bored at work!
I did have a search of the forums, but couldn't see an immediate answer.
Many thanks in advance
Just get a live wallpaper from the market. I use one and its alright. Look..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_u8NhYBGRVY
Thanks for that - but a live wall paper is not the solution - I have a very nice Galaxy livepaper, but the moment I plug it into my dock/charger, I get this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Is there anyway to change the setting for this?
Cheers
[ah... can't post links because I'm a noobie.. oh well...]
You can press the menu button on the bottom left of your device. That will bring up a menu and you can go into the setting and change things about the background. Cheers
That's excellent - just what I was after - thank you so much!
Hmmm... it shows my nice galaxy live wall paper for a bit, and then for some reason reverts back to the blue screen again - is there another setting somewhere?
Many thanks

Hey Guys,
I recently searched the forms and have noticed that some users were asking for extended Emoji support for Android. While this is currently a work in progress, so far this feature has been successfully executed on the Google Nexus 4. Although the process might be streamlined onto other Nexus devices, I have currently only tested this on the Nexus 4. I am also looking to see how this can be ported to other Android devices.
NOTE: This guide dose not require a custom ROM, Rooting or a third party SMS cleint.
There are a few set backs.
1. All emojis are black and white
2. I have found a few are missing. You will see in my screen shot. It is really only a few.
3. You need to quickly switch between keyboards (it is not as much of a pain as you think, follow the screen shots) I have gotten use to it quickly.
- Mods I am not trying to promote my Website, I simply just didn't want to upload all the screen shots for the how to guide on here. I want to post it here so I can help users and get feed back.
Visit the link below for a complete how to guide:

This makes it much easier. Thanks

Thanks for the guide! I am able to type emojis, but for some reason every time someone sends me emojis they show up as a line of asterisks (looks like **************). Any thoughts on why this could be?
I don't have access to the iwnn thing....

I have been using Snapchat frequently, but I have noticed that ever since a month ago, when I specifically record videos on Snapchat, there is a black bar on the top and bottom, I am assuming the aspect ratio is off? You can't change the camera settings via the Snapchat app, so I was wondering what could be causing this...
It takes pictures fine though. Really would like to fix this issue, as it is awkward sending a video via Snapchat with black bars making it look like as if I am using some type of ancient phone...
Can you send a screenshot so that we can see what you are seeing? AFAIK it may be an update affecting video

Sorry I just saw this! So I took a random picture of the Chicago Skyline via Google Images (if for some reason this post gets flagged, the original picture can be found here: http://monkeywrenchplumbers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/IMG_44852.jpg).
Anywho, this is how videos on Snapchat turn out (again, I didn't take this picture!) but basically, imagine that picture was a normal 10 second video on Snapchat, that is how the video is usually outputted as, with the two black bars:

Hi, as above. After updating this really annoying eyedropper icon that if pressed, changes the colour of everything on screen. Mostly It's just in the bleeping way.
What is it and how do I get rid of it?
Thanks,
Zo0

Go to settings then the accessibility section then the text and display section the colour correction shortcut is what you need to turn off
that's the first thing/place I looked but upon further review and getting used to the new interface, the radio button is on a drop-down menu under CC and it says " colour correction shortcut lol "
I guess I was in such a hurry I missed it.
Thank you,
Zo0
