I have a weird issue with my fingerprint sensor after unlocking the bootloader.
I tried to format all data from settings and from recovery but i have always the same issue

Yes i'ts the first boot but I tried to skip it and I have the same bug in settings

Have you removed the phone password and your fingerprint BEFORE unlocking the bootloader ?
If no, have you try to relock bootloader ? If there is no fingerprint problem after relocking the bootloader, you can try to add password and fingerprint again, then delete it, and then try to unlock again.
I had the same bug.
After unlocking the bootloader, the fingerprint authentication flashes and cannot be set.
After re-locking, the same bug will occur even if fingerprint authentication and face authentication are set, deleted and unlocked again.

Well this is concerning, can anyone confirm if they at least do not get this issue?

I just relocked the bootloader and eveything works fine again. So I removed all authentications (pass, face, finger) and unlock again but same issue occured...
The software was updated.
Could this have caused a bug?

Seems like a software bug, you can report it to realme and hope they fix it.
I tried to flash ROM with latest ozip but always same issue

When exactly did this update roll out? I just got my new Realme 7 Pro today and the problem is still there.

Have you this issue on Global ROM (International [XM] or EEA [EU]) ?
I advice to try MiuiMix (ROM based on Xiaomi.eu) with some features, fixes and Rooted. Try and feedback here

I don't said MiuiMix WILL BE different but trying if you want like Xiaomi.eu because (like i've said MiuiMix is a Xiaomi.eu enhanced) I've first asked if you have this error on a official (Global) Rom... You have answer yes, in EU, Global, etc... So it's definitively a Hardware problem.

sorry I miss understood yeah tried what I could and dont want to waste anymore time on this phone wasted too much already
I also have this problem, but I had a screen replacement so my issue is probably hardware unfortunately..
Tried resetting the fingerprint sensor in CIT but keeps failing at the end.
(Heartbeat sensor works fine though)

I didnt even replace the screen and it stopped working tried what I could but under warranty so will be returning good luck to anyone else who gets this issue

I managed to successfully callibrate the fod after a screen replacement!!
Fingerprint sensor calibration helped, now everything works.
I'm thinking on doing this because Global ROM can't record calls, that sucks.
My phone is a Redmi Note 9 3GB RAM (M2003J15SG NFC Version) with the Stock MIUI 12.0.1.0(RJOMIXM) and I'm from Brazil.
Which Stock ROM can I flash without losing the Portuguese language, the Dual Sim support and NFC? (And of course that allow me to record calls).
And just to keep my conscience clean, do I have to unlock the bootloader before flashing the stock ROM? And can I do backup of the IMEI and others important partitions before starting messing with the phone? (I mean unlocking the bootloader, rooting, etc).
I have read and downloaded a ton of stuff before asking and attempting anything in order to not do dumb things, so I apologize for all those also dumb questions im asking

I was trying to update to the latest version of the system and mostly be able to record calls. But I managed to solve both problems.
The update to MIUI 12.5 was not showing up for me, but I changed the "Region" setting (the one near the language option) to USA and it appeared and I could update.
The recording calls option inside the Google Dialer app showed up after I enabled some hidden options (I can show how I did if someone needs) and it's working perfectly so I didn't need to leave Global version of the ROM or flash anything.
But I still wanting to root, but read that this phone starts loosing IMEI kinda randomly, so I still afraid of trying to unlock the bootloader and get into this kind of stuff with this phone.
But for now my problems are solved, thank you very much!

That doesnt happens randomly. That happens when someone try to flash and then clear some permanently partitions, like NVRAM. Once NVRAM is lost, you cant recover it nevermore.
(Isso não acontece aleatoriamente. Isso acontece quando alguém tenta fazer o flash e apaga as partições permanentes do aparelho, como NVRAM. Uma vez que o NVRAM é perdido, você não consegue recuperá-lo nunca mais.)

I have a Xiaomi Mi11 an use the Gpay App. The problem is that I dont have to unlock the screen to pay.
Is there a way to disable this behavior? Or to disable NFC while locked? Otherwise you shouldnt use xiaomi smartphones to pay.

Which ROM do you have on it? I use xiaomi.eu weekly beta.
I have the official MIUI 12.5.7 EU.
It asks for my fingerprint if I pay while my Mi 11 is locked I think.

Unfortunately it is true. It should ask for password. I have the same. It is not fixed yet.

I'm on MIUI 13 EEA 13.0.4 and Google pay working fine for me.
You must pass the SafetyNet before Google Pay working.
I noticed this behavior too! It's intentional. In Germany, if you pay less than 50€, you don't need to unlock screen. Danke

Global rom doesn't hide the fact that BL is unlocked without Magisk Hide, thus SN will fail, only EU rom does that

I didn't try but I see no reason for it not to work as Magisk alr support android 12.
I upgraded my honor magic pro from Magic UI 5.0 to Magic UI 6.0, after which am unable to install gms anymore because the LZ Play app doesnt work.
Any solutions to this? or any way to rollback toMAgic ui 5.0

Nope, although there's an option showing launchers in settings >apps > app defaults, there's no way to change launchers, newly installed launchers are not detected by the UI.

Best way to go will be install emui tools, and disable launcher from there.
That might solve things.
Never tried that because one of the main things for me buying a Huawei is it's ecosystem/ui.

The name of the tool is multi tool 8, by xda developer team Mt, the ones that developed firmware finder for Huawei.
I'm having trouble with my appallery. Normally loads fine and updates app and stuff, but on using search function for apps that are not directly recommended below search bar, I get this error.
