Hi everyone, question is a bit weird but i will try.
I bought sim card before 2 weeks, and i got internet but only for some apps(insta, messenger,fb,viber). I was wondering is there maybe some "hack" or whatever that can allow me to use internet for other things.

Hello,
I'll be getting my flex in a few days and was wondering if the att g flex has carrier IQ activated and/or installed. I know it is (and can be deactivated via root) on the att G2 but I haven't heard anything on the Flex. Thanks!

I used the G2 method to get rid of it. You need root and I use System Tuner Pro. It stays off that way and I dont have to worry about it.

Hi fellow Mi 5 users,
Has anyone got WiFi calling working on their Mi 5? I'm on three UK and Lineage OS and the option doesn't show.

Sorry for off topic question... Do you have 4G connectivity on Three? I'm not happy with EE and I'm thinking to switch to Three but I don't want to lose 4G.

Yeah I've got LTE on Three. Not sure if VoLTE works yet but will see when out and about.

I don't care about VoLTE. I just need decent internet lol. Thanks for your answer.
Three confirmed that only a handset sold by them will work. Would it be possible to post the relevant code from a Three ROM to make a flashable zip?

Can anyone using an unlocked note 8 let me know if you can still use the hotspot feature?
Also curious if you have an unlocked S8 or S7 , does the hotspot work?

Yes I read that people with the unlocked s8 can use the hotspot without Verizon getting in the way. So the unlocked Note8 should be the same. The only trade-off is you do not get Wi-Fi calling or HD calling because the firmware does not support it. I don't use those features so it doesn't bother me. You can flash the Verzion firmware and get those features but you lose the hotspot. Idk if you can go back to carrier unlocked firmware so I'm not messing with it.

Yea I dont use wifi calling, but love my hotspot, so tradeoff works for me, ty
Niceee, no problem gingi ! That's the main reason I wanted root in the past. I wish I knew about the unlocked phone loophole sooner lol..

There's a few scripts that you can run and it gives you HD calling.

I had no idea this was possible. I thought everyone using Nougat was locked out of hotspot without root regardless of the phone being unlocked. If that's the case, I'd return the Note I ordered from Verizon and just buy it from Bestbuy.

Thank you much!
I did my best for a mini tutorial. The app is called shortcut master
For users in the "New" Verizon Unlimited plan, would an unlocked phone bypass the 15GB limit on hotspot before they throttle you to 3G?

I know this is for verizon but I used the shortcut app and went to settings then RadioInfo and found this:
It's weird, since I live in an european country and found online that you can set your phone to Indian region temporally in order to get the MIUI11 update.
However, I don't seem to be able to make NFC work.
Is there any extra step to make this work on a 9t Pro?
Where do you change the region?

UPDATE: Didn't lose NFC: Found out the piece of metal between my phone and my phone case, which I use to hold my device on my car interferes with the NFC chip.
I had to stop using such method.
