I have the Redmi K20 pro Indian Version
So here's the issue I'm on the 10.4.8 Miui 10 Android 10 with custom recovery. I got an update for Miui 11 and after the downloa, my recovery was erased and replaced with stock. I even tried manually flashing the update from recovery.
Then I flashed the recovery via fastboot and couldn't flash DM Varity. After the reboot the recovery was gone.
I used the
1) Sky Hawk Recovery
2) TWRP recovery latest
Can someone plz tell what I'm doing wrong. :crying:

I have install twrp 3110 OK
when i install this xiaomi.eu rom latest beta everything is OK
when i want install back latest stable global 9.110 by xiaomi i download normal recovery rom from xiaomi site and put it on phone storage then i normal go twrp wipe (factory reset) install 9110 install is ok
when i click reboot system i see on boot only mi logo and no this .... powered by android
also same when i choose in twrp wife all data system etc expect storage where is this downloaded rom.
could any explain me why it stuck at boot if installation via twrp is ok ?
but when i install back this xiaomi.eu rom boot works OK

Hello, this happens because official MIUI boot.img verifies if recovery.img is also official/original.
You have 2 options to resolve the boot problem:
1. If you want to keep TWRP then modify boot.img... http://en.miui.com/thread-249666-1-1.html (with R4X image of course)
and flash it from TWRP or fastboot: fastboot flash boot boot.img
2. If you want original recovery, get "recovery.img" from the exact TGZ image as your MIUI ZIP
and flash it: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

okay so i dont know what happen with my phone after all is work fine and then the error occured when i flash the twrp.img to recovery partition after that i flash miui 12 china stable zip file and rebooting to system i tried mi pc suite to backup my phone but i cant go to miui recovery i dont know why its bliking black and go to system when i tried to miui recovery mode, so now im using miui 11 china stable flashing by fastboot mode. My question is, is it ok to flash miui recovery.img to recovery partition by using twrp or orfox recovery i want to fix this problem, my phone is fine at least i just cant go to miui recovery, is my recovery partition corrupted or damaged or something else i tried to fix this problem
i flash miui 11 china stable twice using miflash and this error wont fix

i just bought a brand new mi 8 se with a unlocked bootloader ! it was running android 8.1 and i installed miui_MI8SE_V11.0.2.0.QEBCNXM_3363abf171_10.0 on it with a old twrp (i think 3.2) because the newest twrp just refused to boot . after installing that rom recovery or the OS won't boot so i installed the newest twrp and both android and twrp 3.5.0 booted no problem !
buy that rom is a china version and it's BS ....
i downloaded miui 11 from xiaomi.eu and attempted installing it ! i did the following :
enabled usb debugging and reboot to fastboot mode and installed twrp 3.5.0 and booted in twrp
then i used advance wipe option and wiped everything but internal storage
so i installed the rom and wiped data with writing yes and rebooted the phone but it shows the fastboot mode and i can't boot into android or twrp ....
so i have to use miflash to install the stock rom and repeat the process and follow every guide i could find one by one but still i'll stuck in fastboot

btw fastboot command didn't work at the start on my pc so i found a batch file for AMD and after using that fastboot on pc started working just fine

Hello, I am trying to flash TWRP from this thread on to my Mi 11 it works fine when i use fastboot boot twrp.img and then install twrp using Flash Current TWRP.
But when i then reboot my device miui 12 gets in a bootloop. So i flash miui again to get it working and TWRP is gone and so on.... any fix for this?
